Scott E. Langenburg

Dr Langenburg is the best pediatric surgeon I have ever met and I’ve met quite a few. He listens, he’s kind, patient, and cares for his patients. We took my daughter to see him for a second opinion and I thank God we did, because we were so comfortable with him that we decided to transfer her so he can preform her surgery.

I had a pediatric surgery appointment scheduled for my 4 year old daughter Julia Qafko at 7am at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, with Dr. Scott Langenburg. We got there at 6:15 as per the hospital’s instructions and when we get there they tell us that the doctor forgot to show up for the surgery. Our only option was to wait for the next available doctor. It took over three hours of waiting until another doctor became available. My 4 year old daughter Julia had not eaten anything and she could not eat because of her surgery. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. We were not there to buy a used car we were there for my 4 year old daughter’s surgery which was scheduled way in advance. My disappointment and dissatisfaction has no words to be explained with. Just plain shameful on their end. They charged me almost 12K for this damn procedure, just to remove a small cyst on her shoulder.

Dr Langenburg took quite a bit of time to get to know our son before his surgery for appendectomy. He answered any questions or concerns we had and thoroughly explained both before and after the procedure what to expect and what he did. He really put all of us at ease and we’re very happy with his care.

Horrible doctor went to see this this guy 3 times was told that our son had a dermoid cyst told to come back at 8 months to remove it they never did any blood work or urine tests we took him to u of m mott Childrens our son was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer in infants if I could give him 0 stars that’s what it would be looks like all there worried about is misdiagnosing people and getting there money.
