I had a hard time with this. He performed open heart surgery on my husband and the surgery was great. He or his staff came by pre OP and spent time explaining things. I'm an ICU nurse but it made us feel better that they were so involved. After the surgery, Dr Johnsin let me know how everything went and then nothing. I haven't seen anyone since. What's worse is that my husband was doing great but then he started having multiple complications and still nothing. I have no idea what the plans are, what the doctor thinks about things or anything as I have not seen hide nor hair from CV surgery since post op. 8/13 Update. Dr. Johnson preformed quadruple bypass surgery on me on New Years Eve 2015, almost three years ago and I am alive and well! Nothing but professionalism. Thank You sir for saving my life!!
