I was very hesitant to have the abdominoplasty done. I searched for a while to find a doctor who I felt comfortable with and treated me as a person, not just another patient. I consulted with Dr. Tucker at Salem Plastic Surgery and knew immediately he was the one. He listened and offered education and knowledge, I booked my surgery asap! I am so happy with the results! All of the office and supporting staff are so friendly and helpful! Dr Tucker was recommended to me by several people who had had various medical issues and great resolutions thanks to Dr Tucker. He comes in to help if you have any problems, even on holidays, rather than sending someone else. He takes time to answer questions, and gets to the point. After visiting several local plastic surgeons in this area, I'm glad I chose Salem plastic surgery for my Ex-plant surgery. Very helpful and caring.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Tucker when he did my otoplasty (ear pinning surgery). This surgery is most effective when performed on young children and I was, well, nearly 45 years old when I had the procedure. When my right ear started to “pop out” several months post op, a common occurrence when the surgery is performed on more “mature” patients, Dr. Tucker offered to do a revision at no additional cost. Now, I’m happily wearing pony tails and tucking my hair behind my ears!

Dr. Tucker and his team provided a great experience from consultation to the final follow up appointment. I am so happy with my results and will always recommend Salem Plastic Surgery!

From office staff, to nurses, to the doctor himself, I felt like I was surrounded by kind, caring family. In September, 2020, I faced a life change when I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in my right breast. I had to find my own surgeon, and was given the names of five surgeons. After researching each one, I chose Dr. David Carr. I didn’t know at the time, but this surgeon and Dr. Scott Tucker, plastic surgeon, had already been working together for over 22 years. Cancer doesn’t mess around, and even though mine was small, I opted for a bilateral mastectomy, with an immediate start of reconstruction in the surgical room. The first time I met Dr. Tucker, I knew I had the best. He listened, answered my questions, and explained my options. During the mastectomy, insertion of tissue expanders (which slowly stretch the skin), many appointments of saline injections into the expanders, and my many questions, he was there with patience and explanations. On March 17, 2021, I had one more surgery to exchange my tissue expanders for my desired size of permanent breast implants. I had no anxiety that morning, only a feeling of calm. When you have 100% trust in your plastic surgeon, you have no worries. My outcome was nothing less than amazing! Dr. Tucker is an experienced, impressive, and highly skilled plastic surgeon—a masterful artist! I am forever grateful to him and his wonderful staff, and will be sad when I no longer get to see them on a regular basis! As a Two-Time Breast Cancer Survivor, I have been fortunate to have Dr. Scott Tucker as my Plastic Surgeon. Obviously we patients want a doctor who is Professionally Smart and Skilled in his field of expertise. But we also want someone who is Personally Kind, Understanding, and Concerned about the well-being of his patients. Taking the time to listen to our questions and answer them in a calm and reassuring manner is also extremely important. Without a doubt, Dr. Tucker exhibits these Professional and Personal Qualities. However, he is not just a "GREAT" Plastic Surgeon. His genuine Commitment to helping ALL patients and meeting their individual needs with his "Attention to Detail" is what makes him so "GOOD TO" and "GOOD FOR" all those patients who cross his path. I am definitely Lucky and Glad to be one of them!

Dr Tucker did Breast Reconstruction Surgery for me after a bilateral mastectomy. I just can’t say enough POSITIVE things about his skills, bedside manner, staff, etc. fr start to finish Dr Tucker, and everyone at Salem Plastic Surgery, has been EXCELLENT!

When I hit 40, I felt I needed reduce my wrinkles. Since Dr Tucker is my go to for all things cosmetic, of course I called him. He did an amazing job. I moved a couple of years later and did two rounds of injections with another Plastic Surgery office. both times I was disappointed. Needless to say.... Dr Tucker is worth the drive!

Dr. Tucker completed my Breast Cancer Reconstruction. He did a GREAT JOB! I couldn't be more pleased with the results. He also built nipples for me (mind had to be removed) and his staff tattooed 3D nipples on the newly formed nipples. I cried the first time I looked down and saw nipples after nearly a year of them being gone. Good luck to you on your journey. If you decide to go with Dr Tucker, you will be in great hands!

I love Dr. Tucker and Salem Plastic Surgery in Winston-Salem... Dr. Tucker listens to all my (crazy) questions when consulting and have only had great results with procedures that I've had done. Highly recommend

This review is kinda late, but nevertheless still relevant. Had a corrective procedure with Dr Tucker and he was amazing. I would allow him to do all cosmetic procedures on me if needed. Salem Plastic surgery is the go to place for any cosmetic needs. The staff is great and very accommodating as well. Dr Tucker, hands down the best plastic surgeon around???? This Doctor was so professional, yet compassionate to my needs. He knew exactly what I was looking for when I didn’t really know for sure myself. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a bit of a refresh :) God bless!

From day 1 after my implants were placed they looked disfigured. I thought it was just swelling. I had several follow up appointments and not 1 time did he mention that something was wrong. It hasn't been a year yet and they need replacing. One is much larger then the other, sags, and is pulling the other down. I have to now wear a bra 24/7 to help with the discomfort. Even my oncologist said they need repairing and suggested a 2nd opinion. I would not recommend him to anyone.

I had a few things done by Dr Tucker in 2016 and I think he is a very awesome physician. He could not have done a better job with my issues. He also helped my mom with some things and she was very pleased too. I highly recommend him if you have some things you would like to correct, that require a plastic surgery Dr.
