Dr. Sonia Ceballos

I am very impressed with Dr. Ceballos and her thourough explanations. This is my second visit with her and will be back next year. She answered all my questions and gave me treatment options. Great bedside manner.

Dr Sonia Ceballos 100% Recomended she is a good Dr, she have a good team and when you go to her ste you feel in your own house and the good hands. She is really professional and smart. Thanks for all the good job with my 2nd Baby and my surgery.

Dr. Ceballos is very knowledgeable. She takes the time to listen to concerns. She also gives you an education to help understand your body. She evaluates, gives options and helps you make choices.

It’s been 5 days since my visit, and my birth control prescription still hasn’t been sent to the pharmacy. I’m so frustrated. She’s impossible to contact post appointment and does not respond to messages. Do not recommend.

I only seen her like 4 times threw out my whole pregnancy she would send me to someone else for some of my appointments. She also does NOT deliver your baby, she only does c sections. Her crew that did try and deliver my baby sucked and we’re inexperienced. I landed up getting a emergency c section n was in the hospital for 5 days at Mountain View (walking distance from her office) not once did she call or come and check on me the way she said due to my complications during labor. She’s always on “vacation” or never there, she’s not very informative either just quick in and out type of dr who doesn’t really care. I won’t be back to her or that hospital for my second baby. Dr. Ceballos performed a robotic hysterectomy on me in 2013. I almost died. I had to have emergency surgery 7 days later because I had an infection and was bleeding internally. I was in the hospital for 8 days and she did not come to check on me one time and never called to check on me after I was released. If I had not insisted on her checking my sutures after my initial surgery I would be dead. Please beware. Dr. Ceballos performed a robotic hysterectomy on me in 2013. I almost died. Absolutely terrible. Inserted my birth control incorrectly, no other doctor will touch it. Drove 4 hours from California to get it taken out, went to the wrong building because I googled her and the wrong address was listed. By the time I found the correct building and made it into the office I was 6 minutes late, the lady at the front was short and rude when I explained to her the mix up. She checked me in then I sat and waited. About 10 minutes passed and she said she said she can't see you because you were late. I said I understand but as I explained her the info is incorrect when you search the doctor. She said well it's updated on our system you should have called. Which I did and couldn't get through to a person. As a single mom this made for a terrible day, I had to take off work, get a sitter because they don't allow anyone in with you, drive 4 hours one way because 5 other doctors in California won't touch it. Generally i had a good experience at my visit with Dr Ceballos, didn’t wait too long , 30 minutes, it was my first time with her and went for general pap test/ exam , she was nice and the most gentle Dr i ever been to, she seemed to have good personality, and i liked her, the only think that can be improved is that she seemed a little rushed, and didn’t do a manual breast exam,and rushing out, which usually OB/GYN‘s do when you go for a test. If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT GO TO SONIA CEBALLOS, especially if you need to have surgery. Without getting in detail she is awful. Her bedside manner is terrible and her ability to perform surgery adequately and efficiently is selective. I definitely feel she abuses her power as a physician and intentionally misdiagnoses and under performs on her patients. HER LICENSE NEEDS TO BE REVOKED! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!!! She is the worst gynecologist I’ve ever been too! She should NOT be a doctor!! Do your research before you go to her. I felt the whole process was rushed Uninformative and what I explained to her was wrong in her eyes. That was my worst doctor experience ever!! All of the information from my check up took forever to come and I still haven’t received more of my results after two months. Well Dr. Ceballos is a good Ginecologist but the whole personal experience I had was horrendous. The whole staff lacks of customer service skills from the front office, nurses, office manager and specially THE REFERRAL DEPARTMENT is the worst they don't communicate with patients they actually don't care about patients. They think patients can wait whatever time they decided they think they are entitled to do whatever they want. Not recommended at all. Steinberg Diagnostic is the same really bad experience. Worst customer service I did not get a chance to see Doctor ceballos The receptionist Stephanie told us that No Kids were allowed in And a minute later, a lady enter the waiting Lobby with a kid and she was allowed in We noticed that and we asked Stephanie and she told us that some appointments require the kid in and some like us don't require the kids in. I recently switched over to Dr. Sonia and had a good experience with her, and like her. This review is purely on her office staff attitudes and follow through with patients. I was referred out for some imaging and diagnostic testing to be done last month. I had to fight the office staff to get my referral information to schedule my “stat” appointment at Steinberg. No one is on the same page here. When leaving my appt I was told someone would call me to let me know which imaging place the referral was setup with. No one called...when I called (Jennifer I believe) was shockingly rude to me for no reason and told me I had to wait to get the referral in the mail and refused to help me even though I told her it was ordered STAT. I called back the next day and was able to get my answer from someone else. Fast forward to my diagnostic testing. Results were available online with Steinberg in 72hrs, so I’ve seen what they determined, but no one from Dr. Sonia’s office has contacted me(almost a month later now) to explain if there is a next step and what that looks like. I called a week and a half ago and requested to speak to an MA and yet again...no return call. I wanted to switch to seeing Dr. Sonia as my old practitioner has left Centennial and now I honestly don’t know if I want to give business to them. Dr. Ceballos is amazing, she always makes me feel comfortable and ensures that I understand all the info. She is super humble, caring, and takes the time to listen to me. Everyone in this office is very attentive and patient.

I really loved my first visit with Dr. Ceballos. She was very down to earth and genuine. I felt like I had ample time to ask any questions that I had. She gave me clear answers and honest to those questions. Most of all, I appreciated that I never felt judged by Dr. Ceballos. I really felt like she had my best interests at heart.

She’s nice, but i only seen her like 4 times threw out my whole pregnancy. She would schedule me with Nancy more then her.. I honestly learned more from google then I did from her. She also does NOT deliver your baby, she only does c sections. I don’t recommend her if you plan on wanting your dr to deliver your baby. She told me I was able to have my baby naturally knowing I was having a big baby and I’m little.. the dr in the hospital told me there was no way I was able to push him out, so I landed up getting rushed for emergency c section. I was in the hospital for 6 days at Mountain View my baby was in NICU, not once did she ask or check up on me when I was recovering (her office is walking distance from hospital) She’s nice and all but I won’t be going to her for my next baby.

I've been with Dr. Ceballos for almost 10 years now. She delivered my son in 2011 and was amazing with me.Even came to visit the next day to check in on me. I will follow her anywhere she goes. She has always taken her time to talk with me in appointments and ask about the family every time. She is a Mother of twins and knows all about it. She always has the best advise! I love and adore her. Now that she is not in labor and delivery all hours of the day, appointments are always on time.

I have always experienced a professional and caring person in Dr. Ceballos. Fully ready to talk about what is on your mind. Been going to her for about 5 years.

Dr. Ceballos is a rare gem in the medical profession! She is very compassionate and has delivered both my girls, one by c-section. She helped me through my high risk pregnancies and I would recommend her to anyone.

Will schedule your for surgery then change it the day of because she doesn't like doing afternoon csections.

Worst care ever almost killed me!!!! Cut my bowl and didn’t even know it!! Had to go to there hospital for emergency surgery!!!! Be aware

Don't trust her. Works with CPS trying to adopt out newborns. Very friendly but that's fake. Just find another Dr.

Dr. Ceballos has delivered both my girls, one by c-section. She is a wonderful, caring doctor and made my whole pregnancy experience easier by always being available to answer questions or calm my fears. Would highly recommend her!

I was referred to Dr Ceballos in 2012 by my sister when I started experiencing severe menstruation issues which ended up in having to have a hysterectomy. The procedure went well and was home the same afternoon. Dr Ceballos is always willing to answer all my questions and despite her busy schedule is never in a hurry to rush me out the door. I wish she was my primary doctor and regularly refer her to anyone I know who is looking for a trusted ob/gyn.

She is amazing, she delivered 2 of my babies. Best ob/gyn!

SHE IS NOT EMPATHETIC AT ALL. When I went back to see her she made me feel like I was not important. The facial expressions she made were also evident that she did not care what I was saying & could not wait until it was her turn to speak. All the doctors I've ever had were very concerned & empathetic to how I was feeling. She bragged by saying "The reason she's booked until November is because shes very empathetic!" Wow! I guess that made her feel better!!
