Shahwali Arezo

No one is excited about having to see a gastro-Dr but Dr Arezo and his whole surgical staff were the most amazing people! They made me feel comfortable, they had great bedside manners, were so accommodating and understanding. They really treated me with the absolute best care. Sara, Suzanne, Sue, the anesthesiologist (I wish I could remember his name) - he said “don’t worry I’ll be with you the whole time”. I don’t know why but I’ve never used a Riverside provider before - they make me want to switch to Riverside for everything. I will recommend Dr. Arezo to everyone. He is a great guy and his leadership obviously permeates to everyone there. He’s not just amazing to his patients - but his office is open one Saturday a quarter. I happened to get in to see him on a Saturday appointment & I overheard him bring Starbucks in for his staff & thanking them for being there. THIS is the kind of thing we need more of in the world!!! Dr. Arezo listens to all of my concerns, treats me like a person and not a number, genuinely cares about my well-being, and is very thorough with his explanations about my health problems. He has performed two procedures on me and everything went smoothly.

Dr. Arezo , Becky and everyone there could not have been more wonderful! I recommend them 100% if you are looking for a GI specialist.

Dr. Arezo is a very patient, kind and knowledgeable doctor. He is my third gastro doc and hopefully my last. He takes me seriously and actually spends a good amount time with his patients. He orders tests to rule out problems rather than just treating symptoms. I appreciate his hard work and dedication. I have been a patient of Dr. Arezo's since 2011. I have never been to a doctor's office where such personal care and attention are given. The Dr. Arezo/Rebecca VanderStouwe combination is the team that I highly recommend to anyone looking for GI care.

Hello! I definitely recommend this Dr. I went to a Gastero back home, and they were just awful. That man didn't explain anything to me... I won't go into depth.... And then I found Arezo!
