After being with Dr. Thompson for nearly 15 years, he retired and I was switched to Dr. McDaniel. He was arrogant from the moment he walked in. Told me I didn't have cancer, which I already knew that. I don't go there for cancer, I have iron deficiency anemia. Dr. Thompson has always listened and cared but not this guy. I tried to explain what Dr. Thompson has told me for years and he just dismissed me. I have low iron and need an iron infusion and he refused to give me one. When I told him I have major stomach issues and can't take oral iron or eat iron rich foods, he dismissed me again. He finally said I didn't need to come back for at least a year and maybe not ever but yet I have iron deficiency. I've only been treated this badly by one other physician and I left that doctor and never went back. Do not use Dr. McDaniel. He won't listen to you and thinks he knows everything about you before he even speaks to you.

Awful. My doctor retired so I got stuck with him. I waited almost 2 hours to be seen. His NP was amazing but he was an arrogant and dismissive jerk. I've gone to this cancer center for iron deficiency for almost 15 years and never been treated this poorly. He didn't listen to a word I said and was very patronizing. I miss my other doctor so much. I will not be going back to this one ever!

Dr. McDaniel has not been receptive and has not followed through with appointments for his cancer patient who has been hospitalized and in critical conditions. The family has been waiting to meet with him for over 5 days. This behavior is unprofessional and not acceptable.

Such a sweet, caring compassionate doctor. Montgomery is blessed to have him here.
