Throughout this process I was treated with positivity and respect by the the staff. This was a scary time for me and I was counselled and made comfortable by Dr. Shridharani's kind demeanor.

As soon as Dr. Shridharani and his staff took over my care I felt that I was with the perfect group. My pain was manageable finally. Everyone was professional. They all worked well as a team providing everything that I needed throughout my surgery and recovery. All my questions were answered without judgement. I’m happy that my nerve pain was gone completely after surgery.

I liked the fact that he is very to the point. If he can help you, he'll tell you. If he can't, he'll also tell you. Pre-surgery I found him to explain everything in great detail as did the nurse. He went over my MRI section by section and in a very calm voice he explained the benefit of having the surgery. That, to me was priceless. Post-surgery, the nurses and the front office staff were awesome. Every one of them are Informative, compassionate, kind, and educated. I can't say enough about this office. I had a great surgery experience. Dr Shridharani is just the best in my opinion as he fixed my problem. I trust him fully.

Outstanding, wont go into details but had a old injury pushing on my spinal cord causing many symptoms. Dr Shridharani performed surgery 2 days later. He basically saved me!!!!, postponed other surgeries due to the nature of the injury. If you have back or neck problems please see this man he is amazing. Cari, Preston, James and all the staff at the office are also amazing and were always available to answer questions or concerns. Definitely 5 stars

He is phenomenal! Thank goodness he came to Olathe as he literally saved my life. Due to infection in my spine and discs, I had 2 fractures in my vertebrae, trapping my spinal cord. I was in so much pain and so sick. He took me to surgery, and although he said it pushed the limits of back surgery, and fixed everything so I now have a much better quality of life. Thank you, Dr Shridharani!!

When I came to Dr. Shridharani I could not walk or stand without intense back and leg pain. Dr. Shridharani’s diagnosis was very thorough as was his plan to surgically address my problems. Three months after surgery I was walking two miles a day without any pain, and I am now on my way to a full recovery. I had a complicated lower back surgery, as I was loosing the use of my leg and was in pain. Surgery went well. I am very glad I had it. I am better off just 3 months after surgery than before surgery and am in no pain. Dr. Shridharani explains everything well and the staff is great, too! I highly recommend Dr. Shridharani!!! Having low back spondylolisthesis at L5, I got a referral to Dr. Shyam M. Shridharani. Just had my 11-week follow-up with Dr. Shridharani and all is going as planned. Still pain-free and taking it easy for a few more months to let the great work done by Dr. Shridharani really heal before I start getting back to my sports activities. I would highly recommend Dr. Shridharani. All in all a great pain-free experience with great results.

When I found out I needed spine surgery we started searching online for the best reviews and found Dr. Shridharani. After our first visit we knew we had chosen the right Doctor, he was kind, informative and very confident (without being arrogant) in what the next steps would be for me. He explained everything thoroughly on what my surgery would entail and what my recovery would be like. I am now 3 months post op laminectomy/discectomy and feel great! I am walking and standing without any pain. He is a wonderful Doctor and I am very grateful to him.

Dr. Shridharani quite possibly saved me from being in a wheel chair the rest of my life. After being admitted to the ER in Tucson and being told I had a stroke, without any indicators of a stroke in numerous scans, I saw Dr. Shridharani who took one look at an x-ray of my neck and diagnosed the issue and my future without surgery. I recently had cervical spine surgery on April 14 and was better than I could expect. No pain, no numbness, no tingling and my walking is back to being normal and not compromised. The most exciting thing no one expected to come back was my left arm/hand strength nearly back to 100%. He was exceptionally trustworthy and very highly experienced spine surgeon and if I have to have another surgery I would still go back to him. His bedside manner is exceptional and very, very pleasant. He explains everything and he assured me all the time that I will be in good hands because I was very nervous. But he is always going to be my hero after being in pain for almost five years with my back. Now I am completely normal because he has given me my life back.

I was steered to Dr Shirdharanni by my cousin who was in the spinal business. He said that Dr Shirdharanni had some of the best hands he had ever seen. Having undergone multiple orthopedic surgeries in the past, I had expectations of pain levels and recovery issues. The pre-op exam, tests, scheduling, and check-in were all very professional, prompt, and handled with the utmost courtesy. The surgery (removal of 3 cervical disks, fusion of 4 vertebra) took 6 hours and was performed on July 3rd. I was moved to my room on July 4th, an was immediately able to swallow, breathe normally, and the pain was...non-existant. At no time since leaving the recovery room have I needed any pain medication. I realize every surgery is different, and people have differing pain thresholds. Dr. Shridharani saved the feeling and the use of my arms. He is absolutely a saint in my opinion and I would strongly recommend him to all. Dr. Shridharani is an excellent spine surgeon. He has successfully operated on me twice in the last year. On my cervical spine in the neck region and also on my lower back. After 10 years of misdiagnosis and severe pain, I finally have my live and mobility back. I highly recommend him.

At the age of 80 I had excruciating pain in my spine, as well as a heart problem. I had to decide which problem to address first, and realized I could hardly walk and needed the spine surgery first. It was successfully performed by Dr. Shridharani in June, 2018, and I realized as I started coming out of the anesthesia, the spine pain was totally gone. After six months I am 98% recovered from the surgical procedure and virtually pain free.

At 72 years old I was in excruciating pain 24 hours a day. Dr. Shridharani has been a consummate professional, patient, thorough, caring, a great listener and communicator. My back surgery was in September 2018 and when I woke up in recovery it was the first time I was without nerve pain. I’m well on my way to getting back my life, pain free. Dr. Shridharani operated on my neck after several surgeons in the area said there was nothing they could do. I had weakness in my arm and hand. BEYOND GRATEFUL!!! My husband had surgery on his neck 8 months ago. He had severe spinal cord compression and his arms and hands were weak. He was in severe pain and couldn't sleep or work. We were scared and our primary doctor referred us to him and said "He is the best there is." Dr. Shridharani performed surgery through the front of the neck and my husband is doing AMAZING! His pain & weakness are gone and we're back to traveling and bike rides. GREAT SURGEON and EXCELLENT BEDSIDE MANNER!!

Almost 3 years after c5-c7 fusion I finally decided to leave a review. The Dr made his mind after looking at MRI and did not want to pay attention to anything I was saying. He was highly recommended by another Dr whom I trusted. So I went for surgery. Did not feel right following surgery and all symptoms returned soon. Dr. Shridharani never admitted to any mistakes and blamed my imagination instead. very arrogant.

I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Shridharani's professionalism, bed side manner, and surgical skills. HIs diagnosis of my condition was spot on, he explained my problem concisely in language that I could understand, and he performed a flawless surgical procedure that solved my problems. He is an excellent Spine Surgeon. I had an ACDF on my C4-6. I have no pain, except wearing a collar for 3 months which is a necessary nuisance. I would recommend him and his staff highly. I had my surgery on Aug. 7th and only took a narcotic for 3 days.

Dr.Shridharani is very professional. He took great care of my back. It has been 4 year's since I was treated. Was able to wear brace and not have surgery. His staff is Wonderful. Thank you for taking time explaining my diagnosis. I am now able to teach Zumba...no back pain. !!

Dr. Shyam Shridharani has been more than a doctor to me. He really cares about his patients. He is professional, courteous, reliable, friendly, and intelligent. He is compassionate about his patients. In 2015 I had a cervical laminectomy with fusion and 2017 I had lower back surgery. I wasn't able to walk or do anything. Dr.Shridharani gave me my life back! Dr Shridharani is a kind, caring and compassionate surgeon. He operated on my neck and I'm doing extremely well. Prior to surgery I had debilitating pain, now I'm back to work and pain free. I would highly recommend him!

One of the most congenial doctors I have, He took one look at me and my records on Friday night and scheduled the operation immediately for Saturday morning saying it would not wait. He did an excellent job on the operation spots as the cancer was wrapped around my spine. I have complete confidence and faith in Dr Shridharani. From everything I have been able to find out he is one of the best in the country and my experience would prove that statement a big yes.

Dr.Shridharani preformed spinal fusion for my neck on 2/2/16. I am 71 years old and the condition was very serious. His ability to put me at ease, educate me to the procedure, and to make me feel confident in his abilities was excellent. I truly believe his ability allowed me to heal very well. The relief from the constant pain was immediate. I would recommend Dr. Shridharani to anyone who needs this delicate surgery.

I am a nurse at the hospital and hurt my back a few years ago. I had severe back pain and sciatica for several years. I had physical therapy, injections, and tried living with it. One of my nurse friends told me "You have to go see Dr. Shridharani--he's the very best. They call him the Doctor's Doctor." She couldn't have said it better. He performed surgery on me and I no longer have any pain. I'm back to work and I do things now that I had given up like hiking, jogging, and walking my dogs.

Words cannot express my gratitude!! My wife had severe pain and weakness in her legs for the last 4 years. We've seen countless surgeons and nobody could help her. He was our last hope. We got to the appointment an hour early and we happened to meet his other patients. One man flew in from the East Coast to have his neck surgery done 4 weeks and he was doing great! Long story short: my wife had surgery over 3 months ago and now walks 3-5 miles a day, dances, and does not take any pain pills.
