Dr. Shahid Aziz

Dr. Aziz is a great doctor he takes his time with his patients and explains everything so clearly. I have been seeing him for over 30 years now and I hope he doesn't decide retire anytime soon because he will be hard to replace as my doctor .

Extremely rude dr. He will not let you speak and he talks over you. I had to reschedule my apt withDr.Aziz. I called janelle, the lady that does scheduling many times and left messages with her that I needed to reschedule as I did not have a driver as per their requirement. She never called me back. I was concerned that they didn’t get my message so I called the hospital to make sure they new that I would not be coming. I spent more than 4 weeks leaving messages with janelle again to call me to reschedule. Finally I received a call after I left a message saying I would just find a new Dr. I was told that since I didn’t show for my procedure the dr would have to call me and have another pre colonoscopy apt. I explained what happened…He proceeded to tell me that the most of his staff is out with covid and that is why janelle couldn’t return my calls. He was mad because I caused financial strain on him since I didn’t have my colonoscopy done. His problems are more important than his patie

Awful. Rudest Dr. I have ever experienced. Talks to his patients like they are beneath him. Very combative for no reason. Complete nightmare.

Dr. Aziz is very impatient. He does not seem to have compassion in treating patient. We understand his time is valuable and so is our time. We came to see him, waited for him. He would not come right away to see us, of course that is understandable because he is treating other patients. But when he came to see us, he seemed so rush. And when we asked questions, his response is " You have asked many questions, some of them are good, but many of them are silly" Dear Dr. Aziz, if I have known the answers to my questions, I would not have to come see a doctor for help. I respect your time, and I do not think my questions are unreasonable or as many or as silly as you said. We are worried about our health, and that is why we are here. If you are so impatient to see your patient, then you do not have the compassion to help your patients. Yet, despite his impatience, the bill quickly arrives after the visit as quick as his 15-20 minutes valuable time.

Perfectly professional. Expert in his field. Doesn’t allow children in the patient rooms, which is totally understandable given the seriousness of disease that he treats. I was reluctant to follow through with my appointment after reading some of the reviews, but those absolutely did not match my experience at all. I have complete confidence in him and highly recommend Dr. Aziz.

The PA and other staff members in this office are friendly, professional, and informative. Dr Aziz, however, is the most condescending, abrupt, and rudest doctor I have encountered in 70 years. He becomes angry if you ask a question, even to ensure that you understand you clearly understood what he said. (His response to me was, “I already told you.”) He may be knowledgeable, but run away as fast as you can unless you do not want a doctor who cares about you and is informative, patient, and kind. I left his office and went straight to my primary care’s office to secure a referral.

Since I'm limited to 500, I'll give you the highlights of Aziz 1 Couldn't/wouldn't answer questions during my post follow-up 2 Got defensive when I kept asking questions 3 Got nervous when I kept asking questions 4 Told me asking questions was his definition of arguing 5 May/may not have violated his professional code of ethics 6 Has low Emotional IQ Understand medical field is like the restaurant industry & using this analogy, Aziz is the HoJo -failed fast food that no one will miss. ever.

I never got to the point of having an appt w/ Dr. Aziz. When I called to make a new pat appt, they said I would need a referral even though my ins doesn't need it. I called to get a referral from my doc. When I called back after doc told me referral was sent, I was hung up on before anyone said anything. I called back & was put on hold. I was told their system runs behind & they didn't have my referral. They refused to make me an appt knowing it was on its way. Not worth the trouble.

My PCP referred me to Dr. Aziz for a colonoscopy. Staff scheduled and prepped me properly and in a timely manner. The procedure was short and sweet. I met Dr. Aziz briefly in the procedure room..He stated whom he is and what he is going to perform on me. I liked the brief and get down to business scenario. I do not want to be pampered. I am there with stomach complaints and he did exactly what i asked by Helping me find the issue so Now, I will move forward with options. I like Dr. Aziz!!

WORST doctor I have ever met. He was rude from the get go. He was explaining to us that there needed to be more blood work done because he did not know what my dad had. I made a comment on what we were told at the hospital and his response was " that we can go see that doctor if we wanted to". His comment was not necessary instead of explaining to us that there is more then 1 type and more blood work needs to be done to determine which one it was would have been enough. He was a total JERK !!!

I have heard such great things about D.R. AZIZ from Houston . Dallas. Ft Worth plum down to rual hood county yes he is the BEST at what he does. I was happy to have been referred to D.R. AZIZ ! I have had 2 procedure's a liver biopsy , and colonoscopy . I can tell you: this D.R and his team went out of their way to assure my comfort and ease .I had no pain or discomfort during or after. The professionalism and humanity of DR AZIZ and his team are why I tell anyone & everyone about DR S AZIZ.

Outstanding professionals, did exactly what he said, procedure was done on time and painlessly, and his bedside manner was very good. Briefed me on all findings and answered any questions I had immediately after the procedure.

Only saw him for 10 sec. before they put me asleep for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. The main visits , all I saw was his P.A. Rebecca. I went in for diarrhea, constipation and bloating. She said we will do a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I said alright. $2200.00 later they said they found nothing but lightly inflamed gastritis and one very minuscule pallop. Rebecca said well lets do a another stool sample and if shows nothing then we will have to call it I.B.S. Where is the Doctor.

This office is the worst Dr. I,ve ever delt with. took 2 months to get 1st office visit. after another month colon procedture was set up. There staff failed twice to send perscription to pharmicy. wanted me to

I liked the fact that he told me exactly what would be done, and how it would be done. He was to the point and does not beat around the bush so to speak (direct for different wording).
