He is rude acts like he knows everything when you ask too much he says he isn’t that smart. Ignored my ear pulsing luckily his colleague sent me to do testing and found a blood clot in my brain. He doesn’t care about patients every single time I went to him was stressful he doesn’t listen. Why be a doctor if you are rude, unprofessional and doesn’t want to help?

Dr. Houston is kind, compassionate, down to earth and an all around awesome person. He cares for his patients, always on point, and extremely educated. Our family loves and adores him!

Dr. Houston is very professional. Although he doesn't waste time, he takes time to read reports thoroughly. He explains everything fully and listens well to questions so that he can answer them completely. Dr. Houston gives his recommendation for treatment. He is willing and, in fact, encourages me to make decisions based on his recommendations as well as in consideration of the other medical conditions I have.

I think the doctor is very smart. But, he’s so bluntly unfriendly I started to laugh in the middle of the appointment. I wouldn’t say he’s mean or nasty, but he just doesn’t seem to care much about a patient’s feelings. He will definitely cut you off and he won’t look you in the eye or shake your hand when he comes into the room or leave. He’ll solve your issue, but the experience may leave you feeling bad for a few days after.

The audiologist Danielle Wall and Dr Houston along with the medical assistant and all the receptionists were very kind and professional. The testing and the results were explained thoroughly. Highly recommend Coastal ENT in Neptune.

My experience was very good w/dr houston. I was very impressed w/his office staff!! They were patient, & friendly. I find some offices in this area(south Jersey) seem to be impatient & rude w/seniors. This was not the case in this office!!!!

Very painful, my ear was infected and he had to open the canal. The good news is with medication I can now hear.

When I asked him if my condition could get worse, he said, "I don't know, I don't have a crystal ball". I agree with all the other one stars. If I could give him less, I would.

This was my first appointment with Dr. Houston. I found him to be very professional. He addressed every question I had asked and I found him to be very confident. Which is fine by me...

When you find a doctor who is excellent in his practice, treats you more like family than just another patient and goes above and beyond his scope to refer you to a different specialist to ensure you get the best care possible, you’ve hit the trifecta! That’s Dr. Sean Houston, ENT at Coastal Ear, Nose, Throat and Balancing Center. I believe there are angels among us disguised as humans albeit unbeknownst to themselves. I'm convinced Dr. Houston is one of them.

If you are looking for a doctor who is rude, self imporant, condesending and demeaning by all means make an appointment with Dr Houston. If he were the only doctor who could cure me I would have to die!

Dr. Houston was a pleasure and knows his business. Office staff was nice. Office is large and very clean. Only downside was I was kept waiting for a while, but if everything else is good, it's worth the wait. Aside from wait, I highly recommend.

I am a patient and have visited multiple times for ear tubes. Dr Houston was very rude. He never let you ask questions about the future only focused on present. I had ear and nose issues and he told me to pick one to fix. He was always using metaphors that didn’t make sense. His nursing staff is AMAZING AND FRIENDLY, he should learn from them. The last visit he made such a rude comment that I was on the verge fighting back tears. I will not be returning nor will I ever recommend him.

Dr. Houston is extremely skilled. He has an extensive breadth of knowledge & is highly proficient. I am confident in his abilities & am grateful that he was able to help us. He is caring & compassionate. He would do everything in his power to achieve the best result. He doesn’t simply treat a medical condition but rather he treats the individual and he appreciates how a person’s illness affects the family. He is the rare combination of an expert in medical science & a truly good person.

Dr. Houston is insightful and one of the smartest men I've ever met! He was life-changing for my son finding a problem with his adenoids that was dripping into his lungs. After years of being sick my son Daniel is now healthy!I encouraged my daughter to bring my grandson there!

Rude, arrogant, an absolute jerk. Talks over you as you ask questions. Gives patronizing answers with the most ridiculous metaphors. Is late and then barely spends any time examining you.
