Dr Ray has been my PCP for (34) years, my wife's doctor for (26) years. We cherish our relationship and excellent care for all those years. Now that we moved out of his area, we telehealth since he knows our aches and pains so well!

Stop! Don’t Go! The medical care is terrible! I recently had my 90-year-old mother stay at Palm Gardens in Clearwater for rehab. While there she needed medical care and I am her legal healthcare surrogate. Dr Ray was the physician assigned to her by the facility along with his Physician’s Assistant, Chris. Both the doctor and Chris seemed disinterested, had poor communication and a complete lack of response to questions I had regarding my mother’s health. During a rare personal visit, the doctor finally came to talk to my mother while I was there. In response to my questions he said, “I am monopolizing everyone’s time.” I responded, if you didn’t get answers to important health questions and it was your mother, I am sure you wouldn’t stop until you got answers too. When I relayed my concerns about this doctor to Palm Gardens staff they indicated they were also frustrated with his communication and disappointed with his service.

My legs were covered with flat red dots. I called my primary who is an ARPN here and they wouldn't see me. I had to go to a walk-in clinic to find out I had a platelet rash. The day I called, the person on the phone was completely rude and unprofessional. I do not recommend this practice.

The best Doctor I have ever had. Experienced, nice bedside manner, knowledgeable, caring and he likes the Bucs & Bolts!

Wonderful doctor who always listens and takes care of his patients. I’ve been a patient for 25 years and even though I’ve moved I will keep coming back to Dr. Ray.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ray for probably close to 20 years. I love the fact he takes his time with me to listen and give great advice. I was concerned when he switched to BayCare but once I visited it's an amazing office and found procedures are actually easier to get completed & scheduled. Staff is wonderful as well.

The norm with Dr. Scott Ray is excellence. He's been our primary care physician for over ten years now and even though we moved from the area we, on occasion, commute over 100 miles for the awesome care given by Dr. Ray.

Always provides caring, useful care to my 93 year old mom.

STAY AWAY

Patient beware...wouldn't write a prescription for Zyrtec-D because it's been too long since I've been in. (Dr. Rosalind Jordan APRN) It's an over-the-counter medicine, for Allergies. I guess a patient's health isn't important enough to call in a prescription, unless $$$ are collected from my insurance company for a office call. Guess, I'll be finding another doctor. I appreciate how Doctor Ray is willing to take time to explain my bloodwork or goals for next visit. I suffered for years with respiratory infections and he correctly diagnosed me and created a great health plan for me. I enjoy his office staff and the homey decor.

Saw Dr. Ray on Monday 1/27/20. He has been my primary for nearly 20 years. As usual, he is the best Doctor I've ever had. I am a retired RN and have worked with many many doctors, have had several primary doctors over the years, have had a number of specialists (cardiac - pulmonary - surgeons - podiatrists - chiropractors - etc) as well as being a Federal/State surveyor for hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, and home health and through all of these experiences I can still put Dr. Ray at the very top of the list. He is not only knowledgeable but he explains everything in simple clarity and has a gift of knowing how important it is to have a good bedside manner with patients. He is above 5 Stars. We are very grateful to have Dr. Ray and his staff as our Primary Care Physician. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. When we had some medical issues last month we got all the attention we needed and we got all our questions answered and Dr. Ray even called from his home to relieve my wife's anxiety about what was going on with her health. Yesterday in his office he was patient with us and took the time to answer all our questions. Our appointment was at 3 p.m. and we were called in at 3:03 p.m. and we were out by about 3:30 p.m. Great experiences since 2015. Bob & Kim???? My mom has seen Dr. Ray (or should I say his PA's) on and off for 10 years. She has never met him. I have never met him. Only his PAs. My mom is on her death bed with hospice and he is the med director for the facility and he has not once seen her there. They do not call back. They never did. I imagine they never will, now that they told my sister that the nurse at the facility knows all they need to know. And the fish smells from the head down. Office staff just as bad. I am disheartened but she will be gone soon and will rest well knowing she is not under care of this doctor anymore.

Dr. Ray is in awesome, old school doctor that takes his time and makes you feel very at ease. The best Dr I have ever seen.

I was pleased with the waiting area and the staff that helped me get my paperwork donw correctly so I could see the doctor. Primary Care Provider is going well so far! Can't complain about a good bill of health :)

Pat office manager is extremely rude. My mother was in an assisted living at one time. Dr mc Doggle was the Dr from Rays office. The Drs office never called me back with her test results. I had to continue calling time after time. I received a letter from Pat saying they could no longer see my mother as a patient. Why....because I had to keep calling for results because ppl there donot know how to do their jobs. Pat also hung up on me when I called. First class spineless wonders. Wish I could have given no stars! One word to discribe office is RUDE!!!! LINDA Dr. Evans nurse is the most unfriendly person I have met! I don’t understand how an office can continue to run with how unprofessional they are. If you’re reading this review and questioning whether you should go here....don’t there are plenty of other doctors or even walk in clinics that will treat you like a human being.
