Dr. Lucas is just wonderful I can’t speak highly enough of the care she gives! She has my best interest in mind and is incredibly proactive in getting me what I need for treatment and care going in a fast and efficient way! Dr. Lucas is kind, compassionate and caring. She is also honest, strong and straight forward. She stays current with treatment options and outcomes. She explains things so that I understand and offers sound, experienced answers and advice to all my questions. She is a gift to our community. Her office staff is also great - from front office, financial counseling, medical assistant and nurse practitioner, they know your name and treat you like a friend. Highly recommend.

Dr Lucas is absolutely wonderful. She not only is an excellent doctor but has a exceptional way she treats her patients.I would truly recommend her for anyone that needs this type of care.She’s a 10 and so are the infusion nurses. The staff in Brevard,NC are always kind &friendly and go out of their way to be helpful.

Dr. Lucas was part of my physician’s dream team when I had cancer 12 years ago. Her professionalism and warmth are unsurpassed. I would recommend her to anyone who is searching for a wonderful oncologist. Dr. Lucas cares about every patient and this is obvious in everything she does. Thank you.

Dr. Lucas is an excellent physician. She listens and does not forget anything I say. She explains medical conditions and treatments in terms I understand. She stays current in the medical field. She is personable and compassionate.

Dr. Lucas explains her strategic approach to medications and the necessary follow up procedures. She ordered simple tests to proactively confirm I was a good candidate for the meds she prescribed. She was very easy to talk to.

I was referred by a Duke Health physician to Dr. Lucas when I relocated to WNC. Dr. Lucas has the best bedside manner of any doctor from which I have received medical care. She has a very calming spirit, and listens intently as I share not only any medical issues, but also overall life and family issues. She brings a healing spirit just with her presence. Should there be a recurrence of my cancer, I will want Dr. Lucas by my side.
