Dr. Seth Branahl

I’m a mom of five, I have a medical child who’s been in and out of the hospital since birth, 13 surgeries, seems hundreds of specialist doctors between Ca and Ohio. Branahl was the absolute worst doctor I’ve ever met. Very condescending, pompous, and very pushy. For a man who does not have children, he sure wanted to tell me what I was doing wrong, or not doing enough of. He made my child super uncomfortable when it came time to check the private area, and my son has been naked in front of dozens and dozen of doctors. I’ve never, ever experienced that with any of of my children before, either. I couldn’t get have his office fast enough. Find a doctor who is a parent, and understands your concerns and is willing to listen to you, and not just tell you how he would do it.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Branahl. He is great with my son and he is kind and truly wants to do what is in the best interest of children. He is honest and kind. I have never had any problems scheduling an appointment with him. He helped me get the educational help my son needed at school and provided me with all the information I needed to make an informed decision. He takes his time and I have never felt rushed and I've always left his office with all my questions answered. He is the BEST!!

He was the on call pediatrician when I delivered my last baby. Terrible encounter that left me in tears. I have debated on filing a formal complaint with the hospital over his deplorable bedside manner and condescending demeanor. When I actually started crying and told him he was bullying me and needed to leave my room he threw his hands in the air and said “well I apologize and I’m sorry then.” And stormed out. It was honestly so crazy I still can’t believe it happened. very very off putting doctor.

He listens to us very carefully and answers all questions. Unlike most other doctors he doesn’t seem like he is busy and just want to finish appointment. My new born’s and 3.5 yrs old doctor and I have always seen him very attentive and keen with the checkups. We just moved out from Boise otherwise trust me he is one of the best and caring doctor for your kids.

He is always super friendly, cares so much about our daughter and answers any questions we have. He also isn’t afraid to tell it like it is and we love that. No need to beat around the bush with stuff.

We have had a hard time finding a pediatrician for our children. The first one moved then the second one retired. So, we decided, with out first meeting Dr. Branahl to schedule an appointment with him for our 2 year check up about one year ago. He wasn't available, and we saw another doctor in the office. During our visit the doctor referred us to ENT specialist which led to surgery. The next two times we have tried to schedule with him he wasn't in. Having never actually met him, I cannot judge him personally. However, to have him listed as our pediatrician for almost a year and never being able to schedule an appointment with him because he is out of the office is unacceptable. We will be looking for a new pediatrician.
