Dr. A. is a wonderful, caring doctor. My husband developed a very serious infection due to a wound that would not heal after he had a very complicated ankle surgery & ended up at Banner Desert. Once she was on board my husband began to make real progress in healing. I reccomend her highly!

She is wonderful!!! She has been treating my husband, and always explains everything in terms that we can understand, has a great bedside manner, and gets things done in lightning speed! If I ever need an infection specialist, I want her to be my doctor!! Thank you Dr. Ameneni!!

My husband had spent three months from doctor to doctor trying to figure out what it was that was wrong with him. Dr. Ameneni took him under her wing and within three days she figured out what it was that he had. She did the research, contacted other doctors, contacted her professors, ran tests, etc. She did not rest until she knew what it was. It is because of her my husband is alive today. We need more doctors like her.

This doctor exhibits rare and uncommon care and compassion. The respect and dignity shown to my mother while under her care was unlike any that I have ever experienced. She treated my mother in a long term care facility, treatment was very difficult due to complications and side eve of the different drugs necessary to treat her antibiotic resistant virus. She worked closely with her peers to coordinate care, and made herself available to me anytime. I am confident that had any other doctor been assigned to my mother, she would not be alive today!
