Very rude front desk staff. Woman took my insurance information down wrong on the phone. Was informed I needed to reschedule because they didn’t have my insurance information even though I gave them a card in person. Highly unprofessional. Am shocked a doctor would want this type of behavior repressing his name.

I have suffered with seasonal allergies and asthma since I was a child (I am now 73). I have seen numerous allergists over the years with less than anticipated results. Thanks to Dr. Schurman, I am now able to exercise vigorously and am, basically, symptom free. Also, Dr. Schurman recently treated me for a "cold" with excellent results after I was mis-diagnosed by a major medical facility! His staff is courteous, efficient and professional. Rarely do I have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. I would highly recommend Dr. Schurman and his staff to anyone seeking treatment for allergies and/or asthma.

Avoid avoid avoid. Office is old and dated. No electronic paperwork sent ahead, all by hand. Showed up early for an appointment and didn't get through till an hour later even though other people came and went and I was alone for about 40 minutes. I was the only patient there, and didn't get through until I said something to reception who had to go check what the doctor was up to. Speaking with a doctor shouldn't feel like an interrogation. Even my intake form was incorrect by so much. Multiple times I was interrupted, dismissed and at one point he even suggested I was imagining my symptoms. The energy here is just awful. The experience was honestly one of my worst visits to a medical professional in my life. This place is for some. But it's not for all. That is abundantly clear. BIPOC, personally, I would say, AVOID! Dr. Schurman and his staff have helped me immensely in overcoming my many allergies over the last 6 months. I was found to have allergy related asthma and the shots and prescribed medications have allowed me to breathe regularly again without the terrible cough and mucous production. I highly recommend him.

Yes i would recommend Dr. Schurman and his staff to manage all of a person's allergy problems. Very kind and Dr. knows his practice well.

I have suffered with increasing allergies for years. I finally made the decision to address them and see if there was any help to get them under control. I researched providers through my insurance and reviews and decided to meet with Dr. Schurman. from the first appointment, he has really taken the time to listen to what was going on and making a plan to improve my quality of life. I started with Allergy shots about 1 year ago. I am almost 100 percent better than I was at this time last year. I am coughing less, being able to sleep at night, not having sinus issues all the time. He is very responsive to any concerns but right now I have not felt better in at least 15 years. I wish I would have found him earlier!

I had eosinophilic esophagitis and after being treated by Dr. Schurman, I have no more symptoms!!

Dr. Schurman is very professional, informed and concise. He explains things very well and always checks to be sure your understand. His staff is also very good and helpful. I would recommend to my family and friends.

This Doctor asked the patient to came for to many visit to billed the insurance more money and the patient will not get batter.

My son was treated there and the insurance was billed incorrectly. I got there and they stated that I had a balance. At the same time I had lost my job and didn't have no insurance, so i was paying full fee.I agreed to pay the appoint that day but I didn't have enough for the balance at that moment. The dr. Schurman refused to see my son. He was being treated for acute asthma at that time. I'm a health care provider as well and I have autonomy to decided what the circumstances you can open a exception for a pt that need treatment. I would never do nothing like that to my patients. Disappointed and sad that people like that exist. Even though was their own staff error and I was willing to pay the balance but I came unprepared to pay for the appointment and for the balance that they let me know at the spot. Oh staff incredible rude and unhelpful. My son was taking antibiotics and the dr. forgot to give refills on it. So I called. They didn't want to help and end up my son stop the antibiotic before time and that c cause him to relapse. I got back my insurance and I choose Dr. Gaston Turnier allergy and asthma specialist. Staff and doctor are the best and cant say enough good things!!! And it works and I can breathe and no sinus heads in years thanks to them

Dr. Schurman's office staff is very attentive and efficient, restricting number of people in waiting area who are there for shots, tests or to see the doctor; all extra people who aren't there to be seen or treated must wait outside. I appreciate that with CV-19 being a current obstacle. Dr. Schurman does the sensitivity tests on the skin; his results are consistent with a test I'd had years earlier. Prescribed meds whether from scripts or OTC have been thoroughly effective, and I am grateful to feel so well.

I have had a few allergists over the years, and have been very impressed with Dr Schurman and his office . in the year that I have been treated, I have a marked improvement. Instead of just prescribing pills, he takes into account your environment and diet, reducing dependence on medication

Dr Schurman is very thorough. He takes his time with you and really listens. I can finally breathe through my nose! Highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Schurman has done more for me in the 10 months I've been his patient than any of my other doctors have ever done for me since I was diagnosed with my asthma at the age of 10. Dr schurman has helped me with my severe allergies..

This is the worst office and billing staff! They do not bill the proper codes to the insurance company. My insurance provider has been fighting with them for months to send in the proper information. The insurance provider has left messages for the doctor to call her about the bill but his has not. I must start by saying that Dr. Schurman is a very caring and knowledgeable doctor, and that he will go the extra mile for patients. The issue is with their billing. After improperly coding and submitting a claim for over $1,200 for serum preparation, etc. my health insurance rejected the claim. My insurance stated that the service is fully covered and that if the doctor's office would resubmit with proper coding it would be paid. They resubmitted the same claim with the same coding and it was denied. After several re-submissions of the same coding, they gave up and started billing me for the large sum IN VIOLATION OF THEIR AGREEMENT with my insurance provider. After MANY letters threatening to send the $1,200+ amount to collections, again in violation of their agreement, they seemed to have given up. Over the weekend, I received a collections letter for what I can only assume is my co-pay for the last time I received service from them, which was OVER A YEAR AGO. The letter gives the date of service as early last month, which is a falsification. WHY CAN'T THEY BE HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL? I would be happy to pay the co-pay, which is the patient's (my) responsibility, if I had been invoiced for that amount. But no... as an act of spite, they sent it directly to collections. I really like dr Shurman. When I made my appt the girl at the desk didn’t know if it were s. del Prado or n del Prado, which really matters to a new patient. At my first appt I told her the difference, as that same address is at n Del Prado also, and her response was to defensively show me a card where she looked to get the address. The card did’nt differentiate between n. & s. Hey, guess she just doesn’t care to be helpful. That’s how young ones are nowadays, not willing to do anything extra

Dr Seth is a no-nonsense doctor with a pleasant smile. I sought a specialist for my allergy induced asthma, as I was literally choking to death. My rescue inhaler wasn't working as expected and no OTC medicines were helping either. Within a few months, Dr Seth had me under control. It has been a few years now that I have been receiving allergy shots, (as I requested), modifying my diet as advised by the doctor, and I continue to improve!

The red haired nurse missed up on my shots. I complained & she lied. I complained to the Doctor & we looked at my shot record. It was all written in just her handwriting even though I had had shots from 3 different nurse. Each nurse writes her record on the shot card. When I pointed that out to Dr Schurman he said "I would not know about that" I was so disappointed. He must have been warned I was going to complain & he chose to cover it up. Get retested yearly or he'll keep you on shots

Healthcare is such a scam, Called Dr Schurman office to get a price to bring in my son for allergy testing and we do not have insurance , I was told it would be $257 to talk about it with DR and from there she refused to give any cost for the testing or cost for future follow up visits with the DR. So the scam is you give $257 and once they have you they can charge you whatever they feel like . That is like going to Best buy for a new TV , You have to pay $257 to get in the door to look at the TVs and once in they can overcharge you whatever for the purchase. DR Shurman is a very knowledgeable doctor. He is up to date on the newest treatments. His office runs smoothly so getting shots goes fast.

I have never experienced such rudeness from a front desk receptionist. I cannot recall her name, (blond, 45 or 50 years of age) was nasty and rude with each visit. The doctor has a problem listening to his patients. The only positive thing I can say is that the techs were very good at their job and very pleasant. I will look for another allergist in the Naples area.

Dr. Schurman and his wonderful staff have taken care of me for 17 years now. When I moved to Naples I was on antibiotics constantly for sinus infections. They got me on the right track and I have had little need for antibiotics over the last decade and a half. The doctor and staff are always very friendly and professional.

He has worked diligently to improve my breathing and allergy suffering. He is very knowledgeable regarding treatments and I am very much improved. He was honest in his recommendations and he stressed it would take a while to improve both my breathing and allergies. I am sleeping the best of my life and continue to improve.

Both my husband and I have been very pleased with the progress we've made since starting with Dr. Schurman. He has helped immeasurably in helping me get control of both my asthma and allergies.

My son started treatment w/ Dr. Schurman due to severe allergic reactions. Dr. Schurman took the time to listen/explain every step of the way. Because he does not use a lot of technology, his care is truly about you as a person and not staring into a computer screen. My son has been receiving care and treatment for one year and we are glad to say that his reactions have stopped. He no longer needs meds and is on the road to a full recovery from his allergies! The office staff are awesome too

My experience with Dr Schurman has been awesome. I had a major sinus infection, that lasted approximately 3 months. After seeing Dr. Schurman, I have not had a one sinus infection in the past five years. I would highly recommend his expertise to any one suffering from sinus issues.

While the doctor is very good and I have no complaints about his expertise or compassion for the patient, the support staff does not have a high level of quality control and do not keep patients informed about changes in office hours. While I only have received shots for less than two months, apparently the hours changed that were given to me on my serum box, and they did not inform the patients. Why anyone would change office hours and not inform the patients, or post new hours at checkout for a patient to observe before leaving, is an example of poor customer service. This is a wonderful, caring allergy doctor! Dr. Schurman is easy to talk to, and very personable. The level of care is first class. He is why with the medications he prescribes I feel so much better since being his patient. I would strong recommend Dr. Schurman to anybody!
