5/1/2022 - I’ve never had a problem with Dr. Gaylord or my Hygenist, but the front desk staff has always been incompetent - (charging me for services that are covered by my insurance, making me pay upfront for services that are covered by my insurance, not understanding insurance covers cleanings,) however today’s experience takes the cake. The receptionist, Felecia, canceled my appointment I had made six months ago without telling me. It wasn’t until I arrived at my appointment that they said they had canceled it. They gave the excuse that I didn’t confirm from their texts warning me that a no-show appointment would charge me $75. That’s the reason they charge $75 if you don’t show up. I showed up - do I get $75? I do not have a history of not showing up for appointments. But they canceled my appointment without any warning or any communication that they were going to do that , wasting my time. Find another dentist - it’s not worth the hassle you get from their staff.

Everyone is always so welcoming and easy to talk to. My hygienist is amazing. I always feel like she does a great job cleaning, but also at being friendly and chatting with me. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and great at responding to any questions I have.

Our family switched to Island Dental to see Dr. Gaylord a few years back and have always had a great experience. The staff is very friendly and responsive to your needs even during emergency situations. We appreciate the care and feeling of a family practice!!

I have had nothing but an awful experience with this office. They truly do not care about their patients, they just care about collecting money is whatever way they can. Please save yourself the headache and look into another office in the area. I am very unhappy with their business practices.

The staff at Island Dental is great! I was a new patient and they followed stringent health and safety guidelines which made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Gaylord and Cindy, my hygenist, were very friendly, professional and thorough. I would highly recommend them.

My experience has always been a pleasant one and today was no exception. One of my front teeth chipped pretty bad this morning and they didn't hesitate to work me in even though they are still playing catch up on appointments that were scheduled prior to CIVID. Been going there for years, very friendly staff and great dentist!

Dr.Gaylord and her friendly staff have provided me with topnotch dental work for several years. I recommend them to all of my friends and 4 have already signed on and are we are all very satisfied customers.

Felicia in the front desk was super helpful and willing to fit me in to an appointment. Cindy was my dental assistant and did a wonderful job! She was super nice and walked me through all their precautions they're taking to prevent the spread of Covid. Dr. Gaylord was sweet and kind. I was very nervous about my visit today, as it was the first time I have been in such close proximity to anyone outside my immediate family since the quarantine. The moment I stepped foot in the office I was treated with kindness and understanding. All safety procedures were taken to keep the areas of treatment sanitary, and Dr Gaylord and Cindy (the hygienist) were extremely caring and gentle. Every change that they are taking for safety reasons was explained to me, and I felt reassured immediately. excellent, this dentist is one of a kind in so many ways. I would like to detail my experience but due to privacy issues, I will hold off until I ask the dentist. A great dentist and person and the staff is awesome.
