This Dr explained the procedure that he would do and did it. I had a herniated L-4 Disc in Oct. 1997 and was in bed for 3 days straight. My husband called my family Dr., (who knew I had been complaining of problems, but thought it was because I had a 4 month old baby). He told me to come to Pomona Valley Hospital for an MRI. Took 2 hours to get me in the car. I had a terrible back labor with the youngest child, my first 2 were C-sections, but I had no problems, since I had epidurals with both of them. When my family Dr. saw the MRI he told me "why didn't you tell me how much pain you were in"! My surgery was wonderfully done by Dr. Lederhaus, and I was up walking that same day, with no pain! I have been paid free for most of the time. I have had 3 times in the past 23 years, when I was pulling weeds for too long and had to go to my Dr for medication, but only til the inflamation went down.Thank you Dr. Lederhaus???? This Dr explained the procedure that he would do and did it. I had a herniated L-4 Disc in Oct. 1997 and was in bed for 3 days straight. very arrogant man will not recommend anybody

I am a cardiologist who worked and referred to Dr Leaderhaus over 35 years. He operated on my mother three times with great results. A rare asset for a surgeon is knowing when not to operate and Dr Leaderhaus’s integrity, skill, judgment, and knowledge could be counted on and did not falter all these years. There was no neurosurgeon I trusted more. He is an exemplary person who communicates well with patients and staff and even in retirement, he remains current. I hv reached out twice to him in the past year and a half and appreciate the enormity of his help. He is emblematic of all that our profession aspires to be.

Had him as my referral doctor for a neck injury. I was 15 min late and then waited in the waiting room for another 45 min. When I was called back all he did was berate me for being late.......uh.......ok. He did not do one thing as far as examine me or ask questions and then he walked out and that was that. Very angry man that day at least. Smh, what is wrong with people that think they can treat others so bad? He then went on to complain to my group about me being late. Had back surgery 20 years ago and still have had no problems. My friend and his wife went to LA because they were highly rated, both had problems the husband had 2 follow up surgeries.

I went to Dr Lederhous for a second opinion. I was recommended to him from a friend who he operated on successfully and did a minimally invasive lumbar surgery on him successfully. I found Dr Lederhous to be extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I have since found out Dr Lederhous is a member of an ethics group who are against over operating on patients among other things. I highly recommend him.

I had a friend who had back surgery couple years ago, he still has pain but it doesn't go down his leg anymore though

Dr. Lederhaus is the best at what he does. He has a lot of experience and I know he would not do surgery if it wasn't necessary. He is honest, thorough and made me feel completely comfortable. I would send family members to him if I had to.

The office is not patient friendly. The doctor is not concerned with the medical condition of the patient. He will not treat you unless the patient gives up all their legal rights by signing the liability form. So don't waste your time with this office. They don't care about your time and having to take off work to deliver the new patient packet days prior to your scheduled appointment to see this rude doctor. This doctor is only concerned about money in his own pocket.

If you see Dr. Lederhaus you have to sign away all your rights in case of misdiagnosis or medical mistakes. He charges $100 for a cancelled appointment. He will not give any estimates upfront. He doesn't take checks. Money is their main concern (in my opinion), medical problems seem to be secondary. I got a 20 page form to fill out before they would even consider to see me.
