Dr Raman saved my moms life after a botched back surgery that lead to severe infections and septic shock. When other doctors were ignoring signs or waffling, he took action and covered all his bases to ensure my mom had the best shot at surviving possible. Not only did he help save her life but he did it with compassion and care. He spoke openly and warmly with my brother and I and stayed with us every step of the journey. He also treated my mother with genuine care and spoke to her like she was a friend and not a patient (he's also incredibly funny). Very friendly staff, fast pace. Dr. Raman is so nice and truly concerned for his patients.

Was hoping there was no stars to put but I have to put one to make remarks. Was in hospital Fri for bad infection due to surgery that I had last year. It took me to the hospital it was so bad they gave me lots of fluids and antibiotics. By Sunday morning after two days of so much medication I was fine and good to go home but then he said no wait you need a pick line for home I.V for six weeks and three times a day! I was like what and why if I am good and blood count good to go home on pills. So I asked him and he said well I assume thats,what you need Wow guy said hes infections specials more like he just wanted to charge my insurance company for un needed pickline .B/S so went home on pills and I am fine. Dr. Raman is outstanding and very knowledgeable at what he does. I had a terrible superficial fungal infection of the skin in all my sweat area's along with a bacterial infection in some area's. All the other doctor's who have treated me in many years did nothing but feed the fungal infection. They treated the bacterial, but did little for the fungal but feed it and made it very worse. As far and I'm concerned this man helped save my life and rescued me from the horrific pain I was in!

Dr Raman acted as a disease consultant for when I was hospitalized with an infection. Even though tested for micoplasma, he continued to think I had valley fever until three tests showed I did not. My diagnosis was undetermined. I had a recuurent sinus infection when I followed up with him. He perscribed an antibiotic. When He found that I was allergic to the medication, he said to see him at my next appointment. I had no appointment. I ended up at UCLA late that night for treatment.
