Dr. Singaraju Katari

Been taking my children to Dr. Katari since they were babies. No complaints at all. He doesn't sugar coat, very blunt and thats what is really needed. Terrible TERRIBLE doctor. He hit my 18 year old sister with a folder, then yelled at her because she didn't know the answer to a question. Then he tried to force her to get a flu shot, after she refused multiple times. Luckily a nurse decided to listen to her. Terrible doctor.

Been going for a couple years now. He doesn't sugar coat anything. He tells you his expert opinion about your life style that can be effecting your health. The nurses have always been professional & sweet to my children.

We we're asked to get a test done at discharge for our newborn. We made the appointment and were going to get the test done. Katari came in looked at the baby, visually, and said there's no need for the bilirubin test and refused to do the test. This is not something that can be visually seen due to it being borderline, but only checked by the test which was borderline high when we left the hospital. Now I'm left not knowing if my daughter is safe because a Livingston doctor believes he knows more than Memorial Hermann in downtown Houston, one of the nation's top rated hospitals. He was very condescending and rude. However condescending and rude he was he was no comparison to his staff being rude. Update: Now, I'm back at Memorial Hermann, less than 48hours later, with my daughter being admitted due to her bilirubin levels being too high. Katari, you need to do better. If i could give 0 stars i would! Today 6/11/19 i took my son in to see doctor Katari due to running a high fever all night and throwing up. Not only is jessica rude, When Doctor Katari came in he tells me my son looks fine (because he was playing) and just do the saline spray up the nose. So i took him to the hospital because i knew i was not getting anywhere with Doctor Katari And my son has 2 ear infections & a very bad upper respiratory infection and Fluid on his lungs! Best doctor in the town...

Absolutely love this dr office.

He's been my daughter's pediatrician for 4 years now and is now my newborn sons as well. The only negative thing I have to say is that he's a little hard to understand sometimes. Overall though he is the best doctor for any children that I've came across! When my kids are sick or my son's in and out of the hospital having issues, it doesn't matter if the office is closed already or not. Dr katari will still call and check up on your babies and make sure that they are good! I've never seen a doctor do this before! And if your baby can be treated from home instead of the emergency room or NICU then Dr katari tries to get you what machines you may need if they're covered by youryinsurance. He believes that a baby is best with its momma at home rather than a hospital full of more germs! I'd recommend him to anyone in the area! Veronica needs to learn how to answer the phone. Everytime iIcall up there no answer. It's so unprofessional.

Today was the first time I have ever had a rude experience at this office. I am totally not happy with customer service. When you work at a place like that you do not treat customers like you own the place and snap at them under no circumstances. If it wasn't for the customers, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE A JOB!!!. I felt it was a miscommunication between us during the conversation which I tried to tell her that. I even apologized to her, but don't think she received it cause I heard it all in her tone. I've taken my children to Dr. katari for a little over two years now. He is a very good doctor. You're wait time is minimal. They also have a nurse practitioner up there who is excellent as well. And the ladies at the front desk learn you by name and face and make you feel like family.

Today was my kids last visit to this Doctor. The new girl up front is not friendly at all. Dr. Katari had my daughter ready to cry over her weight she's a tall kid and definitely not overweight. He has no idea how to communicate with teenagers everytime he asked a question she answered it honestly and all he kept saying was that's not good enough. He also needs to learn boundaries yelling at a parent because they buy juice and sodas to have in their homes is way out of line. So way to go Dr. Katari you lost not one but two patients today and FYI you may want to brush up on your skills as a pediatrician because in all honesty you are by far the worst one my kids have ever seen.
