Dr Hammond was honest and straight to the point. I found her to be exceptionally knowledgeable in her field of expertise. She explained things to me so that everything was easy to understand, and made sense to me. I would highly recommend Dr Hammond who is looking for a vien or pulmonary doctor/specialist. Kudos to her staff as well, very pleasant and easy going, and they always greet you with a smile.

For over two years I have been trying to find a vascular doctor who could explain what is going on with the DVT’s in my leg. Well, I finally found that Dr. and it is Dr. Sharon Hammond. Even though she did not perform surgery on the bad leg, she detailed every aspect of my condition and I left her office with a sense of well being.

The Doc, and this whole practice, are a truly delightful group. The Doc did some pretty serious vein work on me (surgery on both legs), and my legs felt worlds better, and looked great.

Great doctor, great office!

My experience at Dr Hammond’s office has been excellent. The staff is professional and warm and friendly. I’m treated with respect. I’m seen quickly and I received the treatment I needed very quickly. Overall I would consider this a best medical office experience and I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Hammond has done both my legs for vericose veins. She is personable, very professional and her experience and explanations really helped me to get this surgery done. Dr Hammon is a consummate professional, personally caring and concerned about her patients. Her staff ia also outstanding.

Quite possibly the best experience I have had with any surgeon or physician. No one likes the idea of facing surgery, but if you require varicose vein surgery or similar, this is the practice you should first consider consulting.

So I was miss diagnosed for a long time always in pain. After years I was sent to Doctor Hammond and her wonderful staff. I was not to sure what to expect but I was taking care of from the moment that I walked into her office. I felt so not alone even though I was . Thank you all for helping me it’s amazing how different I fell I’m walking without a limp and I sleep instead of being in pain.

Two visists same day; one for mom and one for myself. Both times Dr Hammond and her staff were the utmost professionals and very friendly. I had several varicose veins on my right leg that Dr. Hammond closed off. The entire experience was accomplished with care and concern for me. From Dr. Hammonds staff to the hospital staff everyone made it easy and comfortable for me.

I rarely participate in online surveys but in this case, I must wholeheartedly endorse Dr. Hammond and her entire team. They were thoroughly professional, pleasant and above all, caring. Surgery of any kind is never fun, but if you have no choice but to have vascular surgery, I would highly recommend this practice.

If I could choose zero stars, I would. Awful. As I went in for my analysis, I waited for 50 minutes in the lobby for Dr. Sharon to be available. When finally called back, I witnessed her texting on her cell as I was ushered to a room where I waited for her for another 15. When she consulted with me finally, I told her I needed to spend literally 10 seconds on my phone typing the words "yes confirmed" back to a co-worker. She scolded me for being on the phone. I confronted her with "Are you kidding me....you kept me waiting for over an hour and I watched you using your Iphone as you made my wait, and I can't spend 10 seconds?" IT IS ALL ABOUT HER. Want further evidence? Despite my better judgment, I then decided to proceed with scheduling my procedure. Her team stated "we schedule appointments as the calls come in. So, you are up for the 6 AM slot, even though the 10 AM and Noon slot are available that same day." I explained that wouldn't work because I have to get my children to school. The staff continued on by saying "Even if we slot you for the 10 AM and the 6 AM cancels, we will push you up and force you into the 6 AM because that is the way Dr. Sharon wants it." AGAIN, it's all about DR. SHARON. Are you kidding me......it's almost 2019 and this is a world of convenience and customer service. There is competition and we live in a big city like Denver. I was very pleased with all aspects of my first visit with Dr. Hammond and her office staff. I was cordially greeted by the receptionist, and waited less than five minutes before being called. Her technical staff was also very efficient. After the examination, Dr. Hammond took the time to clearly explain my condition and her recommended course of action and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Hammond.

I went to Dr. Hammond for a vein problem that I've had for years. She was so thorough in her explanation of my diagnosis, the plan of treatment and the healing process. On top of that, she was so kind and caring. Thank you Dr. Hammond, you are amazing!

After having ultrasounds I was told I had veins that were not pumping blood as they should, and they would need to be shut down in order for the other veins to take over the circulation. Everyone I was in contact with regarding this procedure were very professional. The procedure went great and I needed no pain killers afterwards. There was no scarring and my leg feels great. I've had no complications and look forward to having the other leg done. Dr Hammond is the best vein surgeon in Denver. I should know, I've worked with many of them in the OR. She is kind, talented and professional. I would recommend her to everyone who has leg pain and/or visible veracose veins. I would trust her to care for my own beloved mother!

I signed up to have both lower legs done with the so called "Venus" procedure for vein removal with Dr. Hammond. I knew I was in trouble when I awoke from my first procedure on my right leg and found a nurse pulling up my underwear. When I asked what she was doing, she said she had to get me out and they needed the room for the next patient. After that: *I had excess fluid leakage from my ankle and asked to come in and be seen. I was treated like I was a nuisance, and told this was normal. *It's not normal. Not only were not all my veins removed, but my right leg always had swelling issues. Then where I had the fluid issue on my ankle, it started turning black. *So now I have a black ankle that looks like leg rot, leftover veins, and now I'm developing foot sores. My foot surgeon said it was due to the "Venus" procedure I had, and my blood flow to my foot has changed. *After weekly visits to my foot specialist, and two trips to the ER for excessive swelling, I was sent to an infectious disease Doctor. She said I have developed a serious bone infection from the "Venus" procedure. I was put on a pic line, and had home bag IV antibiotics three times a day for two months. *This made me sick, I lost 35 pounds, but it cleared up my bottom of my foot sores, but it also caused a staff infection on my right pinky toe which started bleeding and turning black with the bone sticking out. *I've been told by another vein specialist, my foot surgeon, the ER Doc, and the infectious disease Doctor that all my problems stem from the "Venus" procedure performed by Dr. Hammond who could care less. *So now I have to have my right pinky toe amputated, which I did in January 2016. So to date, I still have the veins, dark scars at all the entry points of the procedure, my ankle is black, I've lost a toe. I'm told I can't run anymore, I have to be extra careful and not push it too much as far as exercising goes. Like walking, hiking, running, etc…I run the risk of losing more toes. *So who knows what will happen next, but Dr. Hammond has ruined my life. I still get excessive swelling from doing nothing. I'm told if I'm not real careful, I could lose my foot. Maybe I'll post some photos, but they are pretty gross. *The only reaction from Dr. Hammond? She was pissed off I didn't have my left leg done and I was hung up on. Stay away and save yourself from my nightmare and look elsewhere. My story is not even done yet, because it's something new every few months. And all I wanted was for my ugly veins to be gone when I wear a pair of shorts. You should see the looks I get now.
