Dr. Illahi is a brilliant GI that knows his sh@t! He has done an amazing job controlling and healing my health issues.

A great Dr with a great sense of humor. Always fun to visit him.

Dr. Ilahi is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. Not only is he unbelievably knowledgeable, he truly cares for his patients. His office staff is always very polite and up-front when he knows he is running behind schedule. I have no complaints about the level of care provided by Dr. Ilahi, the friendliness of his office manager, or the responsiveness of his front office. My husband scheduled a colonoscopy. Had to call twice because they never sent the prescription for the prep kit as promised. Arrived to hospital and told that there was no procedure scheduled. We called Dr. Ilahi's office and were told that the procedure was in the office. We had never been told that - the other times he had colonoscopies they were at the hospital. When we arrived, they wouldn't accept him because he did not have proof of Covid vax. They should have told his that this was required and we would have brought it. Had to call Osco to verify - that took another 15 minutes. Finally, when they were ready for him, they asked me to wait in the car! It is 90 degrees today! Couldn't wait in their EMPTY air conditioned office? We will us another doctor in the future. Do not use these people unless you want this kind of horrendous treatment.

I have offsetting opinions. Dr. Ilahi seems very capable and does good technical work based on my results (several scopes) and referrals to him and comments by nurses. He is very nice, albeit late for appointments. Why he hasn't fired and replaced office staff with competent personnel is beyond me. I have received bills months to a year late and they screwed up Rx's. A nice office staff person was on the phone with him, presumably to take notes, but they must not check their notes. The Rx never came in, then I followed up and she quoted the wrong Rx that he had said he would replace. We verified that this should go to mail Rx. Then I found they sent it to the wrong local Rx company! This is on top of previously scheduling me for a phone consultation which they missed and didn't call. So I called them, and they didn't have it on the books. How mistakes continue to happen year after year between scheduling, billing, and Rx lets you know how the office is run. A great doctor and a very nice individual. My wife and I have been patients for years.

Sent me a bill over two years after the original date of service. Getting a hold of office staff to deal with this was near impossible. Once they finally put me through to the person who could "help" me, they claimed they had been sending me bills every month for the past two years. This is BS. I always pay my bills as soon as they are received. Also, if this payment was so overdue, why were there no late fees? Why wasn't a collection agency sent after me? Something is screwed up with their billing system. But they were unwilling to do ANYTHING to resolve this. This is a horrible way to treat a patient. As for the doctor's care, it was just okay. Avoid this place like the plague.

I was in hospital in severe pain, they found pancreatis and a hernia of some sort. He did nothing for the pain or the pancreas. I have lost over 20 pounds due to illness, he prescribed me a med that cost $100 with insurance, and instead of ordering all he wanted me to take he ordered 5 days at a time with refills, leaving us to have to pay co-pay each time we refill the script. I would not suggest him no matter how smart and charming he seems. Wonderful doctor! Ordered testing and found out the reason why I was having stomach issues (gluten intolerance later becoming an allergy with eczema) and did endoscopy to rule out celiac. Properly diagnosed me very quickly. Great bedside manner. I would definitely refer him.

Terrible

I love Dr. Ilahi and staff! The nurses are very outgoing, respectful and did everything they could to put me more at ease prior to the procedure. Dr. Ilahi is very competent and knowledgeable in his expertise of colon care. He is was very reassuring in his preliminary diagnosis after my procedure, and has a very warm and engaging bedside manner. I only wish that Dr. Ilahi specialized in other areas of health in addition to gastroenterology!

Dr. Ilahi is always friendly, compassionate and very personable. His staff is always great to deal with. Very friendly and helpful. It's just nice working with them

I scheduled my appt. on the phone and after that I never heard another word about my procedure and how to prepare, the time I was to go to the hospital or anything. I had to follow up the day of the procedure on my own or I would not have known when I was to arrive. After my procedure, while I was still groggy he came in for less than a minute to give me the results and gave me a prescription and then did not stay to answer the questions I had. Never got a call back from him or the office for a follow up visit. I think it is poor medical care to just prescribe meds without giving the whole picture and discussing the options or how to improve your health. Poor care. I think he is too busy and I would not recommend him.

I scheduled my colonoscopy by phone. I never got an explanation about how to take the medicine to prepare for the colonoscopy-- only the brief info on the side of the bottle and by talking to the pharmacist. I never got a call the day of to confirm the procedure; I called the office and the office girl said, "O. be there be there at 12:00(this was 10:30) Poor follow up by Dr. Ilahi after procedure. I was groggy and he told me in a complete rush what was wrong and gave me a prescription

Dr. Ilahi is a fantastic doctor and very friendly. I highly recommend him to anyone in need of a GI doctor.

Been going to him for 16years great Dr. with Amazing bedside manor. He also does procedures in office which takes so much less time than at hospital, and is only minutes for Good Shepard.

Dr. Ilahi is great . . he makes you feel relaxed and has a great sense of humor, which is needed when you're about to get an endoscopy or a colonoscopy.

My review, it's a man I haven't seen for years but has had my heart for many.. I wasn't just a patient, I worked for him and had a very low point in my life where he was right there for me. I will forever be grateful for having him as a boss, doctor, and I hope, friend as I saw it.
