Dr. Karim is a really good pain management doctor who listens to his patients needs and really cares, He a has physical therapy facility next door and all his staff is also very caring, it even has a pool inside...Really awesome place....I'm so glad I found him

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have been coming to see her for 3 years and she has never cared about my pain she just wants to bill my insurance. Today was my last time seeing her because I spoke up about how they always skip me and let other patients go before I do. I always wait 2 hours her answer was because she wastes her time with me for not speaking English. She also told me she didn't want to see me anymore that if I only wanted pain injections to come in. What kind of Dr just gives patients injections without seeing or checking them. Very unprofessional and racist. I wouldn't be surprised if she just has patients going in just to get pain medication prescribed without being evaluated.

Dr. Karim is excellent. I have Fibromyalgia, chronic migraines, Degenerative Disc Disease of my spine, osteoarthritis and other conditions. She has always been able to alleviate my pain and is very kind and caring.

Dr. Shanaz Karim truly cares about her patients. She has helped me tremendously! If you do not want to take narcotics for pain, Dr. Karim is the Dr. for you!!

I've been seen by Dr. Karim for 5 or 6yrs and do not intend to go anywhere else. Great doctor that truly cares and feels your pain..

Dr Karim has turned my life around!! I came to her at the end of my rope, mostly bedridden, maxed out on opioids, and yet still in SO much PAIN. She listens to all of my concerns great and small, and she works WITH me to find solutions in order to manage my pain and to transition successfully to a different kind of pain medication. Since I’ve been off of the opioids, I’m no longer bedridden but can take care of my family again, exercise, and enjoy my family life. My husband feels like his has ME back again! We are all so happy and grateful to Dr Karim!! She genuinely cares for her patients and truly wants what is best for them... It is difficult to make changes when one hurts SO, SO MUCH, but believe me, if you follow her advice attentively and give her feedback right away as you transition, she will do everything she can to help ease the path, and when you come out of it you will feel like you’ve woken up to a life with more energy and less pain!! The assistants are very personable and caring which makes me very comfortable and respects each one to the highest. Dr. Shana Karim, right now makes me very emotional. She saved my life emotionally, physically and spiritually. She is very caring, listens attentively, compassionate, encouraging and very real. She tells you the truth, that makes you self-reflect where you are in life and what is most important, your health. I was in so much pain constantly, where it was excruiating and cause other medical problems. I followed her directives and moving forward in life. I suffer with severe fibromyalgia chronic pain and my visits with this doctor is like a breath of fresh air, she always listens to my concerns she gives me the time I need to address how I feel. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have been referred to Dr. Karim. After 20 years of EXTREME chronic pain, she is the first pain doctor that I have found to take the time to sit down and listen to my history and assure me that she would help me find a pain regimen that would best suit me and improve my quality of life. She is so kind and understanding, anyone that is referred to her will be extremely fortunate!

I’m so thankful and grateful to doctor Dr. Karim and her staff. Called the office due to an episode of excruciating pain and they were able to squeeze me in the very next day which is so rare to find other doctors who do that. . It was good to be treated with professionalism and care. Caring, smiling and laughing is good atmosphere for patients. When I say the doctor and all the other employees of there made me feel that I was in safe hands and even made me smile when I left. Best Doctor!

I recently started seeing Dr. Shahnaz Karim,after my doctor,Wali Gouher of Houston retired and I was really concerned that I would not be able to find a doctor that could give me the same care as my previous doctor! After seeing her for the first time,I knew I was in good hands and that this clinic and doctor would be my new home for me as well as my family! The clinic has a great staff that truly care for there patients! I love this place and I guarantee there is no better doctor in Houston!

Dr. Karim used to be my pain doc. Her office was always overcrowded, front staff was rude and the doctor herself spends 5 mins max before she sends you out the door. At first she seems like a very caring and great doctor but give it a few visits. She never kept me in the same med twice. I left in the end after being forced off my meds w/o talking 1st. I'm glad I left and found a better doc. I DON'T recommend her at all.

Dr.Karim has been one of the best Dr's , I have had in years ,she has shown me that great Dr's do exist.She has been so instrumental in getting my health back on track,it was getting to the point where I feared for my health, I am diabetic and overweight , coming to her has changed my life for the better,her concerns are all about what her patient needs , even if it's not her speciality ,she makes sure to refer you to whoever will help you , she's definitely a team player. I highly recommend Dr.

This doctor has helped me with my pain

I have been a patient of Dr Karim for over 8 yes she is very kind and understanding, and listens to me as a patient. She works with you so that you can help with your care. I am a recovering addict and she has listened to me and understanding that even though I am in a lot of pain my recovery comes first and has been able to help with my pain relief without being on addictive meds. So if you want a Dr who listens to YOU and helps you then you need to go see her you won't regret.

My first visit to Dr. Shahnaz Karim was 2010. She is a wonderful doctor with a charming bed-side manner, caring for her patients and encouraging each one to work hard at recovery. Dr. Karim spends time listening, never rushes, and is very respectful. The office is quite, professional, clean, and the staff is extremely polite. Dr. Karim is a no-nonsense, rule-oriented professional who properly addresses patients pain and rehabilitation. I have 7 years of astonishing results and more to come.

Been seeing her 8 years and not only did she provide me with excellent care via medicine, injections, topicals and even cupping treatment; but she has personally mentored and counseled me regarding employment, school, and personal fitness. Every time I visit the office weather it is for a refill or injection or both she makes sure I do not leave without a prayer and motivation as well. She's written countless letters for me and is the best pain doctor locally. Only down side is the wait time.

I have been with Dr Shanaz Karin for two years and she has been wonderful to me. When my mom came with me after two car wreck she seen how badly she was hurting and started her on therapy emiditly and she is doing fine you couldn't ask for a better Dr.

She has helped me through my pain and the medicine is helping for me.

I came to Dr. Karim after my recent surgery and she was very helpful in prescribing me alternatives to help with the pain. She showed me some exercises to aid with the physical therapy. Very friendly. Staff is nice and attentive. Great location as well.
