Avoid this doctor like the plague. Likes to overprescribe patients on antipsychotics despite debilitating side effects. Does not have any concern for patients. A family member of mine has been trying to get their prescription refilled by this doctor for days and he is unreachable. Now he has to go without. If you have also had issues with this doctor, please talk to the medical board. Avoid this doctor like the plague. Likes to overprescribe patients on antipsychotics despite debilitating side effects. I wish someone prescribed him high doses of antipsychotics and turn him into a dopamine deprived zombie.

I have stiff muscles, spasms, depression, anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, anhedonia and apathy because the doctor decided to inject me with haldol decanoate. It ruined my health and exacerbated my ocd symptoms.

I did not have anxiety and depression prior to his recommended and forced medication. Now I have all this anxiety and I hope that it isn't chronic.

Spent very little time getting to know my background, was on his phone texting. When I complained about sleeping all day because of a new medication, his response was that it's a good thing I wasn't on a higher dose. In it for the money, obviously doesn't care about the patients.

Saw patient less than 30 minutes total throughout stay. Refused to listen or consider individual needs. 100% financially motivated decision making. Laughed in patient's face and threatened to detain them for at least two more weeks if they didn't agree to receive treatment with his hospitals program upon release (as opposed to other local options). Arrogant, lazy, and definitely does not use best practice standards....

Update to my original review- the first charges that we were billed were for the doctor he passed off his dictation to! So they billed us $545 for dictation of his notes plus he billed us $779 of his own charges. He billed us for days that he never even saw my husband. He met with my husband a TOTAL of less than 1 hour over a 4 day period and billed a combined $1324 for it. Calling what he did "treatment" is an overstatement. He is just out for billing, and over-billing every chance he gets.

Dr. Rahman was the in-house doctor when my husband was at Beckett Springs inpatient alcohol detox program. When meeting with my husband, he just ran through his checklist so he could move on to the next person. He quoted things in his notes that my husband didn't say and really didn't take any interest - just going through the motions. Not all of the meetings were documented in his medical records, and the amount of time we were billed for was much greater than the time he actually spent. For their 3 meetings, they billed 50 min, 25 min and 25 min when they actually met for no more than 10-15 minutes each time. I would love to see the total time he billed for a single day across all of the patients at the facility. They also held my husband at the facility longer than the agreed upon amount of time (he was there voluntarily), and gave no reason why they wouldn't release him and there is nothing in his medical records to justify this either. I would not recommend him or the facility.
