This gentle, kind,caring, dedicated doctor is one of the most knowledgeable in his field. Should you need a neurologist, you want Dr.Shirzadi ! I first saw him in February 2022.

I have been waiting a month and a half to see this doctor, my physician referred me, over a month ago. Yesterday this office calls me, in lieu of the referring doctor, to have me get the correct authorization number for the referral. Wouldn't it be easier, just to call the corresponding secretary at the first office? Second, I go into the office, and they immediately ask for payment, no forms to be filled, just pay us. I explained my visit was fully covered, then, had to confirm by calling my insurance company, another call someone that gets paid to make these calls, should be making. Then, while waiting for the authorization I had to have another doctors office get for them, they asked again for a copay, after my insurance company verified it was 0.00. At this point, I had to leave to avoid conflict. I am disabled/retired, I should not have to do secretarial work in a specialists office, while being a patient. The office never and I mean NEVER answers their phone. TERRIBLE SERVICE

I had been calling Dr. Shirzadi's office every other day but no one ever answers the call. I left a VM & have not received a call back. I would like to meet a Doctor whose staff & Dr. is very responsive.

I have been seen from Dr.Shirzadi for 18 years now, he’s amazing, caring, and a professional doctor. If I could give him 10 stars I would. He is the only one who stood by my side when I came from overseas pregnant with no insurance and he still does.

Nice location.

Dr. Shirzadi is great! Always on-time, professional and addresses any questions or concerns.

He’s is a wonderful doctor who genuinely cares for his patients. My parents are grateful to be under his care for the past few years. The staff are great and are helpful with accommodating appointments.

Doctor found the cause of my daughter’s seizures. Now she’s been seizure free for 5 years and found the perfect medication for her. He is always available when we have an emergency as well. The staff is amazing and very polite. I highly recommend this doctor.

I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing doctors, but Dr. Shirzadi is amazing and has the BEST bed side manners and is extremely knowledgeable. He cares about his patients and it shows, I am so happy to have found a neurologist who can help me and make this scary situation feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I would highly recommend Dr. Shirzadi.

I haven’t even been seen yet, and to be honest his secretary is not very encouraging. She is rude and lacks compassion. She is not helpful and seems annoyed to even be working there. If this is the overall climate when I arrive I will not waste my time or money.

Dr. Shirzadi is an excellent doctor. I trust him with my life. I have never had any problem getting hold of his office or making an appointment. He did a through test of my brain and pinpointed exactly what was going on and gave me the medication to take to keep things on track. Happens that later my sister and then my mom had started to see him also for other issues and are just as satisfied. Always will recommend him to others. Even my family physician was surprised and seemed excited when I told him whom I had seen when he sent me to the emergence room at the hospital. Told me he is a very good doctor. Can not give this doctor a 0 star because I can not give my review. All I can say is if you are looking for good doctor he is not the one. Sorry not sorry! For those of you giving good reviews maybe he was not as inconsiderate and judgemental as he was to us.

I would definitely be giving a 1 star and that too because I unfortunately don’t have a a zero star option . I went to thier office with cervical dystonia . Dr. Looked at me if I was a hopeless case and said there is nothing he can do pretty much. Then the office slammed me with a $300 bill for that visit . So pretty much I am expected to pay $300 for five minutes with the doctor to just hear that there is nothing he can do . He made me feel like I was gonna have to live my life with it . I took 4 months to recover and started seeing a functional neurologist named Dr. Gale Henry . She was the one whose strong positive encouragement and hope in me led me to fully recover . 4 months of my symptoms start to finish and I am with God’s blessing as healthy as I can be . Dr. And staff lacked empathy. I don’t know how patients are expected to recover when someone straight up tells them there is nothing that can be done . Brain is plastic , it can be trained to do anything .. how can a neurologist not know that and not encourage that . My grandmother, who is a Spanish speaker, received a referral to see this neurologist. Her appointment fell on a day I was out of town but we felt comfortable because we were assured he had Spanish-speaking staff. When seen by him he told her next time to bring someone to interpret for her as his Spanish-speaking employees are hired to do their jobs and not to translate. I found this to be incredibly rude and unprofessional. We do not recommend him. Her PCP was made aware of this so she does not recommends him to her patients either. The staff do not answer or pick up the phone! I believe there is no one as a receptionist due to office finances! You have to keep leaving them messages! He does not follow up with his patients! Dr Shirzadi is wonderful! He has helped me with my medical problems much more than my previous Dr's. He talks to me, not at me. He listens when I have questions and gives honest answers. Best thing, he has 2 locations.

If I could give this doctor 6 or 10 GOLD stars I would!!!! Dr. Shirzadi and his staff are top notch, caring and great bedside manner. From the moment I made my appointment to the time I walked in the experience was amazing! After experiencing excruciating pain for weeks my GP referred me to him. They were able to get me at an 8:30 appointment on Monday. The doctor was on time and actually greeted me at the doorway. Saw me walk to the exam room and immediately jumped in and began to exam based on my walk. He could tell I was in severe pain. During the exam, he found the issue and orders MRI. Got me an appointment for the next day. And made sure my insurance was able to take it. He realized how serious this was and took every action to get me results and provide comfort. Today I got my MRI and he was able to read my results. I have herniated disc and need surgery. I can’t thank Dr Shirzadi and his staff enough! I’m so blessed and thankful this doctor is in my life. Suffer from seizures and he found the cause of the seizures. I have been seizure free for 2 years now and feel great. He was very attentive and made sure that I got my tests done within a timely manner. He followed up with me quickly since he is able to receive messages through the patient portal. I would highly recommend Dr. Shirzadi.

It is not easy to get through, called many times in different days to get an appointment, do not know when is the office open and what days it is open? The far away patients will need miracles?

An awesome doctor with a heart of gold. He has been taking care of my mother and helping her throughout the past few months. My family and I are forever grateful to have met such a kind doctor whom truly care about his patients. Thank you again doctor!

After being in an accident i had severe pain in my back and neck! I got referred to Dr Shirzadi from a family member of mine who had gone to him before. I loved that every time I walked in , I was immediately greeted by the friendly front desk girl. I spent maybe 2 minutes on average in the waiting room every time. I loved that they took me right back EVERYTIME! they did a series of tests and exercises. I’m sorry i can’t name them all but my back and neck always felt better when I left. It got better with each session I went to. Dr.Shirzadi is very personable! He would talk to me by name and really listened to me when I told him what hurt and where I had pain. He would consistently ask me everytime if there was something I wanted to work on or if my back was still giving me pain. When I say they were thorough and detailed... they were excellent. Which is hard to find in Houston and all the doc offices i’ve been in and out of. My mom was having trouble walking, etc. Dr. Shahin was generous enough to see her even though she didn't have insurance approval. He diagnosed my mom with Parkinson's and prescribed her meds with clear titration instructions and counseling. This helped her regain her movements. He is always available for questions and very thorough with his explanations. Doesn't rush us out and very nice/caring. My mom loves going to him. His staff are excellent as well! Thanks a lot! I had badly migraine for over 35 years. I had used many different kinds of medicines prescribed by many Neurology physicians in Iran, Europe ( Germany, England), Los Angeles, New York and New Jersey but, although some days I was in better situation, after one or two weeks My headache was worth than before so that I was really tired of life!! Last year ( 2018), I found Dr. Shirzadi and I went under his treatment. Now after a year, although, sometimes, I have quite headache but, my headache from 10 has dropped to 4 and it is only and only because of Dr. Shirazi’s special medication and treatment style. I am now very happy and warmly appreciate the doctor and prays for Dr. Shirzadi the most success in his profession. Regretfully I’m unable to compensate his favors. The great God bless him. Mehrnaz

Very difficult to get a response from. Went in for an appt and got lab work etc. done. never got a call or any follow up. Called them numerous times to get the analysis, they don't pick up the phone, they don't return messages. Very disappointing. The actual visit to the doctor was fine, hence 2 stars not 1.

It is very hard to get to speak to someone in doctors office: they don't answer their phone and take only messages and at their leisure call back. Dr. Shirzadi referred me to have 2 tests done, one of them brain MRI... Dr. or his office never called me with results and when after 2 weeks waiting and worrying I called, they did return my call and said that it is not their responsibility to get results of the test to the patient, that patient has to call them. For the second test he sent me to psychologist Stuart Nathan and after about 2 months waiting for the results, I called dr Nathan office and was told that my results were faxed to dr Shirzadi...I called dr Shirzadi office and as usual they returned my call and said that they didn’t receive any fax from psychologist Nathan...I called psy. Nathan and they insisted that they sent fax...So I cannot get results of my second test. My insurance company and I paid for the test and I cannot get results. Never again I will go to above “health workers”, my blood pressure is up from dealing with them. I think that I will report them to my insurance company. I have tried calling the doctors office at least 25 times (during the short office hours of (9-12 and 1-4) over the last 2-3 days and NOBODY ever answers the phone. I have left 2 messages that have not been returned. Paperwork has been faxed at least twice over the last week and a half for them to fill out and to my knowledge it hasn't been done. I pray that you don't have an emergency because you will not be able to reach anyone. This is completely unacceptable that they treat their patients like this!! Dr. Shirzadi is patient and kind and shows concern for his patients. The wait time is minimal and we are not rushed out of the office. Great compassionate physician.

Dr. Shirzadi is the best. I had treatments from numerous doctors and even hospitalized for severe facial spasms with no success. However, Dr. Shirzadi started treating me for the facial spasms and now I get some relief and a break from my face being distorted with slurred speech.
