Dr. Scott D Gillogly

Dr. Gillogly has an amazing pedigree. He works with major professional sports teams and their athletes. His skills are phenomenal. He genuinely connects this his patience. He carefully listens to all you concerns and answers you questions . I especially appreciated his asking what my goals for recovery— what do I want to be able to do? He is conservative in his approach but when surgery is necessary; his skills are exemplary. I highly recommend Dr. G. I have sent many friends to him. With great success.

He is the best of the best.

Ok folks...If you want a doctor with a great warm bedside manner that is a magician with his hands, you found him in Gillogly. I am a 30 year veteran professional motion picture stuntman outta Hollywood. I broke my clavicle while filming in Atlanta. It was a comminuted fracture with floating pieces everywhere. I stressed to him that I'm in my mid 50's and I needed him to treat me like a young professional athlete as I am still a working stuntman performing all gags, and that plays a lot of sports and charges hard on a bunch of motorcycles. He had to plate it. The scar, which was cut perpendicular to the clavicle, is literally invisible. After surgery he came in and said, "Well, my assistant said to me, "Doc, he had chicken crap and you gave him chicken salad". I am doing full handstands and working out again. I really can't say enough about this guy...HE LISTENED AND EXECUTED MY NEEDS! What the hell more can you ask for....

Dr. Gillogly was very professional, thorough and exhibited great compassion regarding my issues. It was my first visit, and he took the time to understand my symptoms and come up with a plan of action to address my condition. I was extremely nervous about my appointment and in a great deal of pain. Dr. G is amazing! I have been dealing with issues with my left knee since 2009, when I blew it out playing women's tackle football. I had gotten to the point where every step I took was extremely painful. I went to see 2 other orthopedic surgeons prior to finding Dr. G, whom took one look at my MRI and stated that I needed a knee replacement but couldn't help me because I was too young. I was told to quit playing football and quit running. My 1st consultation with Dr. G was awesome! He took the time to go over my MRI in detail, explaining to me what was going on in my knee. He then devised a plan which included scoping my knee and using stem cell therapy to heal damaged cartilage and bone. I am now 2 weeks post OP and besides a little swelling, my knee feels amazing! I can walk without being in excruciating pain and he is very confident that I'll be able to return to all the things I once enjoyed. Not once did he use the word quit, instead he stated to me that he believed in me. I would definitely recommend him to anyone whom is looking for a Dr that is passionate about what they do and helping others. He's compassionate, caring, and encouraging. I am currently seeing Dr. Gillogly for my fractured foot. I have been delighted with his care; he listens and answers questions completely and takes the time to be sure I know how to proceed for optimal healing. I highly recommend him and the office staff as they are courteous, professional, and kind.

Years ago I was fortunate to treat with Dr. Gillogly after a prominent sports medicine doctor misdiagnosed my condition. Dr. Gillogly's treatment literally saved my running career. I would only refer my clients to him for any knee or shoulder issues. He also restored my ex-wife's knee after another doctor did the wrong procedure. Dr. Gillogly did a fairly radical surgery that resulted in my ex having regained the use of her knee. I regard him as brilliant and caring and would highly recommend.

Dr Gillogly was excellent with my son. We traveled 6 hours to see him and knew we made the right choice after our first visit. My son had surgery in our hometown, but it was unsuccessful. My son's knee is as good as new, and for the first time in years is pain free. He can walk and run again thanks to Dr Gillogly.

I had tommy John surgery back in 1994 and am still doing great today! He did a great job repairing my arm!

Dr. Gillogly was more concerned with telling me about his gold card, than treating my problem. I think if that comment is an indication of his lack of maturity, and his poor priorities, it is time for him to get out of the business. I guess that is why he moved to Doha, Qatar.

I had surgery several years ago for an alignment problem with my knee. Dr. Gillogly, created an angle on my knee during the surgery which has caused excruciating pain every day since the surgery. He created this deformity on my leg without telling me what he was going to do before the surgery. Dr. Gillogly tends to experiment with different procedures without the permission of his patients. Dr. Gillogly will perform a procedure on a patient even though he is not the best qualified Doctor.
