My visit was at 10:15 and I was taken in for tests at that time. I was finished with my visit in less than an hour. Very efficient staff and very personable. Dr. Day is an excellent doctor and so sweet.

I have been a patient of Dr Day since 2016, when I got diagnosed with cancer in my left eye. She saved my eye and does monthly injections to continue to save my eye. She is absolutely amazing and the nicest and kindest doctor I have ever had. Anyone that sticks a needle in my eye and I trust must be amazing. The other plus is her husband is my oncologist. Even my doctor that did my cataract surgery said I am extremely lucky that Dr Day is in Austin because she is the best at what she does. Thank you Dr Day!!!!

I had been a patient at Austin Retina almost seven years ago, so this was my first time back in a while. It was also my first visit to the 38th Street location. The staff here were wonderful. My visit to a retina specialist usually means I will have laser treatments, so I was grateful that the office specialists and the staff were friendly, it really does help ease those nerves. I was a patient of Dr. Day for this round of treatments, and my experience with her was not necessarily negative, but it was not the most positive. As far as the laser treatment she did a great job. The procedure itself was painful. She kind of kept going and I had to ask her to stop. This is not my first laser treatment, I’ve had both eyes done several times for larger retinal tears, so this small one should not have hurt as much as it did. There may be other reasons why it hurt as much as it did, but I’m not aware of the reasons. Dr. Day’s bedside manner is still developing, I believe, and hopefully she will be more empathetic with her patients in the future. The way I described it to my family was that I wish she would understand that there’s a person attached to that eyeball she’s examining and treating. So I will definitely go back to Austin Retina for future treatments, but I’ll probably ask for a different specialist. I've been seeing Dr Day for several years now and every interaction I've had with her have been exceptional from laser surgery to simple follow up exams. She takes the time to explain everything. Would highly recommend.

Most efficient office I have ever seen, totally astounded how quickly we moved from 1 work area to another, all staff totally prepared, yet it seemed unhurried with total concern for the patient.. Dr Day-G is so great. I had some key questions about some meds, Dr Day- G answered each concern clearsrly and patiently, a consummate professional in every way. On t he other hand, this survey was annoyingly hard to input or correct, so I know Dr Day had nothing to do with it! I struggled through just because she is the best example I can think of how s Dr should run her office and how to interact with patients.

Dr. Day was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, extremely professional and took the time to answer all of my questions. She went the extra mile to be sure there were no complications after my eye surgery. The entire office staff were friendly and the wait was minimal.

Excellent care. Superb Dr. Day. Great care of her patients.

Dr Day Ghafoori is a wonderful doctor. She was thorough in helping my 15 year old daughter with her cyst in her eye.

The proposition of eye surgery is a little scary, but I can say the experience and outcome exceeded my expectations. Shelley Day Ghafoori M.D. was excellent. She was competent, compassionate, and communicated well.

Dr Ghafoori is excellent. It’s clear she knows her medicine. She answers all questions posed to her in a logical succinct way. I enjoy seeing her every 6 months. Highly recommended.

Very professional and helpful staff. They have a great system that always works out. Natalie was so awesome, not to mention Dr. Day.

Do not have to wait. Everone knows what needs to be done and goes about it with a smile.

Doctor day is very efficient comes in does IT job, very pleasant. The staff is very efficient moving me through the process I appreciate it.

Everyone at Austin Reyna is very nice, courteous, personable, and helpful. I have never had a bad experience. Dr.,Dat is wonderful! She is so very sweet and personable and of course professional. I would highly recommend Austin Reyna and Dr Day to anyone without hesitation.

When I went in for my annual appointment, Dr Day saved my eye sight with efficient diagnosis and action to stabilize wet macular degeneration that showed up on the routine photos the technicians took. She always listens to my questions and concerns and takes the time to answer them, and her quiet efficiency inspires trust.

The practice itself is the ultimate in efficiency without cutting corners in courtesy or thoroughness. Everyone is polite, friendly, and has their part in the big picture completely under control. Dr. Day Ghafoori has consistently taken care during my "eyeball shots" and answered any questions I had. Thanks to her reporting to me any progress I've made, I'm now going every 7 weeks, instead of every 6. She says I'm improving! Yay!

I believe Dr. Ghafoori is a very good physician; however she spent very little time with me yesterday at my appointment. She was probably with me at most 1 minute and it would have probably been less if I hadn’t asked her a couple of questions. She needs to be more interactive with her patients, not just come in, do her exam and leave quickly without saying much.

Dr Day is the best eye injector I have ever experienced. And I received shots from a lot of them, as I participated in a clinical trial.

The entire staff lead by Dr. Ghafoori we're so nice and treated my husband and I like royalty. Dr. Ghafoori is very intelligent and explained my situation where I could understand. Very patient and kind. Thank you all so much. My first time was well appreciated.

I have been impressed with Dr Day Ghafoori since my very first visit in 2020. Very efficient and professional. Choroidal melanoma is a scary thing to have. I am almost two years out from my plaque procedure and am far above where I expected to be. I feel like she under promised and over delivered.

She does a very thorough exam and explains well. She used an eye model and pictures of my eye to show me the comparison of normal eye and my eye issues. Also provided a paper for me to understand as well.

Dr. Day is a true professional that takes the time to answer any questions and provides answers that are easily understood. Her office has many other Drs. and at times can seem rushed but she is always pleasant and efficient.
