I can't believe how Dr Kazadan has charged my insurance $478 for literally 2 mins of his time and didn't perform any treatments or advise other than physio therapy I think this is unfair and not passionate to help people

I saw Dr Dan Gonzalez on Monday 3/20. I was suffering from severe lower back pain that effected my knees and legs. Dr Gonzalez gave me a check up and took ex rays. He prescribed medication and a prescription for physical therapy sessions. It’s been five days and I no longer need the prescribed medication and as of Thursday, I am able to work out in the gym. I also no longer feel any pain in my lower back or legs. I thank the Doctor and his staff for their efforts in helping me get to the point where I am no longer feeling any discomfort. Went to see this doctor recently with an MRI report and the first thing he said was I needed surgery of my left shoulder where I have some torn ligaments of the rotator cuff. I was fortunate enough that his surgical coordinator was out that week and couldn't schedule any surgery appointment. I must clarify that his decision to operate was only based on the MRI I brought, didn't occur to him to order an X Ray or anything else, and less a second opinion or therapy. My insurance has been very helpful and got me another appointment for a second opinion. It was done, and the first thing this other Dr. told me was that they needed and X Ray of the shoulder to make sure nothing was broken and they couldn't practiced surgery based on the MRI, since it only showed soft tissue. This was a reasonable and logical thing to do. My new doctor saw the MRI and the X Ray and concluded that I needed physical therapy. I have been doing the therapy for about 2 weeks and I feel much better. My life has become to normality in a 90% per cent, I do want to advise others about those doctors who are so much in a hurry to cut you off. Forgot to mention that I told Dr Kazdan I didn't want surgery and he mentioned that if 6 months I wanted to comeback and ask him to perform the surgery, he wouldn't be able to do it because it would be too late. Again people, be aware of doctors who want to perform surgeries right away when they first read an MRI report like he did. Remember to go for that second opinion. It is understandable that when we are suffering from physical pain we can't even think straight to stand up to doctors l ike this one and tell them to back off and go slowly if after all this is our body! Dr. Kazdan is a wonderful doctor. He’s so friendly and straight to the point. He takes his time and explained my diagnosis and plan of treatment thoroughly. Would recommend 100%

My experience with him was awful. I came with an X-ray and reports saying I had avascular necrosis and a follow up mri was recommended. He never took the report seriously and insisted it just needed a better brace. He was very cocky about it when I asked if he looked at the X-ray. When that didn’t work, a cortisone shot. Bottom line is I wasted 6 weeks of unnecessary and harmful treatment before he agreed that I should have the mri. The Mri indeed showed that I had necrosis in the wrist, my entire wrist was on the verge of collapse. All he said to me after that was that I needed more help than he was capable of giving to me. I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks ago after calling the office for 3 days trying to get through. I scheduled other appointments for that day, specifically around this appointment for an injury that needs to be looked at. His office waited til 4:30 on a Friday afternoon to tell me they need to reschedule my appointment for earlier in the day. If I cancel the 2 appointments I would have to cancel to accommodate their last minute changes, or if they're willing to pay the fees I would incur for a last minute change, then maybe. I understand the need to reschedule, but to wait until this late in the afternoon to call patients is unacceptable. I've worked with doctors who have to go on call and have to rearrange schedules. This seems to be an issue throughout MANY offices around here. IF they office even answers the phone to take an appointment. I’m like 2 years late on giving Dr Kazdan a review but he did a ACL surgery on my right knee and I fully recovered within 9 months. People want the doctor to spend 1 hr on a visit but not me I just want the straight forward evaluation with what needs to be done and I’ll be on my way. The reason I’m making this review now is because I’m making another appointment for another issue. This Dr is not interested in being your best friend, he is interested and fully fixing your problem. I’ll take that all day. He is a nice guy he just has other patients he has to attend to. The staff are friendly. Floyd, if he’s still there was awesome with his physical therapy. Highly recommended. My 96 year old mother was not not seen by DR KAZDAN, WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT and great insurance coverage . WE WERE REFERRED to KAZDAN'S office by my mother's primary care doctor & her profile was sent over to his office.. Dr. Kazdan is cocky, gruff and lacks some bedside manners but I do beleive he is a good surgeon. I had a spiral fracture to tibia and fibula, had no health insurance and he worked with me on cost for surgery and PT. Overall I would reccomend.

Dr Kazdan did surgery on my right knee on Wednesday went to see him on Friday and back to work on Monday. Everything went exactly like he said it would. Avoid this practice, my 96 year-old mother was not seen by DR KAZDAN. She had an appointment and wonderful insurance. She was unfortunately referred here by her primary physician. In fact her profile was sent to this office . Mom and her aid were unable to fill out the new patient paper and sent home. AVOID ,AVOID , AVOID. We plan to take mom to a more caring and professional office in the area.

Dr. Kazdan gave me freedom. I had knee problem for a long time, my future was to be on a wheel chair- he operated on me ... knee replacement ... I am walking, biking -many miles a day! I trust him, very good doctor... his stuff very good. I highly recommend him...

He is one of the world's biggest jerk. And his staff is.not far behind. He stated too me that my knee was ok. After I went to see another doctor in the same week. They scheduled me for surgery. I would never go back to him again.

Great doctor and he has a wonderful staff. They’re super accommodating and wait times are always less than 10 minutes. It’s easy to get an appointment sometimes even same day. I highly recommend this office. Best orthopedic in the area.

I love Dr. Kazdan and his amazing staff. They treated me like family from the very beginning. I had neck pain and dr.kazdan recommended physical therapy. I had therapy in the office with Floyd. He is the best therapist I ever went to. My neck feels great now thanks to them.

Dr. Scott Kazdan is an amazing Dr. I have never had surgery in my life and he attended me in my leg surgery and explained how everything would be done. He eased all of my worries. I highly recommend Dr. Kazdan.

Bad experience, I got billed for treatment that I didn't receive. Office manager told me Dr. Order treatment so they billed me $789.00 although I cancel appointments and Dr. Told me there was nothing he can do for me. I don't recommend this Dr. And I will no pay for treatment never received.

My sister went to see him for a swollen foot and he said there was nothing wrong. My sister went to another Orthopedic because her feet was not getting better and he told her she had two fractures. he was also very rude when he talked to her. I don't understand how this guys is still in business.

My experience was pretty bad. I called before the appointment to get a price for the visit with the insurance and I was told a X-ray would be roughly $10 more with insurance if I got one. For my follow up, the second visit, I was charged the same as the first which was about $130 so the doctor could talk to me for 3 minutes and rush me out of the office. I was then told I had a balance for my X-ray which they were charging me about $60 for. They refused to adjust the price because I couldn't remember the name of the person who told me the initial pricing. My main issue, they didn't treat me like a human that they wanted to provide medical care for. I felt like a another person they just wanted to squeeze as much money as they could using minimal effort on their side. My experience was pretty bad. I've been to Dr. Kazdan's office several times, for a "trigger" finger and for my back. Staff is very friendly, appointments are easy to get, the doctor is very professional and nice. He treated my finger and back, and I haven't had any issues since. I recommend his office.

Went there 6 different times, every time they would charge and nothing done other than talking about what they would do next time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Dr. Kazdan’s office seems organized and very well run. They are warm and welcoming and Dr. Kazdan himself comes across as a pleasant and forthright Doctor who tells you straight up what the issues are.

I was referred to Dr. Kazdan after an x-ray showed a strong possibility of bone issues in my wrist. The report suggested a follow up MRI. Dr. Kazdan insisted that it was only tendinitis. .I asked if he had looked at the X-Ray , he said he did and dismissed the findings because the condition was rare and I couldn't possibly have it. After a few months and several treatments that didn't help got MRI which confirmed the Condition requiring major surgery by another dr.. Suffered due to arrogance.

I was very nervous going into this appointment because I was in need of a cortisone injection. My appointment was at 9:30, I got there at 9:20. By 9:32 I had already had my X-rays and was headed to the exam room. Everyone was very kind and professional. Dr Kazdan was very reassuring and assured me all would be fine, and he was right. The shot was of minimal pain. He did not rush me and listened and explained. I am very happy with the entire visit.

He was very informative and relatable with me. Dr. Khazdan took his time with his instructions on taking care of my bicep tear, and he gave great incite on how I should weigh my options! He's one of the few honest doctors that cares about your success in surgery.

I absolutely love this office! The staff is phenomenal and Yashira (The office Manager) is fantastic. Dr. kazdan's dedication to his patients clearly showed through his committed and personal interest in my recovery. He's in outstanding surgeon and a true professional. Last but not least, Floyd (Dr. Kazdan's Physical Therapist) I owe him a huge THANK YOU! Choosing a good P.T is just as important as choosing your surgeon. 5 stars is the Max I can give Floyd but he's truly a 10

Very fast and efficient office. Dr. Kazdan was able to diagnose my injury promptly and estimated a time of healing with a walking boot. He was right on the money!! Healed well without surgery; a big plus!! Very happy with Dr. Scott Kazdan.

WORST DOCTOR EVER!! He has no bedside manners! He yelled at my grandmother, jerked her leg, shook his hand in her face. He is just so rude! As for his office staff, they follow their leader and are just as rude!

Dr. Kazdan and is his staff are rude I went to him for my chronic knee pain and his medical assistant I am assuming would make fun of the way i walked and had the nerve to demonstrate what it looked like to her every time I came in very unprofessional and as far as Dr. Kazdan's bedside manner is completely and utterly atrocious. Wont be returning needless to say.

Dr. Kazdan is a true professional. He spends a good deal of time with patients explaining diagnoses and options. He has a GREAT office staff. They are all kind, helpful and understanding.

Had my initial visit with Dr. Kazdan on March 21 and he was awesome! The question I always ask myself is "am I going to need surgery?" To my surprise, Dr. Kazdan first recommendation was therapy and go from there. I am truly grateful for his level of knowledge and expertise. And his staff is also AMAZING! This turned out to be a great referral and I look forward to my continued care.

First time going to an orthopedic specialist and by far the best doctor visit experience I had..

Had a newly hired assistant X-ray broken wrist and place cast; he never looked at it himself and I had to do follow up surgery to correct it with different surgeon.

I've seen Dr. Kazden a few times within the past two months for lower back pain/ numbness of legs. He told me from the get go, he was not one to give pain killers or shots. If I felt I needed that, I should go to a pain clinic. I like this because there are so many doctors who quickly prescribe medication. He immediately put me into PT with Floyd (who, by the way is tremendous). Dr Kazden has a good bedside manner and is efficient and caring. His staff is beyond friendly and very professional.

Very disappointed with this doctor. He has ZERO bed side manner. He did my surgery and after I told him I still had pain, he said "I was a baby" and he couldn't help me. Told me to go to a pain clinic. Not very nice!!

Unfortunately, only a handful of USA Doctors provide exception and detail care for their patients, at the time and during office visits. Doctor Scott Kazdan is NOT one of them. He seemed to be always in a hurry and more concerned with the revenue he will make than listening to the patients issues. When you feel pain and a doctor, like Dr. S. Kazdan says there is nothing wrong with you, you need to be worried since it should be absence of evidence and NOT evidence of absence. Never coming back.

I will say that this was the best experience i had.I had taken my friend to Dr Kazdan for a broken foot&saw how his office staff was friendly helpful&NICE!!So i went to see him for my knee& had a good outcome!!I will tell anyone to go&see him&i will continue to go to him.What a pleasure Dr Kazdan is how lucky i was to find him!!!

Doctor Kazdan is very good, Floyd, who is the physical therapist is Excellent. The Office staff is very , very good, especially Yashira. I recommend Dr. Kazdan and his staff, very Highly.

I had a broken wrist 11 years ago and he and his staff were caring and wonderful, so upon this mishap I chose them again. Just got my cast off today and I can not tell you how pleased I am with their service.

Front office staff was terrible. They require your social security number and execution of a litigation agreement. Beware. Identity theft is on the rise and you should never give up any rights. They cancelled my appt because I wouldn't sign it. This is the only medical office I have seen request this.
