I had terrible shoulder pain and lost use of my right are. He found and removed a bonespur that completely severed my biceps tendon and completely tore my rotator cuff. Wisotsky repaired it all. I m now a very happy 67 year old lady with full functionality of both arms.

This was my first time visiting OAWF. The care I received from everyone was so good. Dr Wisotsky and his PA took great care in explaining everything to me. The nurse who took my initial history was so kind. I will definitely recommend Dr Wisotsky to any of my friends who need his services.

I had an outpatient surgery removing a cyst from one of my fingers. The staff was excellent and extremely friendly. And the experience was like being in a hospital with your family taking care of you. Dr. Wisotsky is fantastic. He explained the exact procedure to me in a simple and understandable way. he is friendly, kind and professional. I am very happy that my primary doctor recommended him.

I have had two surgeries conducted by Dr. Wisotsky. I have recovered from the first Stablix implant on my right thumb. I have a full range of motion with my thumb. I am recovering from the same procedure on my left thumb. Dr. Wisotsky was always professional and courteous. I would highly recommend him for surgery.

Had thumb reconstruction May 2022. Answers questions and uses injections as a path to eventual surgery for me. Friendly office staff and GREAT PAs. He is sought after and has a 2 or 3 month wait . I put myself on a cancellation list and was texted an earlier date offer.

I stopped trying to get an appt until my fingers started locking up. I started calling again. Finally got a call back after a couple weeks to only be hung up on after trying to get my Military ID for insurance as I was outside in my pool. I called back immediately and had to leave a message and called back for 4 days leaving a message. It’s been 2-3 weeks and still no return call. While snowmobiling out west I flipped the snowmobile on top of me and hurt my right shoulder. Doctor Wisotsky was wonderful . Fell confidant in getting full range of motion in my arm

I was recommended by another surgeon that I have known for 20 years. He recommended Dr. Wisotsky I met him and had confidence that he will perform the surgery I need for my hands.

All staff wonderful, very attentive and professional. Dr. Wisotsky answered all my questions, listened attentively, spent time with me. Did not give the impression that he was rushed and needed to get to his next patient despite running late after an emergency surgery.

The wait was a little long but the care was top notch. It took a minimum amount of time to diagnose and explain the care options. The wait time to prep for the treatment was short. Check in, check out, was very quick and efficient. Dr Scott put me at ease and I feel confident my problem is in good hands.

Dr Wisotsky is very capable, I'm sure, but his office is another matter. I was told I needed carpal tunnel release surgery and was given a number to call for scheduling. Lynn's message says she will call back within 48 hrs. It was 5 days. We then played telephone tag for several days. She left a message assuring me she would be in her office the next day and we would talk. When I called, I got the same 48 hr. message and she has never called back. I will see another doctor

Dr. Scott is unbelievable so nice and actually cares about you he may be very busy and there’s a extremely long wait after you check in, so if you plan accordingly it should not be a big deal and he is worth the wait. Dr Wisotsky was very amicable and explained n detail what my issue could be and what options were available to resolve the discomfort in my shoulder. I was very delighted with all the Staff and recommend his practice.

After a very thorough examination, Dr Wisotsky ordered x-rays to confirm what he suspected was the problem with my shoulder. He shared the results with me and explained what he saw in my x-rays. first visit with his staff, very thorough. The nurse and his PA,(female) answered all my questions. And they LISTENED to what I had to say.

Very good listener- listened to details of my injury, saw photos and took time to review the “negative” ( per radiologist at “MRI Associates of Palm Harbor”) MRI done at another facility. ( my insurance wouldn’t cover an MRI@ his office) I knew that there was NO WAY the MRI was normal since I heard and felt a rupture, and had thumb extension issues still, 10 months post injury. Happy to say Dr Wisotsky saw the issue on MRI, confirmed with physical exam and wasn’t aggressively recommending surgery. Just because you CAN fix doesn’t always mean that’s necessary. His expertise, thorough exam, history taking and experience are so appreciated! I worked in health care including OR, recovery and pain management my whole career so feel qualified saying he’s terrific!! From the moment I entered Dr Wisotsky office, I felt welcome. I had several issues filling out the tablet questionnaire, however the young lady at the front desk was wonderful. Dr. Wisotsky is a patient and caring physician. He is extremely knowledgeable with a great "bed side" manner. He explained everything, even a shot, thoroughly so I was informed and comfortable with his advise. He recently performed my right shoulder replacement surgery and all went as he said it would. I highly recommend Dr. Wisotsky for anyone in need of upper body orthopedic needs.

I've used Dr. Wisotsky two times - the first for Dupruytrens syndrome and most recently for two trigger toms procedures. In both instances, Dr. Wisotsky was knowledgeable and informative, and displayed great empathy. He performed all procedures in a professional manner, and I could not be happier with him and his staff.

Dr. Wisotsky and his staff are highly knowledgeable and well trained. Dr. Wisotsky explained everything thoroughly so I was well informed and extremely confident of his surgical ability. He replaced my shoulder and all went as he had explained it would. I won't trust my orthopedic care to anyone else. Dr. Wisotsky and his team are the only choice for me. Dr. Wisotsky did surgery on my elbow for an entrapped nerve. Surgery was only partially effective in restoring control of the last three fingers on my right hand. Left me with a rigidness in my whole hand including the first finger and a shaking tremor that is constant. Follow up was perfunctory, and not with the doctor, with issues left unanswered. I would not recommend.

June 21, 2021 I had LRTI surgery, right hand. Dr Wisotsky had previously done Rotator Cuff surgery four years ago, right shoulder. It was completely successful. When I learned I needed LRTI surgery, I didn't give it a second thought! Dr Wistosky was my surgeon of choice. His PA is very informative. Dr Wistosky has a calming manner and offers assurance. However! Be prepared to wait a very very long time in the waiting room. I have great confidence in this current surgery, although recovery is painful, and expect a full recovery.

I had reviewed this after my visit as a 4 to 5 star but after 3 weeks of leaving messages on a few people's voicemails and on the patient portal I am very disappointed with the response I received. Dr. Wistowski was wonderful and knew I had been in a wrist guard for too many weeks...having inflammation and stiffness and he ordered Occupational Therapy which I am still going to and still am not able to do any weight bearing exercises as of yet let alone any repetitive motions. Dr. Wisotsky said it was a sprain and he normally would not say I should stay out of work but that I could for 6 more weeks because of the nature of my job. Unfortunately, I was handed my script and other paperwork as I checked out and did not notice until I got home that I did not have a doctor excuse. That is when my ratings began to fall. Associates were very polite and Dr. was informative. The down side is I had at least a 30 minute wait to get called back into a room. I would like to thank everyone everyone for there assistance

The only reason I gave four stars cuz I had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment. Dr Witosky and staff were professional, courteous and experienced. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Wisotsky was very thorough and personable. Checked into exam room right on time. Waited in exam room for the Dr. over 30 minute's after seeing the tech. Would have received a 10 had the wait for the Dr. not took so long.

It’s difficult to think about leaving home to go to dr office during this COVID-19 pandemic but Dr Wisotsky’s office does its best to make it safe and worthwhile going.

The staff was friendly and when the doctor decided I needed X-rays they were able to do that quickly right there.

Dr. Wiskotsky is amazing! I am so glad I found him. I had a needle in my finger that broke and was stuck where I could not even see it. It was hitting the bone and was quite uncomfortable. He took care of my problem immediately. It was such a relief. He will definitely be my Orthopedic doctor if I ever need one again.
