Very welcoming place, I love it!

At Vernon Hill Location, the doctor never shows up, only assistants. Only thing they care about is get the money. My annual check up has no Co-pay, however they always finds a way to link it and make it look like a office visit as well so they can charge twice for the same visit and force me to pay the copay. Worst care ever! The will only see you for 20 min. You see the Dr., or in my case the PA for 10 of those, if that. (I never met my actually doctor. she couldn't be bothered to even introduce herself.) If you have more then one thing to discuss, they want you to make a separate appointment and pay a copay each time. The PA would change my medication and then not remember what she changed them to and get the dosage wrong. Or she would change them and then not both to update the prescription so that i would run out and have to jump through hoops to get them refilled and covered - this frequently involved have to call her again and have her write a ne prescription. Was sent to specialists for my knee, but did not send the supporting documentation to the Specialists and when he called to get it the copy he go was unreadable. He had to call back and once he finally got a clean copy, said there was nothing abnormal in the labs and there was no reason for me to be there. The tests he ran confirmed his statement. The staff would forget to send me things and id have to call and ask again even though the PA told them to send while I was standing there checking out. They would frequently call to remind me of the wrong visit type and I would have to correct them. An Example would be calling to remind me of an upcoming appointment about my knee when it was for diabetes labs. I never actually met Dr, Lodd in the year I went there. She never even took the time to introduce herself and i dealt solely with the PA. As for the claim that they only had 20 minutes and could only discuss one issue per appointment...the place was never busy or crowded when i was there leading me to feel they cared more about my copay than my health. I am grateful for the care they have provided to me over the years. Dr. Lodd is wonderful, the nurse practitioner is great too. She never makes you feel rushed and answers all questions.

I feel like I am in good hands. I feel heard and attended to in a caring way. The staff handles my requests and I always get call backs for my lab work. They take care of my overall health including when I am sick and when I need regular preventive visits. The nurse practitioner takes the time to listen to me despite the office being very busy. The doctor did a great job with my health exam. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. She was also kind and friendly. All of the staff was great – they were helpful, and helped with my insurance as well.

My annual gynecology exam and other medical and women's Heath needs are thoroughly addressed . They answer my questions. They also explain insurance related questions to me.

Horrible experience. Never met Dr. Lodd during the past year under her care..only dealt with the PA who only saw me for 10 minutes and wanted to make a different appointment for each issues despite the fact that the office was never busy. The staff frequently screwed up my appointment reasons and would call to tell me to fast for an appointment of my knee etc. The PA would change my diabetic meds but never update the prescriptions so I would frequently run out before the insurance would cover a refill. The pharmacy couldn't even help me because she never updated the prescription. The last one which caused me to finally sever ties was one of my diabetic med. She doubled it cutting my 90 day supply to 45 and then because she didn't bother to write a new script the insurance turned to my refill request and i am now out. they care more about the health of my wallet than me. DO NOT GO HERE!!! this is the worst care ive received in my life.

The nurse practitioner is great. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Starting with the receptionist , who was so patient , right up to the nurses and the nurse practitioner, everyone was very kind. I will continue my care here.

This office goes above and beyond to take care of their patients. They remind you of your appointments, advise you about your benefits and actually have a human being call with blood results. Although they have secure online messaging, they take the time to call and discuss any questions you may have with the nurse. Personal touch an good care, I recommend them. Susan

They don't listen and belittle everything you tell them. Maybe this tactic makes them feel justified when they don't give you answers or tell you everything is 'in your head'. There are condescending attitudes among the staff. You get a smirk if you share a concern. I gave them a few tries which was a few tries too many.

Absolutely disappointed the way other Doctor from her Team examined my wife. They are not expert & experience in what they do & couldn't answer our questions. Surprising thing is front desk collected entire fees on same day in advance... This is frustrating and annoying me. No where in USA Doctor collects entire fees in advance. Even if i have insurance they collected fees with no service.

Extremely trustworthy and willing to listen. Takes good time.

Copay....copay... Copay.....Front desk is only intrested in copay.. Rules are different here ..if doctors talks to you or you just say that you had a headache or sore throat last week you will default eligible for paying copay even if your insurance company cover your annual check up.

My family has always been treated very well by the staff and the doctors. They genuinely want to help you. They simplify and explain to us not only our health issues but also our insurance coverage. This is rarely seen in today's healthcare and we appreciate this. I highly recommend them.

Trying all possible options to collect copay for annual checkup (which is fully covered by insurance) and office is giving unrealistic reasons.suggesting unnecessary tests and follow-up

An excellent practitioner, great office staff and easy to reach location. Dr. Lodd treated my mother-in-law after she had moved to the suburbs. The fact that she requires you to come in before renewing meds is great medical care, not revenue generating. I began seeing her 5 years ago and have great experiences with her and her PA, Annette. Their focus of prevention in health care is important as a patient and you will be very pleased with Dr. Lodd and Annette.

Where to start with "Dr." Lodd. She's rude with no bedside manner. She makes you come in for visits just for medicine or a reference so that she can collect your money. You might not even see her, more likely you see her assistant. Take it from me and steer clear of this pain. She seriously is the worst. And her staff are hard to work with and extremely rude.

A money hungry doctor. All concern is how much money they made. Rebilling already paid bill. Pushing to schedule unnecessary appointment. Stay away.

Careful listening, good knowledge and good at explaining. i am her patient for 10 years and she has taken excellent care of my health. Despite her appointments being full and her limited time availability, she takes time with me and addresses my concerns appropriately and completely.

Safety and care are what they most care about. With my previous doctor, the nurse just called in prescriptions for a year. No one cared about side effects, effects, blood or lab work or regular follow ups. It is all very different here. Dr. Lodd follows up on all medications, knows and reviews side effects. If phone prescription refills is all you want, she will not fit your liking.. If thorough medical care and careful follow up is what you desire, she is the best.

Stay away from this doctor. They will put you through a bunch of unnecessary tests. The office never returns phone calls either. I was asked to come pick up my prescription (based on the medication they can't call it in) and when I got there they wanted me to see the doctor and charged me a co-pay. When I got in to see the doctor she basically just wrote the prescription in front of me and I was on my way. Most importantly you have to hunt them down in order to get your prescriptions filled

I am new to the practice but overall good experience. Will definitely recommend to my friends. I already have the rest of my family seeing her.

Very considerate of their patients, small office without the hassles of a big system. I have been with her for 5 years and her PA is also great.

Slightly long wait in the waiting room but great care from the doctor. Very professional. Answered all my questions.
