He is personal and professional, kind & courteous. I think he is very honest too.

Dr. Gauthreaux is an excellent doctor, really takes time to listen to my concerns.. his staff are so kind and so is the surgical staff. He is definetly the best and office is so easy to find. He also comes to Lake Charles to see his patients. I can't say enough good things about him.

I have been seeing Dr. Gauthreaux for years after my eye dr saw something at a routine eye exam and sent me to Lafayette to see Dr. Gauthreaux. He worked me in that same day and had it not been for him, I would be blind today. My eye issues are diabetes related as I'm a type 1 diabetic and he stays on top of any changes in my eyes. Even though I have to routinely get injections in my eyes he always makes me feel comfortable and I am very pleased with the level of care I receive and his staff are also amazing. Office is poorly managed, or doctor does not know how to manage his time; Was required to show up 15 minutes prior to appointment for my 3 week old son’s appointment, but left in waiting room for over an hour.

On November 9, 2020, Dr. Scott Gauthreaux saved my eyesight after a sudden and unexpected detachment of the retina in my right eye. While this was certainly an alarming situation, my anxiety was quickly put to rest when I was reassured by Dr. Frank Cullota, who initially assessed my emergency, that I would be in great hands with Dr. Gauthreaux. Personally, working in the healthcare industry for over 29 years, my expectations were high. From day one, Dr. Gauthreaux and his staff have exceeded all my expectations. Not only did I receive topnotch surgical results, but was also met with compassion and promptness by all members of this team. I could not be more impressed! Thank you, Dr. Gauthreaux and team!! My name is Veronica Duhon. I have been a patient of  Dr Gautreaux since 2014, when I was diagnosed with retina detachment to my left eye. Then again in my right eye in 2016.  I have had two surgeries since then. If it was not for the persistence, patience and care of Dr Gautreaux an his team during surgery and post op, I really don't know where I would be visually today.  Thanks so much and you get a 5 star rating.

Goes above and beyond the call of duty to help his patients. He is an awesome doctor. He and his staff make me feel very welcome and comfortable at my appointments. They are willing to work with me when it comes to my schedule.

Saw doctor Gauthreaux 15 years ago for detached retina and again for recently. He's extemely knowledgeable, friendly and spends plenty time with you. Highly recommend him.
