There is not much to say about this visit, I have never had a disappointing visit. I have had 2 visits a year for over 15 years. My condition now is much better now than it was on my first visit. If I have a problem with my body and explain it to him, he always knows what I need or should do to deal with my problem. He is very detailed in the way he treats you, his vast experience in RA makes me very glad I was referred to him by my family physician. Living with RA is not always easy, but I live an enjoyable life with minimal pain. I have nothing but gratitude for his help.

From the time I stepped into the office until my appointment was completed, every one of the employees were very welcoming and thorough to me.

Dr. Shahouri is always nice and very knowledgeable. He treats my RA well even when I am not doing well he makes the information of the problem understandable.

The whole experience at ARCK is great. The reception is always warm and friendly and the staff in infusion department are all great and very conscientious. I have gone to Dr. Shahouri for several years now, and am very pleased with my care.

Dr Shahouri was very kind and concerned about me and my problem. He took his time like I was the only person on his schedule. Even talked to me a couple of times while I was waiting on blood work. He explained everything to me so I could understand my treatment. I would highly recommend him.

He was quick to diagnose my mother as suffering from Polymyalgia Rheumatica and after numerous doctors, Dr. Shahouri made the diagnosis on the first trip and my mother’s mobility improved dramatically for years. After several inaccurate diagnoses and increased disability, Dr. Shahouri diagnosed my condition as rheumatoid arthritis. I have been under his care for several years now and my arthritis is under control and I lead an active relatively pain free life without pain medication. Dr. Shahouri's expertise was demonstrated in diagnosing and treating my condition. Though he is very busy, he took the time to explain every detail of my diagnosis and treatment and answer my questions. He is also kind and caring. I am confident in his ability to keep me healthy.

Two weeks already trying to make an appointment with Dr. Shadi. Ladies on the phone are in needed of Customer Service Training . They had me sent the referral for the second time today and now I have to wait 2-3 more days to call if they have had the time to process the faxes. I will get my referral sent somewhere else.

Dr Shouhori is the most conscious sincere honest Rheumatologist I have mutual patients with. He is very knowledgeable, takes his time with every single patient, kind hearted, and cares, feels for his patients pain and discomfort. He is very professional. Definitely I trust his clinical judgment.

I think Dr. Shahouri is the best in Wichita. He saved my son's life 13 years ago. Helped me with a very bad knee which no other doctor could do.

I have been seeing Dr. Shahouri for about two years after I first suspected I may have an arthritis problem. A visit and consultation with him at his office confirmed that I have rheumatoid arthritis. I now go to see him about every three to four months. In addition to technical medical knowledge he has great "chairside" manner. He answers all my questions and thoroughly reviews any pains I have been having. Most of my pain has been in my fingers. He started me on a mild prescription and increased it a little on a subsequent visit. Everything he does or says seems to help me control the arthritis. I am glad to have him and his facility and staff serving the community I call home.

I have been going to Dr. Shahouri for 2 years. He is not only an OUTSTANDING arthritis specialists, but a doctor who truly cares about his patients overall health and care.

WORST PLACE EVER!!!!! They don't see new patients after 2:30 so if you have a job until 3 and can't take the time off work you won't be a patient here. Basically you have to choose between your job and your health! Thanks for nothing!!!!! Being only 1 of 2 rheumatology places in Wichita I guess you can operate like that. Extremely ridiculous. When checking in you have to wait in line for a long time because it is a very busy clinic and when you are in pain because of RA this is not helpful. I went a long time without seeing Dr. Shahouri and I remembered why after making my last appointment. He is cocky, arrogant, and rude. He told me I should be thankful that it is moderate RA and I really don't need to be put on anything but he would put me on a small ml of methotrexate. I switched Doctors after that and went to a physician through VA Christi. She is very friendly and actually cares about what you are going through. Don't ever settle for a doctor because you think they are the only one if they don't treat you with respect and dignity move on. I had a postive visit I see Stacey she's very friendly and can tell if I'm in pain or don't feel good when I walk in they got me on right meds were I wasn't hurting after being in pain and countless Doctors they help me.

My name is Sandra Bruce. I have had juvenile rheumatoid arthritis since I was around 8. I had my first hip replacement at 16. All my doctors made me feel as though I were nothing more than a Guinea pig. So I stopped with doctors. I got on prednisone and felt like wonder woman for years. 27 surgery's later, started to slow down. I went from weighing 260 t0 95. From 14 in blood to 6. No energy. Was put on hospice.no one had a clue what was wrong. Till dr shahouri came along. He saved my life. He got me on a biologic and did all he could do to save me. He believes inwhat he does. He has a bad neck and knows what it's like to hurt. He does not hand out pain pills to cover up a problem,he fixes the problem. I will always have arthritis,but I am walking my dogs. I am not in a wheel chair and I am not dead. I love my life and I thank God every day that he gave me dr shahouri to save me. I wont live forever. Dr. Shahouri is fantastic to work with; he listens first and really tries to understand your situation. He aggressively treats the disease while making sure that the treatment is appropriate for the patient. He has great connections to other doctors and surgeons and will not hesitate to give a referral if needed. On my very first visit to him he immediately got me x-rays and setup with an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon to replace my knee--and this gave me my life back. He's excellent!

It took about 2.5 weeks before they called me to book an appt. A direct referral from my primary doc no less. The office admin was insistent I go to their Olathe office, which is further away for me than their Wichita office, simply because she had no idea where I lived. She continued to question the town name in which I lived, saying "she had never heard of it before" and continued to insist I go to Olathe. After explaining repetitively that I wanted to specifically see the doctor my primary doc recommended, she booked an appt. I was given the option to wait 2 months to have an appt with just the doctor, or I 'could get in earlier' if I agreed to see their nurse practitioner first, then the doctor in the same day. To me, this sounds like an insurance scam. It makes no sense. I don't need their nurse practitioner. Their new patient packet & website are seriously underwhelming. Additionally, on the Google business profile, I find this spectacular picture of who I assume is the doctor and his new bride at a very lavish wedding. Dr. Shahouri is an excellent doctor. My appointment moved along very efficiently and all the staff were friendly and professional. Dr. Shahouri got to an answer for my painful symptoms and I finally have relief. I'm so glad to have Dr. Shahouri caring for me.

10/2015- Dr. diagnosed me with RA. The staff: Front desk loud and unprofessional. . The Office Manager condescending. The phlebotomist rude, non caring no compaction.. Overall the facility staff do not care about how they treat you. They can hurt you physically and mentally, give no explanation, herd you like cattle. But if you question them they accused of being abusive; sending a letter to my GP, but never having a discussion with me. They are cowards and in caring. I was abused!

Dr. Shahouri diagnosed me with a very rare autoimmune disease; for that I will give him credit. He then put me on a medication that didn't agree with me, but he refused to try anything else. Each visit lasted about ten minutes. When I tried to tell him that I was having severe hip pain, he dismissed me and told me that it wasn't part of my disease, even though everything I'd read said it was. I completely lost faith in his treatment and became fed up with his condescending attitude. I fired him.
