It was my four years first time getting fillings, they made her feel as comfortable as they can. They talked to her the whole time during the procedure and made it as best possible best first experience at the dentist as they can.

Great visit as always with Dr. Mcdevitt office. All the personnel are friendly and professional. Always feel like family!

Had an emergency, and my usual dentist was out of town. Dr. McDevitt squeezed me in the same day. So extremely grateful. Along with him, the staff was so kind and caring. Would absolutely recommend!!

I am always greeted warmly. When dental work is needed, Dr. McDevitt clearly outlines what the work entails and why. I feel I am receiving expert professional care by everyone in the office.

LOVE this dentist office. The whole staff is friendly. NO JUDGEMENT at all. They will give you headphones to listen to music, a pillow, blanket and a pillow for behind your knees!!!!! SO COMFY!! I love these guys and I HIGHLY recommend this Dental office!

Like most people, I’m not a huge fan of going to the dentist and have often times put it off over the years. I had a great experience my first time into Dr. McDevitt’s office. Everyone is extremely nice and helps to make you feel relaxed and welcome. I’m not even nervous for my follow-up appointments now which is a nice feeling.

I have been Shawn's client for more than 18 years and am very pleased with his care. The dental hygienists are also very professional and friendly.

My wife and I had not been to a dentist in years. We went in and got a cleaning and checkup. We were informed we both had several hundred dollars ($1800 on my wife alone)worth of work (only $900 covered by insurance), totaling $1700 BEYOND what my insurance would cover (my insurance was the best coverage available). We ended up not getting the work done as we moved away. Fast forward about 3 years. We had not been to the dentist again until now. My wife recently went to the dentist in my home state of Utah. The dentist took a look and said "Everything looks good just some staining in your deep grooves but no cavities". My wife asked about all the work she was supposed to have done previously. The dentist said, "maybe if it was a new dentist right out of school and might think stains are a bigger issue but they are a natural and safe occurrence with age." the only thing he recommended was maybe cleaning out the staining but it's not necessary (she's 31 now). He said the only thing he could possibly think was maybe some sealant over her deep grooves to preventatively prevent cavities but he said her teeth look really good and healthy. This also would have been a fraction of thr cost.... Dr Mcdevitt and his staff are LIARS and will do work you don't need done to put extra money in their pocket. DO NOT GO HERE. There is no excuse for being that wrong unless they are amateurs in which case you'd still not want to go here. Makes me wonder how many people they have conned. Absolutely love this dentist. Very polite and kind staff. Dr. McDevitt actually listened to my issues and address them immediately. I will never go to another dentist. This place is the BEST!!!

I saw Dr. McDevitt in 2015 for 2 appts: #1 appt: bonding by him, and #2 appt: cleaning w/ hygenist. #1 appt. bonding went well- no pain.. #2 appt. cleaning= Even w/ old records & no complaints, every indiv. tooth was xrayed, along w/ Panorex-which I felt was overkill. Also, I was asked to return for a seperate appointment to discuss cleaning results vs. discussing that day. I felt these 2 practices were a poor allocation of my health $ and my time.

I go way back to when Dr. Sahr owned the practice which was passed onto Dr. McDevitt. Jeannie, Vicki and Susan have been there as long as I have been going. Great place to have dental work done with great people working there that know what they are doing and do it well. I have never had a complaint about anything they do. It's an exceptional place to have your dental work done. The very nice hanging basket just out the big patient room window is an added bonus. Always look forward to making my appointments whether for regular checkups and teeth cleaning to fillings and crowns. The short lasting novacaine which they turned me onto during a visit some time ago has made the after affects of having cavities filled a 100% improvement over the long lasting novacaine that would keep my mouth and face numb for hours after leaving the dentist's office. Now when I leave the dentist's office after having my mouth numbed it's practically gone by the time I leave their office. Going to the dentist is not fun, so it is hard to give 4 stars, indicated that I liked it. I don't like it. The staff here, however, seem to understand that, and they try to make the experience as pleasant as possible. Everyone is very nice, friendly, helpful, understanding, and professional. The customer service I have experienced is top notch, and the actual dental work is much better than the work I received from my previous dentist. Dr. McDevitt and his staff provide professional care at a fair price. I used to feel anxiety when I had an appointment but now I look forward to relaxing in a massaging chair knowing I will feel no discomfort during the process.

I recently was in Dr. McDevitt's office to get a crown done on one of my back molars. Dr. McDevitt and his very capable staff put me totally at ease during the appointment. I am not afraid of needles, just not overly fond of having needles stuck in my mouth. The staff know this and does their best to make me comfortable. I am always given a blanket and even get bit of a massage from the dental chair. They are very gentle by first using a topical to numb the area on my gum before actually using the needle to inject the Novocaine. I was so at ease during the procedure listening to my classical music and breathing the nutritious oxide that I actually fell asleep. This is my fourth crown that Dr. McDevitt has done for me. I am totally satisfied with all four of them. I highly recommend Dr. McDevitt and his staff to anyone looking for a dentist in Yakima. Just finished my 1/2 yearly appointment with Dr. McDevitt's excellent team. They always make me feel comfortable and welcome. I've been coming to this office for 40+ years and (how does this happen?) they make seeing a dentist "not so bad". Everyone is very friendly from check in to check out.

I went in for two fillings and we greeted by the front office with smiles and accommodation. Gina came out to the waiting area to ask me to update my medical forms, didn't call me up to the desk. As always, Dr. McDevitt greeted me and ask how I was doing. I was made comfortable with a pillow and told if I got cold to let them know and they would give me a blanket. The procedure was a breeze and didn't take very long. I came for my yearly cleaning and I was greeted with smiles and hello's. Jeanie who works with insurance billing went out of her way to look up our Dental Policy to let me know what we had in our plan. It was a big help to have her do an estimate of what our Insurance would be paying and what our out of pocket would end up costing us. I have been going to this office for over 30 years and they have always been sooo friendly and so helpful in every way. Every time I go into this office I am treated like family! I recently went in for my yearly cleaning,as always, it was a great exsperience.
