The staff care about you. You do get the best care.

Staff was friendly and Dr covered everything I needed to know.

I have had previous experience with Dr. Morrow on a surgical basis. I trust him, he has always explained in detail the procedure. My experience has been great and he will conduct surgical procedures on me in the future, a man I trust.

My visit today was quick. He resolved my problem. I would reccommend him.

Quick, friendly and knowledgeable. Suggested simple procedure to help years old ankle injury.

My experience was awesome, even though he wasn’t able to do what is needed, he was able to refer me to someone who can. His team was very pleasant and helpful. Will definitely recommend!!!

Dr. Murrow has a great personality and shows a genuine concern for your long term recovery and quality of life.

I am always satisfied with my treatment from Dr. Shawn Morrow. He always answers my questions and let’s me know I can always call if I can’t wait till the next appointment.

Caring, professional, and personable.

Dr Morrow is the best. He is always kind in the exam room. I believe he is genuinely concerned about his patients. He has performed surgery on me and my wife. We have always been better from his work. We and anyone to whom he provides his knowledge and skill to their betterment is fortunate to have him. A heart of gold and a person with kindness--so lucky to have him.

Phenomenal bedside manner. He is one of a kind!

Dr. Morrow was wonderful. He actually listened to what I had to say and came up with a game plan to help my situation. It was nice to be heard.

Dr Morrow was kind and professional and answered all my questions. Every member of his staff has been pleasant and compassionate as well as highly skilled. I recommend Dr Morrow and the professionals at Kansas Orthopedic to anyone in need of foot surgery.

I liked the Dr and the experience when I went in to actually have the surgery was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and made me feel not so anxious. I’ve been waiting to do this review because I wasn’t sure. There was an initial miscommunication between this clinic and my regular clinic when they did blood work. They blamed it on each other but they apparently needed an EKG which I didn’t get and I made the appt for blood work but had to reschedule (take more time off work) because they scheduled me what I thought was a Dr appt but no Dr. Very confusing and frustrating. After finagling to have this surgery at a certain time so I could get help (my husband works out of town so I’m alone) they called to tell me I needed an EKG or I couldn’t do it at all. I was out of state when I got the call, set to return the day before surgery. It was handled at the surgery center but I was already frustrated with the miscommunication. So now on the other side of this, I can still not walk right. Foot is still swollen and now the outside of it hurts and is swelling due to rolling it outwards trying to walk. It’s disturbingly “crunchy” with less ROM and pain distally from the surgery site. I called to ask some questions. Maybe I’m not doing proper ROM exercises. How long can I expect swelling etc. The recording tells us leaving more than one message can delay getting called back. I spoke with someone who said they would relay my concern. That was over 2 weeks ago. Nobody called me back. So no, I’m not very happy. I reached out to Dr Google to find out what I might expect. Maybe this is normal. If so, health care for individuals is in trouble. I just want to walk my dogs again and was not expecting this slow of a recovery. Dr. Morrow is a great doctor. He listens to your concerns and explains everything so you are not feeling stupid or still lost. He makes sure that you are comfortable with the treatment plan and what the next move will be.

I've been seeing Dr. Morrow for a year now. I am very pleased with my care and treatment. I have and do recommend Dr. Morrow and the whole staff at Kansas Orthopedoics. They're all caring great people! Can't say enough good!

Dr Morrow was absolutely fantastic. His reassuring manner made me feel extremely confident in his ability to fix my ankle. When my cortisone shot is no longer effective, he will be my surgeon for my ankle replacement.

3 YEARS AGO AN ORTHOPEDIC DR. WANTED TO FUSE MY LEFT ANKLE AS IT WAS WORN OUT. I FOUND DR MORROW WHO REPLACED MY LEFT ANKLE. TODAY IT'S BETTER THAN NEW. DURING THAT FOLLOWING 3 YEARS THE RIGHT ANKLE WORE OUT AND DR MORROW JUST LAST MONTH REPLACED IT AS WELL. SO FAR, ONCE AGAIN PERFECT RESULTS. HE HAS THE EXPERIENCE TO REPLACE ANKLES, WHICH IS SOMETHING MOST OTHER DOCTORS HAVEN'T DONE AS THE PROCEDURE IS SOMEWHAT NEW. HE IS ALSO A PRETTY NICE GUY. IF HE DOES A PROCEDURE ON YOU ON A FRIDAY, DON'T BE SURPRISED IF HE SHOWS UP TO CHECK ON YOU IN THE HOSPITAL THE NEXT DAY IN TENNIS SHORTS WHICH IS HIS DAY OFF. I RATE HIM 5 STARS GREAT.

Dr. Morrow never showed up for my appointment. His PA came into the room we waited in for 40 minutes. This was a total waste of our time. Not the first time we've been neglected!

Dr. Morrow and his staff have been outstanding taking such care and concern for their patients my foot looks amazing thank you for everything that you have done

He was very nice and told us what he would do and took the time to talk to us

He was observant from the first minute. Had ideas about what we needed to do moving forward to address issues. Seems very knowledgeable in trauma of the foot and ankle.

The staff is courteous and efficient. Dr. Morrow is great!

Good quick visit listens and tells you all your options

I had outstanding service from dr morrow and the entire staff ! I can’t thank dr morrow enough for being there at such a crucial time in my life when I needed to be heard and cared for ! He didn’t just address my injury with attentiveness but listened to me and got all necessary documentation submitted in a timely manner to my employer which was greatly appreciated so I could focus on healing ! Thank you !!!!

My visit went well. The wait was short. The staff, nurses and doctors are very caring. Thank you once again for GREAT care and all you do!

Have been under his care for a year for two ankle surgery's..he is the most understanding doctor I have had..he is super

Very kind and respectful staff. Medical assistants had great manner. Doctor was caring and concerned about my condition and needs. Facility was extremely clean and accessable.

My entire visit at KS Orthopedic Center was great. Every staff member I talked to was very friendly and the doctor was great.

Great staff all around. Very thorough.

great experience again working with Dr. on remedy of soreness in knee

It has been several years since Dr. Morrow took me on as an emergency patient for a broken lower leg; He was kind and helpful, and [no fault of his] after I threw a pulmonary embolism he came to me in Cardiac ICU to change my cast, lol. He also helped diagnose and refer me to have custom ankle splints made because I was born with no arches--that has been a true godsend in my life after over 65 years of dealing with the problems that has caused me orthopedically. Dr. Morrow has always been thoughtful and considerate. The last thing he has said to me was "if you have any concerns or worries, even if you think they might be silly, come and talk to me". This entire staff was friendly and professional and concerned ! I can’t rate it high enough truly ! Dr Morrow listened to me and explained everything as did his nurse and assistant. As a new patient I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and genuine care shown by Dr. Morrow and his staff. He was thorough in offering different options and explaining procedures and care. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Morrow is the best! He is down to Earth and really shows he cares about his patients.

They were so nice. Took really good care of me

Dr. Morrow is very respectful, kind and explains everything in terms i could understand and explains all avenues to try.

From making the appointment, checking in with the receptionist, taken to the examination room seeing Dr Morrow to scheduling the surgery…..EVERYONE went above and beyond.

Ruined my life. Had I never had my first surgery I would not live in constant pain. Thanks to Dr. Morrow’s mistakes I do live in constant pain. I had to seek a second surgeon simply to attempt to clean up the mess Dr. Morrow made of my leg. Unfortunately, the mess that was left has caused me to spend an exorbitant amount of money and leave us chasing our tail. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Terrible advise before, care during and after surgery. Avoid this doctor and place at all costs! My foot is now 10times worse than before the surgery. Drive to Tulsa or KC for care.

After three surgeries from him each time has caused more problems i went from limping to using one crutch and now i have too use two. All because i have no cartilage left in my ankle or thats what the first doctor told me, being work comp i felt i had no other choice than too do whatever they wanted. I still have the original problem plus more. Every appointment x-rays then sit in the room with my shoe off only too be told my foot looks good and theres nothing else he could do, i say whats wrong and try to explain the pain and am brushed off and told there's nothing more too do for a whole year he went back and looked at a CT scan that they were supposed to have but had evidently thrown away after six months so i had to go across town and get a copy to give to his staff and then he decided too do third surgery, after months of telling me there was nothing else he could do. I've been injured and in pain for three years i've had four surgeries in total the first not by him, and feel like i have not gotten anywhere but backwards. Im so ready to get back to work but unable to because i have too use crutches too walk along with meds. Im very unhappy and dissatisfied with the care or well lack of. Had first surgery in May 2020. Had to have a second surgery in September 2020. After months of complaining about a knot on the side of my second toe (after having first surgery), complaining of still having pain in the bottom of my foot, having three toes that still would not lay flat, knots on the bottom of my foot and not being able to wear a shoe after nearly a year I was dismissed as his patient in January 2021 due to “nothing more he could do... the bone is straight... my recommendation is you never have foot surgery again because obviously you do not tolerate it...” I consulted with a new doctor. The knot on the second toe is due to the pin being pulled too soon after first surgery and the bone shifting which now has to be redone and an implant put in. The knots are the heads of the 3/4 metatarsals that now have to be reconstructed (after already having surgery on the 3rd metatarsal). The toes not laying flat are due to failed second surgery and now have to have the same surgery again. Be prepared to be told your bones are straight when they are not. Be prepared to be told told you need to buy a $150 metatarsal pad and not to come back until you waste your money on something that will not fix failed procedures. Be prepared to be told yes after asking if you’re just going to spend the rest of your life in a flip flop. Be prepared for a year of your life to be wasted. Make sure you document your appointments because dictation will not match your appointment. Bedside manner is fabulous until you point out any issues or start asking questions.
