I went to see Dr. Palmer who I had previously seen per my PCP, because of chronic pain. The first thing he said to me you are going to be trouble. He did not listen to what I was explaining, he had me in tears. He was very cocky, uncaring and unprofessional. He stood in front of the door with his arms crossed and said I don’t know if I want you as a patient. I had already been his patient. He accused me of just wanting drugs, but if he looked at my medical history, he would have seen I have a low tolerance to any drugs and have bad reactions to them. But he didn’t. I was told to report him to patient experience, which I did the person who told me gave him a heads up. This got me no where, they wanted to know what I wanted them to do. Now I must be red flagged because I was not told when my heart doctor retired and I am not getting my calls returned. So this is what happens when you are not happy with a Mayo doctor. I did not like him initially but he was the only one availa.

Do not go to this Dr. He is cocky, does not listen to patient, has no connection with patient. Very arrogant. Had me in tears and just sat there with his arms crossed accusing me of just wanting pain meds. I have been in chronic pain for 3 years from 3 neck surgeries, I cannot take most medications, he did not even read my chart and did not know I was already his patient.

One of the worst pain management doctors I’ve ever been to he just sits there and doesn’t do anything doesn’t create a Care of plan doesn’t listen to the patient doesn’t prescribe any type of medicine doesn’t recommend any type of procedures he just takes money from people‘s insurance companies and he is a scam

He doesn’t listen, the information he puts in patients charts is blatantly erroneous. Disservice to the absolutely impeccable top quality of care and physicians Mayo is famous for. How did he bypass those standards?

Mayo was our hope to have relief from husbands back pain. THis doctor refused to acknowledge any issue and read chart incorrectly. No results from the dr. We suggest you go elsewhere.

Dr. Palmer performed spinal Injections to test my candidacy for a future Ablation procedure. I met Dr. Palmer in the procedure room where he assessed and confirmed the information collected by the nursing staff in a relaxed conversational.way that put me at ease. Dr. Palmer explained each step throughout a series of six spinal injections, even warning me when I may feel a more rigid pain. Dr. Palmer kept me distracted with conversation throughout the procedure finding common interests of food and travel and before I knew it, the procedure was over. I absolutely recommend Dr.Palmer . We would recommend that you go to any other Dr. In neurology. Doesn't listen, doesn't care. Please don't waste your time or money. Go anywhere else but him??.

He listened to all of my husband’s pain issues and problems which were lengthy. He came up with some options. So far we are VERY pleased with seeing him.

Not caring. Very sarcastic. Very cocky. Would never put myself in his hands. Look elsewhere.
