Dr. Scott Andrew Welsh

Dr. Welsh is excellent. I went to him experiencing shoulder pain, he got me to a diagnosis quickly, and succinctly laid out a treatment plan. I'd recommend him to anyone.

I can't say enough to express my appreciation and gratitude for Dr. Welsh. I had a painful medial meniscus tear and Dr. Welsh did an excellent job cleaning it up surgically...beyond my expectations. He also found a smaller lateral meniscus tear while in there and cleaned it up also. He is very competent at what he does and also is genuinely concerned about his patients and really explains things well. He went over the MRI very thoroughly, not only once, but a second time the day of the surgery. He's an angel as far as I am concerned.

Dr. Welsh never pressured me to accept any treatment. However, he clearly explained each procedure and told me what to expect.

I use to work with Dr.Welsh in Tampa Florida he also did a couple surgeries on my knee. He's not only a amazing Doctor but also an amazing person. I was his Secretary/Medical Assistant when he started his clinic.

I can't say enough good things about Dr Welsh and his great Staff. I found him while searching the internet and for someone to fix a torn meniscus and damaged ligament in my right knee. I had a great experience with the surgical center that Dr Welsh uses also. He proved to me that he deserves 5 stars because of the great results from the knee surgery he performed.

With a knee prob, I saw 2 other ortho drs, who recommended cortisone injs until I couldn't take it - then total knee replacement. Dr. Welsh spent a generous amt of time with me, reviewing my MRI and Xrays with me. He offered several options, none were a total knee for 20+ years, esp since that particular joint was in good condition. The options offered were directly related to the prob with my knee, specifically. It is also obvious, he/staff sincerely care.

Kind, empathetic, GREAT listener, resourceful, careful but knows when to act - hands down, my first choice for orthopedic care.
