Dr. Thomas and staff were professional, friendly and efficient.

Went to your office for regular eye exam. Staff was extremely courteous and professional. Staff greeted me up entrance into the office and I was brought into the examination room shortly thereafter. Dr Thomas was very thorough and explained everything during his exam. I can definitely SEE myself using your practice again and recommending your office to anyone looking for eye care.

Thorough and everything is explained so well.

As always, the staff and clerical were polite, and efficient. The examination was swift and seemed thorough, and the Dr. Was informative, and encouraging. A pleasant experience.

I first went to some quack who gave me THREE wrong prescriptions (with no apologies). My insurance company said that because he was already paid for his services I would have to wait a year before I could get another exam by a different doctor. I USED THAT YEAR TO DO MORE RESEARCH AND FINDING DR. SHAWN THOMAS WAS WORTH THE WAIT. HE GAVE ME A PRESCRIPTION THAT WAS WAAAYY DIFFERENT FROM WHAT THAT ORIGINAL GUY GAVE. HAVING JUST PICKED UP MY NEW GLASSES WITH DR. THOMAS' PRESCRIPTION, I'M THRILLED TO REPORT THAT I CAN SEE BETTER THAN I HAVE IN YEARS. He was kind. He was patient. He was engaging. Dr Thomas has been my doctor at least 8 years. I was very fortunate to have found him. Dr Thomas and his staff are professional and friendly. I have an autoimmune that affects my eyes and I have been beyond pleased with the care that I have received over the years. I have been a patient of Dr. Shawn Thomas for more than 3 years. But after this last follow up visit I decided it is time to move on because of Dr. Thomas’ unprofessional and sarcastic attitude. This is still COVID time. I was reminded through text reminders and email that I must wear a mask and follow COVID protocol when coming to my appointment. I wore a decorative, beaded mask over a KN95 mask when entering the office and used their hand sanitizer as instructed. Dr. Thomas greeted me in the operatory wearing his mask under his nose. He instructed me to rest my chin on the equipment with my forehead against the bar while he looked through the other end at approximately 18 inches away. I asked Dr. Thomas to please cover his nose with his own mask. He said that if he did he would be unable to do his job. I explained that I was scheduled for major surgery in less than one week and could not afford to catch even a cold. He begrudgingly pulled his mask up. He then commented to me, “I’m sure your mask will save the world.” After he had me look up, down, to the right, to the left he turn toward his computer and said I see nothing. I was surprised because I was there for a follow up to a problem from several weeks ago. When I responded “You see nothing?” He said “Yes, I see nothing there because you would not let me do my job.” Then he commented, “I really don’t believe masks really do anything anyway.” At that point he was about to let me leave. I then said “Look, do what you have to to do your job.” Dr. Thomas then pulled his mask down and told me to rest my chin on the equipment, look up, down, right, left. Afterwards he informed his assistant to perform a scan of my eye and then showed me the problem. As a patient no one should feel that their health and well-being is at the mercy of the provided. And no one should be spoken to with sarcasm! I have been a patient of Dr. Shawn Thomas for more than 3 years. I enjoyed them & trust them completely, unfortunately I changed my insurance, although my insurance company assured me that this Dr takes my insurance, they don't & now I have to change providers , I hate to changed because I really trust their care, but I have to. I will miss you guys. ????

Best experience ever!!! I was greeted the moment I walked in the door. The staff is very professional and organized. The place is so clean and they sanitized everything between use. Loved the doctor! He has a great personality and explained my eye condition in detail. Will definitely recommend this doctor!

Dr. Thomas has been my eye doc for a long time. He worked for years with Dr Griffin at Griffin Eye Center, but Dr. Griffin is only doing surgery now. Dr. Thomas is a consummate professional with a great sense of humor, and makes his patients feel comfortable. His staff are awesome. Patricia and I feel safe with Dr. Thomas. Saw Dr. Thomas while vacationing d/t an eye infection. He and the staff at Griffin Eye Center were AWESOME! Very friendly, helpful & down to earth. I had an appointment scheduled immediately after I called.
