Dr. Nichols has been my PCP for years. A good and knowledgeable Doctor..

I've had this doc for probably 10 years now. He's what I consider a duct tape dr. I have an extensive medical history and this is the 1st dr. I've ever had that would rather put you on pain meds and give you steroid shots than send you to a specialist. I was told I had a pulled groin for at least 2 years on a hip I have had surgery on 3 times previously going back to childhood and couldn't do as much as get him to take an x-ray. I ended up telling him to set me up with an orthopedic and having a hip replacement of my fractured ball of hip and multiple bone spurs. I feel most appointments I went to were a waste, everything is out sourced. More appointments than needed. What should be 1 maybe 2 appointments is 3. I.e. I come in we talk about labs/ blood work, I get set an appointment at jrmc professional building for labs, and get another appointment to come back and discuss the lab work. 3 appointments and time off work for what could have been done at 1 or 2. The staff is awesome!
