Knowledgeable, kind, and wonderful with our son! We also especially appreciate her thorough explanations.

Dr. Lerner is unlike any dr I have ever been to as an adult, let alone a pediatrician. She spend so much time with us and was so through, caring and knowledgeable. She explained my daughters condition to her in detail and ensured that her bloodwork numbers were optimal. I actually felt guilty for how much time she devoted to us! It was almost as shocking as having her answer her own phone! She genuinely seems like she cares for her patients and gives her undivided attention, indulging my deluge of questions. It felt like complete concierge medicine. She was accommodating and communicative and answered all my follow up questions. Highly recommend!! Dr. Lerner is a dedicated and kind doctor. She was able to communicate in an engaging and respectful way with my shy 8 year old. She answered all of our questions and provided additional information that was very reassuring. I highly recommend her. Update: we had a second appointment to discuss bloodwork results. Dr. Lerner was attentive and informative about the results and the next steps. She was able to educate us on the medical issues at hand, and to recommend a course of treatment. When I had a follow up question, she answered within minutes. We are already looking forward to seeing her again - I wish all medical professionals were as caring and communicative as she is. Dr. Lerner's newsletter "Endocrine Explained" is truly welcomed. For a physician to invest her own time and energy to explain complex concepts in an understandable way is nothing short of remarkable. I have shared these newsletters with parents who have greatly appreciated them. Thank you Dr. Lerner, for always being there for us!

Dr. Lerner was amazing with our daughter. Compassionate, spoke so clearly & explained everything in great detail but in a way we could understand it. Most importantly she was so thorough & professional. She’s a find.

Well she's never going to be my doctor because she is a specialist (I was looking for a general pediatrician) but she did 1- answer the phone herself when I called and 2- took the time to give me the names and info on a few other local pediatricians. I wish I found a regular pediatrician this helpful lol. So I don't know her but she seems great. Dr. Lerner is a very special person and a superb physician. Her care and thoroughness is a rare find these days and her ability to dig deep to find answers is unbelievable. She explained every aspect of our concerns in incredible detail and with such a caring manner. Dr. Lerner is simply a brilliant and kind person who deeply cares for her patients. She was absolutely wonderful She took her time and made sure to explain everything super clearly. Her bedside manner and interactions with my daughter were super warm and empathetic

Believe me when l say this lady is a God sent. My son was born premature, and due to his prematurity was hospitalized at Westchester Medical for almost 3 months because he was having issues regulating his own blood sugar. Upon release he was scheduled to follow up with Dr. Demore at Phelps Memorial Hospital. The office staff was a nightmare to deal with. Met with Dr Demore twice and l felt that my sons best interest was not her primary concern. Complains about side effects of medication went ignored. He needed to be weened off his medication, and l felt she was dragging her feet. I am not even going to get into the side effects of the medication l just knew l needed him off that poison. Stressed, feeling helpless with no where to turn l googled Endocrinologist and base on her stellar reviews scheduled an appointment with Dr. Lerner. On our first visit she met with us for over two hours going over the intricate details of my sons medical history. Man was she knowledgeable we left with a better understanding of our sons medical issues. She listened, answered questions and genuinely cared about her patients. I knew after that first visit that she was the help we needed. With the help of doctor Lerner we were able to ween my son off the medication. She was excellent at working in conjunction with his pediatrician to relay pertinent information. She readily available and excellent at returning phone calls. She was an overall pleasure to work with. The pediatrician was so impressed with her, they started sending her new patients. For anyone needing an endocrinologist, this lady is the best. Thanks to her my son is currently a happy, healthy, medication free 10 month old with no blood sugar issues. Believe me when l say this lady is a God sent. Dr. Lerner is an amazing clinician. She is a smart and intuitive endocrinologist and relates to children in an engaging way. She is also warm and communicative with parents and explains things in an understandable, nonthreatening way. She is simply outstanding.

Dr Lerner is the most impressive doctor I have ever seen in my entire life. She is just amazing with the kids, she is so kind, patient and caring. Honestly you have to see it to believe it. I don’t even know how to describe her in written words. She is so sensitive, compassionate, humorous and intelligent. Very rare these days to find a human being like this. We bring my daughter to her for a chromosomal condition. After visiting Dr Lerner, I wouldn’t trust my daughter in anybody else’s hands. She is the absolute tip of the top. Hands down the smartest most humane endocrinologist I've met after 11 years trying to cure my son. Dr. L validated what I believed in my gut (which was discounted/dismissed for years) that there is a T3 connection between mood and behavior. Dr.L is forging a new way to treat select hypothyroid kids who don't respond typically. In 10 years her work will become the norm and I am grateful she is helping cure my son and my family with groundbreaking work

Dr Lerner is so amazing she has become a life coach and such a role model to me . She was originally just my endocrinologist but now she is someone I can confide in with anything ! I appreciate her dedication and kindness she exhibits every appointment! She cares about the root of all issues and anyway that she can aid in finding a cure she is always there! Love her forever !
