My daughter has a very rare disease. Dr. Tawfik not only had heard of it, but made recommendations and set a course of action based on the nuances of her disease. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind and breaks things down if you don't speak medical.

Dr Tawfik has cared for my daughter for nine years, through management of and a second surgery for her Tetralogy of Fallot. (The initial surgery was performed in an Asian country a year after her birth and before her adoption.) He is thorough and sensitive and we trust him completely. His front office staff leaves much to be desired however. They can be brusque and rude. They are immature in the way they interact with adults, giggling and rolling their eyes when a complaint is delivered.

Dr Tawfik has been absolutely amazing. He was able to help our daughter by figuring out her heart issue immediately and we had been seeing other cardio drs for almost a year with no answers. I absolutely recommend him to other parents. We drive 2hrs for our daughter to see him but totally worth the drive :).
