My experience with Dr. Manthei has been wonderful from the beginning. Went and saw him a few months ago because I was dealing with constant ear and sinus infections. He was very thorough and made sure that I was evaluated correctly. First we tried nasal spray (Flonase) and a round of strong antibiotics, and he ordered a CT scan on my sinuses. After the medication didn’t really help, he recommended doing a septoplasty for my deviated septum and putting a tube in my ear to help my sinuses / ear drain. Went through the surgery 6 days ago. I’m rounding the curve now and starting to heal up very nicely. I was pretty nervous after seeing some reviews about that specific surgery (deviated septum surgery), but I decided to give the doctor a chance. Glad I did because he has been so kind and delicate with me the entire time. He made me laugh at the surgery center on the day of my operation and it kept me in a good head space. I remember waking up from the anesthesia as he was walking by my bed and he gave me a thumbs up (and I gave him one back). Recovery from a septoplasty is pretty tough at first, but it does get better with time. Went in for my post op appointment yesterday. I had some concerns with ear discomfort and Dr. Manthei was very comforting and helpful. I’ve called his office about 3-4 times since the surgery to ask questions and every time they have called me back and given me an answer, which kept me at ease. Just so ppl know… ITS SURGERY. You’re going to have bruising, bleeding, pain, swelling… that’s just a fact. Everyone reacts differently to surgery (pain tolerance, body symptoms, mental toughness, ect.) Also, I don’t think it’s right to give a doctor a bad review just because you don’t like his staff or “the wait time was too long”. People (like me) want to know what the experience WITH THE ACTUAL DOCTOR is like… not what the building smells like and how “Cindy” at the front desk treated you. Dr did not help me with my condition

Was seen by Dr. Manthei PA who seemed competent until she said I don't have correct light.Bleeding from nose continued after twice cauterizing it.Dr Manthei came in and put a dissolvable band aid in my nose and led me out.By the time I got to parking lot my nose was bleeding again.Went back to office and was told to go to ER.I think a quick sit down with Dr to explain what was happening and my options was needed as I had just left his office. Went to ER for six hours during which time my wife contacted Dr. Manthei office and was told he would not see me again.He seemed like a nice , caring doctor but I have to question that. I'm only giving two start because the stuff is horrible Jessica G. and Cindy was not very nice and helpful I had surgery on my nose and when I would call ask them question they would not help me at all. It seems like they didn't want to be bother at one point I call the office and spoke to Cindy I told her the medicine that the doctor prescribe was not doing anything and was not helping me at all, I was in tears when I was speaking to her, basically her response was it is what it is, instead of talking to the doctor and ask him. Dr. Manthei took the time to listen, handled things promptly and professionally, and even diagnosed a hearing loss issue that I didn't know I had! I've been plagued by tinnitus for years, and recently it's gotten really bad. One mention and I was in the booth getting tested!

Doctor Manthei Has been a God send I went to him years ago with horribly allergies. Dr Manthei was my ent when I was young, and now he did the tube placement surgery on my youngest. We normally see Dr. Zaratiegui and she is amazing! She answers all of our questions and we just love her!

I was not able to breathe out of my left nostil for years. I was originally hesitant with the reviews, but had faith in Dr. Manthei, and knew he can't perfect it like God could. I had severe nose surgery at the end of August 2020 and I'm extremely happy with the results! There was an extreme amount of bruising, which is expected, due to fixing the bone, etc. Arnica gel worked great. Surgery can be traumatic so don't expect roses, it takes time to heal. Everyone of the staff members were wonderful and caring, that includes the surgery center! I'm so thankful to Dr. Manthei and all of his staff!!! ???????????????? Dr Manthei is by far the VERY BEST DOCTOR whom I have ever had treat me ! EVER!!! *****And ***** I’m an RN working in an Acute Care Hospital. and I’ve worked with so many Physicians , and I just LOVE Dr Manthei ! Why ? Because he is The Best ! Dr Manthei has been so attentive to me, he has left no stone unturned when I had problems with frequent sinus infections , he used the most up to date diagnostic procedures to diagnose me , he took the time to get my history and physical, he Correctly assessed me and observed & assessed and diagnosed me with precision. He has changed my life , and I really feel that he’s saved my life because he has prevented me from frequent pneumonia’s , which I was getting often. I have called him and he is alwAys there to see me on that very day! I absolutely adore this Dr , I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM to you with the Greatest if confidence . He is the BEST !!!!

Trying to call ofc.re: a up coming surgery to get pre op instructions. Not at all happy with this situation! Getting no answer. Not a way to run a business!

I would have gave it no stars if I could. This will be the worst Drs. Experience yet, Dr.Manthei appeared to not care. Didn’t even take a look and made a decision through the nurse practitioners examination. Truly blown away, don’t go here.

I cannot express enough how terrible my experience was! Had to wait over 5 hours to have my surgery and surgery center, Dr Manthei broke my nose so badly I bruised from my eyes to the top of my lips, he botched the surgery and I had to have a surgery to correct all of his screw ups 6 months later. Please reconsider if you are thinking of using him, there are much better doctors in Las Vegas that truly care about the well being of their patients. I have nothing but kind words to say about Dr. Manthei. My wife and I have been going to him for years.

The only Doctor who has been able to take of my allergies. Have been going to him for 25 years. Excellent!

This man is not to be trusted and will take advantage of you if he can. I'd been dealing with tonsillitis for a long time and came to see him for that. I was anxious and concerned for my health and wanted to do anything I could to improve it. He took advantage of that by selling me on a septoplasty that I didn't need. (and I'll bet my left arm, he's done that to many more) I foolishly fell for his ploy and now, every time I touch my nose, I'm reminded of it. He didn't accomplish anything with the procedure except for making the structure of my nose weaker. It was all for nothing and he made money from it.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Manthei. It is a little hard to get appointments with him but if you need a quick appointment they always try to get you in to see the PA. My wife and I have been going to him for years.

Was told I was having a basic surgery to fix a broken nose, was left with a septum so deviated that I had to go to another surgeon to have it fixed. Not happy about it.

I had a septoplasty performed by Dr. Manthei. He did a terrible job. I have to have the surgery re-done. I can hardly taste my food.

Horrific experience! Made everything worse. I’ve already had to have another surgery to fix what he screwed up. So bad.

Dr. M was absolutely great in quickly assessing my sinus condition, which began with a traumatic baseball injury as a child. I had reconstructive surgery at 8 years old and later at age 42, now 71. My sinuses were a mess inside and Dr. M told me he could fix it with several procedures all done at once. He did an excellent job as did his nurse, Cindy, and Esmeralda, the surgery scheduler. I am now enjoying the ability to breath through my nose unrestricted for the first time in many years.

This is from 4 FORMER patients...Dr. Manthies quality of care is horrible and as former patients we are warning you to choose another doctor!! He seriously overlooked issues in our care and did damage to us as well! Do not trust him!!! He needs to keep up with times and technology and he's an arrogant know it all, who knows nothing!! Please find another doctor..retire Manthie before you critically hurt or worse anyone else...read about it!

Dr manthei, he is compassionate, bright, and talented! I have worked with him for years as a colleague. He cares immensely for the care of his patients! Nothing but the best ...here!

My name is Jackie Bissell and I have some feedback for Dr. Scott Manthei... If not for dr. manthei I wouldn't be writing this post. In 2011 I started to have a cough and felt poorly. I went to see a physicians assistant who referred me to my own doctor, but he was out of tow. I saw his assistant who prescribed wrong medication. After 2.5 years and about 30 doctors I ended up in Summerlin hospital with pneumonia and bacterial endocarditis. I needed 2 heart valves and my aorta repaired. Like many others, I too, would not be writing this review if not for the professional, caring and never give up style the Dr. Scott Manthei gives his patients ???????????? I had a ongoing infection in my left ear. After seeing several ENT’s with no result, I was referred to Dr. Manthei...he too was no sure what was causing the infection, so he ordered a CT scan and was able to find a cancer tumor, in its beginning stages, in my nasal passage, near my brain stem...Long story short, I did chemo and radiation for a year, lost a lot of weight, but here I am over 15 years later and still cancer free ???????????? Thanks Dr.Manthei for saving my life ???? I have suffered from chronic sinusitis, asthma, allergies & bronchitis. I had been to another ENT & had a horrible experience. My internist, Dr.Noel Chamian (also fantastic ) gave me a referral to Dr Manthei. Excellent is the only way to describe Dr Manthei, Cindy ( his assistant, & the entire office staff. He properly diagnosed the issue, prescribed appropriate medication & further testing. I did require sinus surgery. The end results are fantastic! Highly recommend ! Never felt better !!

My husband starting having severe sinus & throat issues, we were scared & called Dr. Palacios/Dr.Manthei's office. To say they were accomodating would be an understatement. The front desk staff was so helpful, got us in right away. We saw Cindy, Dr. Manthei's nurse. She was so caring. Dr. Manthei was so thorough with the exam & really talked with me & my husband. Normally we feel rushed when we go see a doctor. But not here. I cannot emphasize enough the personal care we received from everyone.

My daughter just graduated from UNLV and is starting Juilliard in August. She is a singer and has to be completely healthy when she starts Juilliard. Due to some vocal chord issues she had an ultra sound on 6/2. Due to mistakes, inefficiencies, and a doctor's vacation we still have been unable to get results..... Right now I would have to say Dr. Manthei's patients health and well being takes a back seat to most everything else on his calendar......
