I had a Tuesday evening appointment, and as others have warned, it was about 90 minutes after my nominal appointment time when I finally saw Dr. Pletcher. To my annoyance, several patients arrived after I did, but went in before me - they anticipated the delay and didn't bother coming in on time for their appointments which were presumably *scheduled* to be before mine. All that said, the staff was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Pletcher was professional, caring and explained things very well. So, a qualified recommendation - happy with my actual treatment, but annoyed at the poor scheduling and patient flow. Dr. Sharon Pletcher is not just a great doctor but a great person. She takes the time needed with each and every patient to make sure their needs are handled well. I highly recommend her to anyone needing her services.

Unprofessional with my 88 year old father. I thought doctors took an oaths to do no harm.

Tried to go to this doctor as a referral. Already knew that they did not answer or return phone calls because I had left messages, explaining that I was going to have to make special arrangements with my job to get in to see her. Did they have another time? No response. Went at my originally scheduled time. 20 cars in the parking lot- I thought she must belong to a staff of doctors. Nope. I walked into a waiting room crammed with bored looking people. Hadn't been sitting 5 minutes when the receptionist came out and announced that "Doctor is running more than 2 hours behind". Lots of groans. I was the first to get up and go to the desk to reschedule- but I won't be going back. What kind of individual care could I get? I dislike money-grubbing, mass-production type doctors. Tried to go to this doctor as a referral. The first visit with my 88 year old Dad...she was nearly 2 hours late. And we called ahead to make sure dad could go right in. Her bedside manner felt cold and a bit harsh to me. The second visit with my 88 year old Dad and the assisted living staff encountered once again a delay and apparently an unprofessionalism to the point that the person with Dad felt like she had to Get Dad Out of There...I thought there was an oath to do no harm...and not just medically. Upsetting beyond belief.

Personable doctor, but wait times for appointments are outrageous. I waited TWO HOURS for my scheduled appointment. While I sat there, and sat there, and sat there in their lobby, a couple of other would-be patients had to reschedule because they could no longer afford to wait the inordinate length of time past their scheduled appointments. Staff seemed indifferent about this; no call in advance to notify and no apology for the delay. There was even an acknowledgment that it's probably just best to schedule subsequent appointments first thing in the morning to avoid falling victim to what they seem to regard as routine delays. Personable, direct, educational, experienced, and hands-on, Dr Pletcher started me on a treatment plan and gave me suggestions for supplements to help me with my CIPN (chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy). Her office does peripheral nerve biopsies. Samples of Dr Comfort footwear and foot aids for sale on display. Everyone in the office was nice and very helpful - and they are all bird-watchers (bird decor)!
