Dr is brilliant but if you have problem no one returns calls and when they do, it’s still days before you get an answer. There is always excuses. He needs to correct this horrible situation.

Dr. Shurmur was my cardiologist when I had a major heart attack on 1-13-2010. I found him to be not only a brilliant doctor, but compassionate and understanding. He also kept me well informed, and satisfactorily answered all of my questions. I highly recommend him

I believe Dr Shurmur to be rather intelligent, but I feel that he did not explain things properly and was brief. When stating I was unsatisfied with the level of care I received and would be seeing another physician, I received the message Let him see [Dr...]. He's kind of a pain anyway. I trust him as a physician, but I will not recommend him.
