Dr. Scott Joseph Lamb

I went to see Dr. Lamb in the clinic. Was such a fast visit getting in to see him. No waiting. He recommended injections for my back pain. They took great care of me at the pain clinic in the hospital. I have been going to ETMC for 15yrs for these. No place I’d rather go. Highly recommended!

Dr. Lamb takes the time to do a comprehensive exam and to discuss all the options. He is very easy to talk to during the exam in the office and to come up with a plan to manage your pain that you both can agree on. He has an excellent bedside manner when doing pain management procedures and is very re-assuring. His office staff and the staff in the Pain Management procedure lab at UT Health Tyler are very pleasant to deal with and take excellent care of the patient. I love Dr Scott he listens to u and his helper is very sweet and they care about u they don't treat like a dummy and make u feel bad bout yourself. His office safe is great. Gave them a big 5 Star ????????????????????

Dr.Lamb and Dr.Huston are great. Very professional staff as I feel like they are easy to work with as far as scheduling appointments and keeping insurance matters in check. The doctors and nurses r thorough and they take the time to listen and help recommending methods to manage pain. My meds r always called in quickly and I never have had to worry about them forgetting to call them in. Dr.Lamb and Dr.Huston are great. I have been under the care of Dr. Lamb for the last nine years. He has proven to be very skilled in his profession. He listens closely to your concerns regarding your pain and is very professional in his treatment. I have never felt that I was a "number" but felt a very personal caring attitude from Dr. Lamb. His staff is very proficient and waiting has never been a problem. Knowing Dr. Lamb's sincere caring , the stress alone dealing with chronic pain was lessened.. Very nice and listened to my concerns and answered questions.

My mother had a referral here and after numerous attempts of trying to get an appointment and promised call backs by the staff that never occurred we decided to get a different referral. We never even got to see the doctor. One of their staff claims to have called and that my mom never answered but why wasn't there a voice-mail left? I am so pleased with the Nurses and other staff that assist Dr. Scott Lamb, in his Office and surgery sets.

Dr. Scott Lamb is the best, he's my pain management Dr he's very caring, thoughtful, talks to you explains everything so you know what is going on and his nurse Kimberly very sweet I give them a 10 and a half.....

I give a five star rating! I've been going to Dr. Lamb for 2 years. He listens to my problems and takes care of them. He is personable but professional at his job. Sometimes the wait is long but worth it in the end. I would highly recommend him for a pain management doctor!

Had a procedure done ,I left there worse than before I went in. 4 days later and my arm where the nurse put the iv is still bruised bigtime all black and purple, its horrible. I could barely walk for 2 days afterwards and my body is still hurting. No mercy at all. I will not be going back . Revision to my previous review. I had originally given Dr Lamb a 1 star due to him refusing to do injections in my neck. He did end up doing them that day much later. I think he has a training issue with his staff which he said was resolved.

I was very unhappy with the way my injections were handled. His office failed to tell me to quit one of my Medications and when I got to the hospital after driving an hour ans a half he refused to do them at 1st. The nurse left me sitting in the waiting room for well over an hour and he finally agreed to do them aftsr I basically begged him to. It was HIS OFFICES ERROR, NOT MINE! He definitely needs to train them better and work on his bedside mannor.

Entire office staff is horrible. Also can't keep patient appointment times correct either!!. Even though your told one time on the phone. Doesn't care about helping anyone! Someone called out of nowhere to schedule an appt 2 months out. They can't tell me what it's for. Someone calls a day before and reschedules me to the next day. I drove all the way from the other side of Lindale and was 5mins late and they refused to see me stating it's an hour long appt and they wouldn't have time. They rescheduled me 2 weeks out with an appt at 8 in the morning which is hard for me because I don't sleep at night bc of excruciating arm pain. Needless to say I woke up late... immediately called and left message for the nurse explaining the situation. She calls back 3 hours later and states he can't see me because I "noshowed". I questioned this "lovely" lady as to whether the situation was explained to the doctor. She then goes on to tell me that these are precious appt and they are testing the nerves in my arms to see what's causing the pain(the first time at which I have been told what the appt is even for!) and he now refuses to see me ...backed up four months yada yada yada... I stopped her again and asked did someone explain the circumstances to the doctor because the reason I was late today is the exact reason I was seeing him! She said yes. I said well it's good to know what kind of doctor he is that's not interested in actually helping his patients and that I would be sure to let everyone else know as well. I would definitely do my research before seeing this doctor. I honestly don't know for a fact that this is how the doctor thinks but his staff sure wants to make everyone believe that's how he is. Nurse is wonderful, half the staff suck and Dr. Needs to be investigated he definitely appears to be self medicating. Been there three times they're trying to force me to injections have a serious problem in my spine definitely not going back. going to go see a real doctor in Dallas.

I guess the medical profession is a joke to these people at Olympic plaza and Ut health! Had to reschedule an apt that they call out of no where Making with you and they don't know nothing? You wait for the scheduled lady to call back and some lady calls back who is not the one who does schedules. These people are un professional and a joke! They just lost Two paitent! Tried for three weeks to contact office for appointment as directed. Had to call referring Dr and have them contact t this doctor. This doctor scheduler immediately called and set up appointment. Dr recommended shots in back, did the first. The day of second shot I woke up with a fever and head ache, probably flu. Called doctor's office and got the same old message, a recording even after the doctor and scheduler said there was no answering machine just having problems with phone system.

Terrible bedside manner. disregarded all my complaints. Not knowledgeable about my injury. Isn’t willing to explore other options for my specific injury. Had a few tests, a few injections in the office. Nothing is helping. He stated “I’m not changing my plan” I’m getting a second opinion from a real specialist!

I’m currently seeing this physician for a work related injury. I think Dr Lamb has terrible bedside manner, he disregarded everything I said about my specific complaints . He doesn’t act like he’s knowledgeable about my specific injury. I’m still in so much pain after a few tests and injections. He stated “I’m not changing my plan” I’m getting a second opinion!
