I have been a patient for many years & I think Dr. Davitt is great. I trust him with my eyes & he is always interested in my overall health as well as my vision. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Davitt annually since 2004 and couldn't imagine a better doctor. The fitter for lenses and glasses, Andy, is also great. I just called to report that one of my contact lenses is irritating (must be a defect from the manufacturer) and he's sending me a new lens, no questions asked. Keep up the great work!! My wife and I have been going to the NCH office for decades.The office certainly isn't much to look at and desperately needs updating, but keep the fish tank! I felt a need to submit a review after reading others comments, because that is just not my experience. In all my years, including just a few weeks ago, I have always been treated well at the front desk. A little bit of confusion maybe, but always professional and helpful. Even a few light hearted laughs now and then. We see Dr. Davitt and he is a well educated and a caring thoughtful physician with a focus on his patients. I like him very much and trust him with my eyes. He always takes his time explaining things and I never feel rushed. Front desk is absolutely awful and rude. Especially the dark lady at check out. Not to mention who ever answers the phone is rude, clueless, and can never answer my questions. The older lady who techs is also quite rude. I have been coming to this office for year and will never return simply because the staff is useless. Also it’s a complete hassle to get my drops sent to my pharmacy. Worst ophthalmology practice I’ve ever been too. Not to mention the build is not up to code. I have seen the doctors in this group for years. Back in April, I went for a Friday appointment, but the doctor had been out all week. I thought maybe I messed up on the date. No. They just didn't bother to call to let me know. She said they didn't have my number. I have had this number for over 20 years. They had it. That was a young woman and she was incredibly rude. Well, I called back today to schedule an appt. I was told I have never been there. The woman said I've made several appts, but have always cancelled them. NO! I do not do that. I have been going there for many, many years. She offered to set me up with an appt. I just don't know what to do. Dr. Davitt is fantastic! His front office staff seems to not be on their best game lately. All these years, they offered a much higher level of professionalism. Please fix this! I loved the experienced when I went to Dr.Davitt’s office. His lobby has a beautiful fish tank which brightens the whole place up. The front desk was tolerable and could be better but when I visited Dr.Davitt himself he was very nice and professional and is very skilled at what he does and it was definitely worth it to go to his amazing office. This place has some very rude front desk people. No people skills at all. I been going to Dr. Devitt for years and the front staff is the worst I seen
