Competent but nasty.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Patrick deliver both my son and daughter back in 2007 and then again in 2008. Dr. Patrick came highly recommended and I can tell you first hand that she not only lived up to her reputation but completely surpassed it in my book. Dr. Patrick is not only an exceptional doctor an absolutely amazing person! Since day 1 she was very kind, personable, and ALWAYS extremely professional. She made the experience for both myself and my husband a great one by answering all of our questions, and most importantly, by taking me through this process with such amazing skill and competency. My first pregnancy with my son was extremely long and got a little more complicated... My water broke, but after hours of being in labor, I stopped dilating at 9cm. At this point, I was close to the point where I would soon need a cesarean... Dr. Patrick evaluated the situation, weighed out the timing, and quickly induced me. All the while communicating with both me and my husband and reassuring us with such confidence and ease. The next thing I knew I had our healthy baby boy in my arms!!! I could see how other doctors might have made the decision to opt for cesarean, but Dr. Patrick handled the situation with such patience, care, and experience. Because I could see just how well she handled my pregnancy with our son's birth I could not have dreamed of having another doctor... SO we ended up driving all the way from CT (after we bought our house and moved from Hoboken, NJ), just so Dr. Patrick could deliver our 2nd baby. She then delivered our healthy baby girl soon after, which was honestly was the best labor ever (I didn’t even know that was possible..lol) if you can believe that!! Dr. Patrick made the whole experience such a positive one. Do you know how some people have a way of touching your life briefly yet so profoundly? Well, Dr. Patrick is definitely one of them in our lives, and we’re truly grateful for her. I would recommend Dr. Patrick without hesitation to anyone who wants to be in trusted hands. Compeyent but nasty and impatient. Poor office staff. Disorganized.

Have to concur with bad review. She is competent but really impatient. Puts her time ahead of her patients and has a foul nasty streak. I've heard that she is nasty to the residents and other physicians she trains. Just find a nicer person. She's not worth the emotional pain.

I DO NOT recommend Dr. Patrick at all! She is horrible, absolutely horrible. When I had my Cesarean that she coerced me into she yelled at me and said I’m the doctor, you’re the patient and we are doing things my way! I asked her to shut off the Pitocin when she augmented my labor without informed consent. My daughters heart rate would drop with it on but was fine with it off. I was 9cm dilated. She then told my ex husband, grandmother and mother that if we didn’t do a Cesarean me and my baby would die. It was a Sunday night and she wanted to go home. I have since gotten my records and talked to other doctors and each one has said I would have been ok with the Pitocin off. She is fear mongering and should not be practicing. Dr. Sharon Patrick was my OBGYN for both my kids in 1994 and 1997. She was compassionate, and knowledable. I felt I could ask her any question and II wa always treated with respect and great care by her and her staff. Nothing but great things to say about her. Martha S. Besterman

Few times I've called the office ....no answer. Does someone knows how to find out ........how to make an appointment. Thanks

Very caring with both my pregnancies - saw her as a high-risk patient. Would highly recommend her.

Very caring, considerate and knowledgeable doctor. Really goes out of her way to explain and spend the all the time necessary with you. She was excellent at the delivery and really responsive to all my needs during and after the pregnancy.

She was my obstetrician 5 years ago and it was a mistake. She is uncaring, coarse and disrespectful of our wishes once our baby was born. Her practice is disorganized and unclean. Don't use her.

Dr. Patrick delivered both of my children and was so excellent with me throughout the whole process both times. The second time, she even let my son help out at check ups and find the baby's heart beat. She is warm, caring, excellent at her job and I wouldn't have anyone else deliver a child of mine. I trust her judgment implicitly.
