Dr. Scott Matthew Martin

I've been a patient with Dr. Martin for years. Have tried MANY other Dr.'s in the valley and I can honestly say he is EXCEPTIONAL. He takes his time explains your condition and is NOT rushing you to a surgery BUT recommends the least intrusive solutions. He explains the risk and provides a level of comfort and TRUST you rarely see. He is knowledgeable in all forms of pain solutions. Would give him a 10 rating If I could. HIGHLY recommend him!

I highly recommend D. Martin. Wonderful bedside manner and spent a lot of time talking and explaining everything. Looking forward to being pain free working with Dr. Martin.

The entire experience from making the appointment to follow up was beyond expected. Dr. Matin’s front office is friendly, professional and very caring. You are seen at your appointment time and never sit and wait. Dr. Martin has the bedside manners of the sage old family doctor with all the skills, knowledge and expertise needed in this techno world. He listens, asks questions and actually makes sure he understands what the problem is. He’s not prescription crazy but will prescribe the right medication for the problem. I am so lucky to have been referred to Dr. Martin.

Dr. Martin is the BEST diagnostic, pain management specialist I have been treated by for nearly 8 years in Aliso Viejo at 5 Journey!! I would like to find him, but he is no longer at the practice and number that is listed. Very simply, I am willing to fly to Nevada from Southern California as a cash patient if I could find him again. He has helped me out of life threatening issues many times with his kind, understanding way of practicing in a most difficult, high pressure business!

Having a serious spinal cord injury a few years back, no one in the medical field could help me with the pain. Then, I met Scott Martin, that pretty much turned my life around, from driving down a dead end street, to riding my bike up Palomar mountain. Seriously, the difference between life and death! Dr. Martin spent over 25 minutes listening to me and then testing me so we could isolate the real cause of my pain, that resulted in sleepless nights and non-stop pains in my legs and toe for over 6 months. Immediately after his exam, he lead me to their surgical suite, performed a 100% pain-free injection & I walked out on my own less than an hour later. That night I enjoyed THE BEST sleep I've had in 6 months. If you don't choose Dr. Martin for your back pain, you're an idiot!

Dr Scotty Martin was a great Dr to me. He cared alot about what was happening with me and my legs due to a bad accident. I hated to see him go. Good luck Dr Martin!

Dr Martin was not only professional and personable with his patients, he had a grasp as to what what was being said and new where the problems areas that needed to be adressed. Dr Martin never prescribed pain meds that were above limits and were quick to tapper as need along with a comprehsinve program to get a patient back to health with as little medicine intervention as needed.

What happened is I was on high levels of narcotics by the time Dr. Martin left his practice in Aliso Viejo. Getting rebound pain. I will not recommend him as a Doctor. At his recommendation I had an electric stimulator put in by him. Having it removed ASAP due to the fact it doesn't work, has become disconnected on one side, is incorrectly placed presses up against my nerves in low back causing more pain. Inflamation of the muscles. Being arranged to remove. Horrible experience.
