Saw him as the on call pediatrician hospitalist after giving birth. He kept referring to my son as primitive following a head trauma at birth, stuck his dirty hands in my sons dirty diaper then put them in my sons mouth without gloves or washing them, was extremely unprofessional, dismissive, as my husband would call it “milk shamed” me in terms of breast feeding. Did not practice in an evidence based manner. Was arrogant yet didn’t know how to use a computer. I’ve considered filing a formal complaint with Sanford, he was HORRIBLE. My husband and I are both healthcare practitioners and know more than the average non medical provider. I am fearful for any first time mom who isn’t as experienced in this setting as I am. Do not let this man treat your child.
Would not go back, every concern was blown off, he is the only doctor at sanford that never has any provider notes on mychart (we see several at sanford), judgmental. He blew off more than one concern that turned out to be bigger issues. Absolutely no connection at all and never remembered a thing about my child after seeing this doctor for over a year.

Looking to switch providers. I do not feel a connection to him at all he uses poor words choices when referring to my child. It's as if he forgets my child is special needs. I always feel rushed but not very compassionate care.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr Henry is a cruel man who has no business working with small children. He has a foul temper and horrible bedside manner. Staff was fantastic but the Doctor was atrocious.

We have been seeing Dr. Henry for nearly 16 years with our two children (since their births). He is very knowledgeable, thorough, and caring. You couldn't ask for a better experience with a doctor.
Dr. Scott Henry is a wonderful pediatrician. He is very intelligent and compassionate, and we couldn't ask for a better health care provider for our children.
