Staff not pick up the call ... long time waiting

The office and reception team is INCREDIBLY rude. I don't think I've ever been to an office with a meaner staff before. I felt like I was the new girl that walked into a school full of mean, passive aggressive girls. Who is paying who here? The doctor herself was ok, but the staff just doesn't cut the mustard. I had a major issue that caused me a lot of pain and I needed urgent help. I explained the seriousness of what was happening and they just put me on hold multiple times for 20 mins just to hang up in my face. They said the doctor would call me about the issue and she never did. As a result of the consistent poor treatment from the practice, I stopped going there and found another doctor. I'm much happier since leaving.

Have been going to Dr. Salgado for years. Office staff is very professional. Wait time is about 15 minutes. The doctor is straight, to the point, and very knowledgeable about my issues.

Dr Salgado is exceptional. She delivered 3 of my boys and my first birth was complicated. She was extremely detailed to ensure my child was safe and that he was delivered without harm. . I have been a patient of hers for 16 years and love her and her team. Thank you

Poor service and unprofessional. Please stay away

Dr. Salgado is very good at what she does. I have been a patient of hers for over 10 yrs and she delivered my youngest child. I would recommend her to anyone and all the staff seems very professional.

I've gone here for 4 years and Dr Salgado delivered both my kids. She and Dr Hibshman are my two favorites. She has some peculiarities where she looks down when talking, but she definitely listens and is great in delivery and in emergencies. She takes no flak and is a good knowledgeable OBGYN

I just spoke with costumer service agent, it's a woman, she didn't greet, didn't even provide her name, and her attitude was average. Definitely a negative experience. DONT EVEN BOTHER CALLING.

PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE!!! I had to pay for my examination which Dr. Sonia said was fully covered by my insurance. Dr. Selgado leaves something to be desired. She's less than helpful, not comforting, and her bedside manner leaves something to be desired. If you are new to the Physicians for Women practice, I recommend anyone but her.

I dont put 0 star because doesn't exist, but Im very disappointed with the service with dr salgado office, first of all she is very impersonally, she doesn't speak with patient, she enter to de room, say hi and then take the pap, thats all, I'm pregnant and she tell me nothing only congrats, she doesn't care if you have hipertension or not,if you take medication, nobody take my blood pressure, and then Dr. Salgado don't giveme the prescription ,I called to the office nurse say me that the prescription , should be do for my prymary doctor, wow , Im pregnant now I can't go to my primary doctor, I felt very bad,very sad, violated, is the worst experience in my life, I dont have words to describe how that make me feel. The staff are considerate and the doctors are professional. You cannot be shy and expect them to just tell you the answers to questions you never ask. Ask, and they will answer. They will consider the options for you, and best of all, they don't push products like some OBGYN clinics. Dr. Salgado is particularly a very cautious and well-rounded doctor to work with. She is personable, easy going, and warm. However, she provided a (serious) diagnosis without getting the final results.

I have been going to Dr. Salgado for five years and I haven't encountered any issues. There is a long wait time in the waiting room, but I feel that is normal for any doctors office. But otherwise, she and her nurses have always been attentive and answered all my questions. I read the reviews further down and I haven't run into any of those instances. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. My doctor was Sonia Salgado. First appointment went ok, even though, she did few exams on me which she said my insurance will cover, it never did and I end paying for them... Second appointment , she made me wait 15 minutes outside, inside her office 45 min. more. Why??? She wasn't ready, her assistant never found my medical records. That's the reason she gave me ... When the results of the tests she made on me came, and she told me I need more vitamin D.... I asked her what did she suggests me to get in order to have more vitamin D ? her answer was..."Google it". Can you believe a doctor answers like that??? She referred me to an specialist for my fibroids, I went there (they are pretty good), maybe the best thing she did. On the third appointment with her, when I asked her regarding my fibroids , her answer was...." we will see that later, is not important now, it's too early, plus I have other patients waiting for me outside", she was very rude. On top of that... she told me "next time ask more questions to the specialist, your insurance pays them a lot", like if she doesn't make enough money with me. DO NOT GO HERE! I went to this practice for my second child and it was OK and impersonal up until labor. In labor I went to L&D, Dr. Mcknight was on call but did not return my page. When I got there I was told by the nurse that I was only 2cm dialated and should go home. I told her I was already in terrible pain and could not go HOME. She said I was not in labor and should go HOME. The doctor did not show up. I refused so she called the Doc who told her I should then walk around L&D for 4 hours. Long story short the Dr. did not show up till 5 hours later when I was in excruciating pain and said I was 4cm dialated and she would put in an order for admission and an epidural, which did not happen for another 4hrs because I didn't have labs etc.... !!!! I am a new physician myself and generally understand the demands of this profession and doctors are humans too but in all my rounds in L&D I did not see anyone treated as horribly as I was and left screaming in pain for so many hours, not even at a clinic or county hospital for people with NO insurrance!! I had an amailzing Ob/Gyn with my first child so I didn't put much effort in finding a new doctor, I figured some things were standard of care... I definitively learnt my lesson the hard way!
