I have been a patient of Dr. Lewis for over 12 years. He has been attentive to my illnesses and medical concerns. I was highly recommend him as a family doctor for anyone who needs a caring and concerned physician. His staff is very friendly.

I was recently referred to Dr. Lewis when my previous doctor of 45 years retired. I was very close to my former doctor and therefore was devastated when I had to find a new one. A friend recommended Dr. Lewis and I am so happy that she did! Those feeling of despair and sadness were quickly dissolved. He is very similar to my previous doctor—takes time with each patient; thoroughly explains everything; kind; knowledgeable; and overall caring towards his patients. I feel like I’m still with my old doctor. I can not express how big of a heart this doctor has towards his patients. If you do not give Dr Lewis a chance, you are really missing out on a caring, smart, gentle doctor!! Make your appointment. Your body will thank you!

Dr Lewis is best doctor in town! Very caring and cares about his patients and takes his time listens!! Highly recommend... been seeing him for over 15 yrs.. ????????????????????????????????

I have been a patient of Dr. Lewis’ for about 8 years. I recommend everyone I know to him. My mother, step- father, best friend, and boyfriend are all now his patients. Dr. Lewis extremely knowledgeable and personable. He has helped me through so many health issues, both physically and mentally. I will never see another GP until he retires, and I will keep referring him. He is a great doctor and a great human, and I am better for knowing him.

I have been with Dr. Lewis since he began practicing in NWI. He is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate and caring.

I was recommended to Dr Lewis. Had been patient for a few years nothing long term. Dr Lewis was very knowledgeable, professional, cool down to earth. Not sure with covid-19 and pandemic when rules change and not communicated. I really don’t appreciate the care I have received as if I have outstanding balance or not ever paid my visits in full. I am a pediatric nurse , I am very aware of e-visits, telephone, telemedicine, etc, I also expected to be informed so I could have made the decision. I am a cash patient because I prefer my physician to dictate my care not what an insurance criteria

I believe I have been with Dr. Lewis about 20 years. He is a great doctor.

Dr. Lewis immediately identified my spinal deformity and referred me to a spinal specialist, something in which in the 16 years since diagnosed had been brushed off by previous doctors. He also let my fiancé know about his high blood pressure and how possible it was that he had sleep apnea and sent him to a sleep specialist. Sure enough, he has sleep apnea. I’d recommend anyone to him. He may be crass and straight to the point, but I believe this is an admirable trait in a doctor. I’m really glad we found him. Initially after reading the reviews, I was apprehensive about seeing Dr. Lewis. Nonetheless, I recently was seen by Dr. Lewis and I was thoroughly impressed with his bedside manners. He's one of the best providers I've ever seen and he'll be my PCP until he retires. He was thoughtful, caring, and I appreciate the fact that he wanted to know about me. I saw Dr. Lewis for the first time today. After having another doctor for 15 yrs I was very nervous about seeing him. I am SO thankful that I found him. He is extremely nice, with a sense of humor. He did a thorough exam and was so easy to talk to. His nurses and the receptionist are so nice also. LOVE him!!!

Terrible Dr.and office staff! Moved my mother into a memory care facility and he refused to sign the paperwork and fax it to the memory care facility! My mother has been there two weeks today and still have not received the paperwork! He told me my mother was ready for hospice and he sits on the Board of Directors for a hospice group. I had that company And another one come out and they both said my mother is not anywhere near ready for hospice yet! It appears when there’s nothing else he can really do for you he just writes you off! Not to mention the time you spend in his waiting room is unbelievable to do to people. I have been a patient of Dr. Sheldon Lewis at Highland Medical Center for many years. He is a good listener and takes very good care of patients. Communication with other doctors has been valuable in my care.

Dr. Lewis is a very awesome doctor and takes good care of all my family. My mom is 83 years old and he takes such great care of her. I would recommend him to everyone. He explains and take his time.

He is an AMAZING doctor...I just love his professionalism and bedside manner.

One of they best Dr’s in NWI. I have been seeing him for 5 yrs now. He is knowledgeable and compassionate! Always able to get in the same day I call if I’m Ill.

Dr. Lewis is one of the best doctors I know. I refer so many people to him and they all love how he is so thorough, attentive and patient with them. I haven't had anyone complain yet.

Dr Lewis is a fantastic doctor! Very thorough. He is straight to the point. It's Just the staff he has working for him that can be very rude. A family member stopped seeing him due to the rudeness of his staff. Don't get me wrong there is one lovely young girl there that I wish her politeness would rub off on the phone girl and the rest of the rude ones. Truly considering a new doctor search. Dr. Lewis doesn't understand how many patients he is losing due to his staff's attitude. Such a shame.

Dr. Sheldon Lewis is not only a very caring, compassionate healthcare professional but, extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He leaves no stone un-turned when he examines you which is very important! He spends time talking with you to gather pertinent information necessary to make a sound diagnosis. Dr. Lewis never rushes through treating his patients which is also important. I trust him with my life and would recommend him to everyone I know!
