Nothing against Dr Han . I asked her if surgery was covered by Medicare and she said " check with receptionist". Why can't people be honest when asked a question? I was told that I would have to "book" the surgery date in order to find out if it was covered under my insurance (My insurance being Medicare, I would assume they would know already if it was covered for fixing a deviated septum) Its not like I was the 1st Patient with Medicare to come to hr office. "We won't look unless you are serious because it's so much work".

Dr. Han is extremely knowledgeable and so personable. I felt comfortable asking her questions I was unsure about. Would highly recommend seeing her. I’m breathing air in places my nose never could before!

Dr. Han's invested approach in your health is comforting. She's great at explaining/walking patients through their health concerns. I've experienced ear/nose issues my entire life and feel extremely comfortable with Dr. Han's care and high skill level of medical advise. Her staff is professional and the new office is clean and very welcoming. Thanks again Dr. Han!

I'm sure Dr. Han is a decent plastic surgeon but this is to address her professionalism / diagnostic abilities as well as the front desk unprofessionalism / flirting with HIPAA violation. 1.) While in waiting room: Front Desk 1: "Hey do you want to make a bet?" Front Desk 2: "What kind of bet?" Front Desk 1: "I bet you _____ will not show up for her appointment today." Front Desk 2: Front Desk 1: "She hasn't shown up to ANY of her appointments...I bet you someone she knows is making appointments for her, and she just keeps not showing up. She NEVER shows up." Why are we making bets on patients? In the waiting room? Isn't announcing her name on day of her appointment a violation against HIPAA? 2.) I called to confirm my 1:15pm appointment. Asked if I should come in early to fill-out paperwork. Told no, come at 1:15pm. I showed-up at 1:10pm. Given paperwork. Waited in waiting room until 1:40-1:50pm to see doctor despite being early...The waiting room was just me and Dr. Han was not seeing any patients before me. I heard Dr. Han taking a phone call from a patient halfway into my wait. 1.) Ignored my concerns or facts. Dr. Han: You seem fine today! (This is our first time meeting) Me: Yes but I've been so dizzy to the point I'm on the couch for 6 hours to a whole day for past 5 weeks. It comes and goes unpredictably. I'm fine today, but was on the couch for whole day 2 days ago. Dr. Han: You seem fine today. 2.) Shoved nose numbing syringe into nose without explanation. Tried to do same with nasal endoscopy (note this 8 inch plastic tube goes into your nose and deep down). Just stood in front of me with this 8 inch tube and said "This is going to be really uncomfortable for you." I had to raise my hand up to stop and ask "Is that going into my nose?" 3.) MRI discussion: Dr. Han: We can do an MRI. Me: For what? Dr. Han: Checkoff [brain tumor]. Maybe hold-off on MRI, actually. Me: May I ask why we should hold-off on MRI? Dr. Han: (Looks at me blankly) Me: Is it cost reasons? Dr. Han: "Some patients are uncomfortable with how confined the MRI machine is" Me: (Stunned because I am not claustrophobic) "I'm fine with confined spaces...Can I get pre-authorized for that?" Dr. Han: "Yes. But I would need you to be certain you want to go through with MRI." Me: "...Why?" Dr. Han: "Because to get pre-authorization, it's a lot of paperwork for my Front Desk. So if you get pre-authorized, and decide not to go through with [MRI], then it just caused my Front Desk a lot of paperwork for nothing." Me: (Stunned. Realizing inconveniencing Front Desk is more important than possibly finding out if I have brain tumor or not to this Doctor. I sat in silence from shock of realization) Dr. Han: (Maybe realized how ridiculous this sounded) I'll have them check pre-authorization. I went to the Front Desk on my way out and it took 3 minutes to pre-authorize. Virtual paperwork. I got a call 15 minutes later confirming pre-authorization. 15 minutes for possibly identifying patient might have something in their brain? I think it's worth it...Is that not part of job description? What you are employing them for? 4.) Talked down on Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. Twice. Dr. Han: You saw 3 NP's Me: I saw 1 NP and 2 PA's Dr. Han: "OK but sometimes they don't know what they're looking at. They often think it's an ear infection but when I take a look, it's not an ear infection." Me: Well the NP looked at left ear and immediately said 'oh yeah definitely ear infection' so I think she saw something? Dr. Han: (Shrugs it off) Me: When I saw the other urgent care PA they also said 'it's cleaning up nicely' so I think they must've seen the same thing. Dr. Han: (Shrugs it off) Dr. Han then prescribed me another antibiotic despite agreeing it's confusing why the amox-clav would not have cleared everything up. And valium. Despite my constant reiteration that I am not stressed--My previous job 2017-2021 was far, far more stressful. Google treats me well. I'm sure Dr. Han is a decent plastic surgeon but this is to address her professionalism / diagnostic abilities as well as the front desk unprofessionalism / flirting with HIPAA violation. … More

If you want to get a “head” in life and are suffering from physical head issues, then consider seeing Dr. Han. I had wax buildup in my ears which was causing pain. Dr. Han took her small instruments and with some McGyver ingenuity got quite a bit of wax out of my ears. She is professional and no-nonsense. Follow my “sound” advice. Aug Update: Dr. Han kindly reached out to me to fix the situation and offered to see me again to make up for it. It was a smooth experience. I would recommend the doctor herself, she is patient and understanding. Taking 1 star off because my previous visit's experience as below. --------------------- Very angry and disappointed with the office super overcharging ($460 for 10min when no surgery is done) or being not transparent about their charge. I was referred to the office for ear wax removal. Called in advance and ask what the cost can be and was told will not know until finish the visit. On the appointment day, I spent about 5 at most 10minutes with the Dr. Han, ear wax is not completely fixed and was told I need to come back. Then I received a bill of $380 on office visit with code 99240 and $80 on removing ear wax for $80 with code 69210. This is like robbery especially for the office charge part of nearly $400 for that little time spent! I called the office with my insurance provider, as Aetna agrees $380 with code 99240 should be an office visit for about 40 minutes, not 5 or 10 min!! And the office said, well, it is our standard charge. If it is the standard charge, why do you refuse saying that when I first call the office! Dr Han is fantastic. I went in to fix a deviated septum to improve my breathing and it was an absolute success. Dr Han answered all my questions, prepared me thoroughly for the surgery and did a fantastic job. I've never been able to breathe this well. Thank you Dr Han!

I was with the doctor for 10 minutes and they billed me for $600. It turned out that what was bothering me was heartburn/stomach acid. $600 for ten minutes -- is it normal for a doctor to be on the clock for $3,600 per hour? Not happy with this bill.

Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Han! Did an amazing job with surgery to remove tons of polyps in my sinuses & straightened a very deviated septum. Not a hint of bruising or swelling and really, no pain. She also referred me to the dentist for a brooding problem she saw on CAT scan and to an excellent allergist and dermatologist to deal with more associated side issues. VERY HAPPY! P.S. Always returns calls promptly as well.

I saw Dr. Han for a septoplasty and repair of the nasal valve. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience! From my very first visit, Dr. Han made me feel super comfortable - after talking through what surgery would entail - I went home and did research on my own. I then came back a few weeks later and went through all my questions and concerns - Dr. Han was amazing. She was very patient and clear in what she would be performing during surgery, what recovery would entail, and how lon
