Seth Kaplan MD is a wonderful gastro doctor, and I have to give him credit for my quality of life. He's thorough, listens intently, he's friendly, and gets the treatment right. Great doctor.

Dr. Kaplan is great. i have seen him for about 8 years. He takes his time and i have never felt rushed during any of my visits. He clearly explains the findings. I highly recommend him for any gastro needs.

I starting seeing Dr. Kaplan 16 years ago after a traumatic experience with the only female gastroenterologist practicing in the Raleigh area. Due to my anxiety following my previous experience (during a colonoscopy), Dr. Kaplan was willing to be patient with me and offer assurances that made me calm and trusting of him. He has performed at least four endoscopies and a colonoscopy on me and each procedure went well with no problems. My husband has become a patient of his also.

He does not spend any time listening or getting to know his patients. He also appears not to keep current (even up through 1996) with regard to his field. Look to me that when he graduated in 1994, he that's all I ever need to know. Do yourself a big favor and find another gastroenterologist!
